Though other mercenary races laugh at their lack of βnatural weaponsβ they are amazed/horrified by humanityβs millennia of combat and invention of various tactics and weaponry and βsuicidalβ determination.
Whether it be holding out for months on end in trenches, spending years as guerrillas or even charging into projectile fire.
They also ride mass produced and customizable mini-mecha into combat which to a degree helps them compete with the larger mercenary races
I was playing Kotor II and watching the Bad Batch the other day and I started wondering if Saw Guerrara or your just your average person on Onderron would know about the Civil War between Queen Talia and General Vaklu. This raises the more broad question of how good history education is in the galaxy?
The events of Kotor happened 4'000 years before the Battle of Yavin. Would there even be any records? For reference in our history it's thought that the last woolly mammoth died and humans first tamed horses 4'000 years ago. We know of some civilizations that existed during the period like the first Chinese Dynasty and the Indus River Valley Civilization. But we don't know a lot about the events of that early period. The Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War were galactic scale events and there are institutions like the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Order that we would assume keep thorough historical records. But for the average person living in the galaxy, let's say in the core worlds or the mid rim since people in the outer rim probably have less access to education, how much would they know of the history of the galaxy or their planet? Let's assume these people are living during the prequel trilogy to give them the best chance. Fascist Empire's tend not to educate the masses in history.
hello, I was thinking to get a s7 for my college, and I was wondering how much would it cost me after the discount was placed, my budget is between 400-500$, so I'm looking for options. could I get the s7 or the s7+ for under 500? I don't mind lesser storage like 128. also do they come with tips, I used to use the s6 lite and I didn't get tips with them.
I was thinking about how aside from an episode of Cline Wars where some kids were being poisoned by space soda, we donβt really see primary education facilities in the Star Wars universe. Most children we see depicted are either training to become Jedi or homeless/being exploited for labor. In the time of the Empire this makes sense, as I feel like Palpatine wouldnβt want the public to be able to think for themselves. If you wanted an education, the Imperial academies were probably the only place to get one. But when the Republic was in power, what was their school system like? Did it extend to areas like the Outer Rim? Did Anakin Skywalker learn how to read as a slave? Did Luke, a farm boy on a desert planet, know how to read when he first began his journey?
