My dad (58) divorced my mom (58 too) 10 years ago, she got custody of me (24F) cause she made more money and is able to provide a stable home for me. Mom never remarried. He remarried my stepmom (441) two years ago and she’s a very nice woman. They’re very much in love and there are no hard feelings on any side of the family.
At the beginning of the year, my stepmom called me to tell me that she’s heartbroken cause she can’t have bio-children. She and dad have been trying, but they couldn’t conceive because she was infertile after many doctor’s visits. I think she didn’t want to accept that news, so she went to others to have someone tell her that the tests are wrong.
While I’m close with them, I’m not comfortable with knowing that type of intimate detail.
Stepmom told me that she’s looking into in vitro and she’s always wanted a child like me. I don’t consider myself special, but she wants me to be a mold for a biological child. She asked if I could consider donating my eggs to her... keep reading on reddit ➡
Yes, you are allowed to make fun of my idiocy lmao
People always freak out about eating raw cookie dough for fear of salmonella due to the raw eggs.
Yet raw egg whites have been a common ingredient in fancy cocktails for ages and its never been questioned or regarded as dangerous.
With today marking the one year anniversary since Gible was released in game, I decided to share my experience for how rare of a Pokemon it is. I use the TL40data.com site to keep track of my stats at the end of every month so I took the data from the end of May and subtracted it from my current numbers. I also removed the trades done and eggs hatched during that same time from catches since they also count as Pokemon caught. I also included an estimate of the data from the last 13 days of May from last year by taking my May total and multiplying them by 13/31.
I spend probably less than $20 a year on the game and tend to prioritize raid passes over incubators, so I don’t do as much hatching as some people. So my egg experience could be seen as more of a FTP experience. I also avoid 7k eggs at all cost. I’ll make sure my Pokemon storage is full in order to avoid them when opening gifts. So almost all my... keep reading on reddit ➡
If you think you're doing a good thing when purchasing eggs from chickens that are "vegetarian fed" you are mistaken. Chickens are omnivores and LOVE eating bugs. Depriving them of that in their diet is depriving them of something essential, which in turn is depriving you of something essential.
In Season 4, Episode 12, "What Time Is It Right Now", the episode opens with Flip pitching Philbert to the network execs. At one point in the conversation, one of the execs mistakes Flip saying "new time" for him saying "newt time". At the end of the conversation, Flip ends his pitch off by saying "maybe he was alone the whole time" to which the exec responds "except for the newts".
Fast forward to S5 E6 "Free Churro", in which the camera does not include anybody in the frame except for Bojack, as he gives his eulogy about his relationship with his mother. In other words, Bojack is completely alone for the whole episode- until the final frames of the episode, in which the camera flips, revealing Bojack gave his eulogy to the wrong audience. The members of the audience? Newts. Bojack was alone the whole time- except for the newts.
So we live in a fairly small upper flat and have two kids. It was about 1 a.m. both kids had been asleep for the night and my wife and I got started hiding Easter Eggs and baskets. When all this was finished up, I started feeling a bit frisky, but one of the kids was asleep on our bed. So we decieded to have a quicky right on the living room floor. At some point during the act, I look up at our hallway and there is my seven year old daughter, groggy and just staring at us. My wife and I both disconnected covered up with blankets and started laughing. I instantly just blurted out to my daughter "we just woke up too, looks like the Easter Bunny has been here better get back to bed!" My daughter sleep walks a lot, and never remembers anything about waking up in the middle of the night, so I was sure she had no clue what just happened. Well, we're video chatting with my mom this morning and she asked my daughter if she got to bed on time (or else the bunny doesn't show up I guess) and if s... keep reading on reddit ➡
As the title says, it's been 68 weeks since Adventure Sync eggs were last updated (18 February, 2019). Here's the link to the Silph Road article from that update. For context, Palkia was in raids when it happened, and Gible hadn't been released yet.
For those not familiar with the AS eggs, there is a 5km egg reward from walking 25km and a 10km egg reward from walking 50km, and each egg has a pool of 6 potential Pokemon with equal hatch chances.
The 5km egg can have Bronzor, Snover, Finneon, Combee, Buizel, and Croagunk. Those are all somewhat common Sinnoh Pokemon, and most have been featured in some events (including the recent Sinnoh week). The most meta relevant would likely be Toxicroak for PvP.
The 10km egg can have Dratini, Larvitar, Bagon, Beldum, Shinx, and Riolu. Those are all rarer Pokemon that range from Generation I through IV. The first four are pseudo legendaries, and have all been featured in Commun... keep reading on reddit ➡
