Kanye West is a famous bipolar rapper, known for supporting Trump, insulting George Bush, and living in a Fallout-esque vault in rural Wyoming. He's just declared that he's running in 2020 and has just received Elon Musk's endorsement.
/r/Kanye has mixed reactions to this. With some users stating that they'd vote for him over Biden. Others state it's a Republican plot to split the Democratic vote and hand Trump the election.
Reactions in /r/Hiphopheads are generally negative. Though some users courageously point out that both Biden and Trump are bad. A few state that they'd vote for him, but are downvoted.
User speculates that Kanye has turned on Trump and is now trying to sp... keep reading on reddit ➡
" Hi all,
I’ve noticed a lot of criticism recently surrounding TSM from fans, journalists, and even peers, and it is valid. So I wanted to take the time to address some of these points, and also provide a short update.
I want to personally apologize to our community for how we’ve managed the communication of Dardoch’s transfer. My goal has always been about setting a good example for other esports organizations on how to treat players where we balance business interests while at the same time being fair to players. In this case, we did not live up to those standards. We will reflect on our mistakes and make the necessary changes to prevent this from happening again.
I’ve reached out to Josh to apologize personally, and TSM will be taking action to make sure he feels good about this situation and lands on his feet.
Dardoch and I discussed the unfortunate si... keep reading on reddit ➡
The following is V1lat's rather long Telegram post from three days ago (notably, before TobiWan got accused) on the topic of recent sexual assault allegations against multiple English-speaking talents, translated into English by me. Disclaimer: sexual assault isn't nearly as much of a sensitive issue in CIS countries as it is in the West, so this might've contributed to his tone and attitide. If you disagree, I just ask you to remain polite and not to shoot the messenger.
Over the weekend there's been a multitude of Twitter posts related to sexual assault in the Dota community at various events. It's great that this topic is being brought up - I understand how hard it is to go public with issues like this - but what's not so great is the sheer amount of these. It's awful that so many women were assaulted, but it's also awful that many of these posts were, frankly, exaggerated.
Sexual assault and sexism in general certainly exist in esports, and we should strive... keep reading on reddit ➡
There are a bunch of people who will gladly shit on others who watch mindless TV like Keeping Up With The Kardashians but then slop up the meaningless youtube Drama that certain creators farm.
It's all the same shit.
Lately this stuff has been blowing up and a lot of channels have been picking this up, the two notable ones being Keemstar and TheQuartering. While they will want to report on this and look like they are reporting justice or tweeted something to look like "the good guy" I just want to put this out
Channels like yours have promoted a toxic environment in gaming for women, people of color, lgbtq+, and victims wanting to speak out. Because of the content you make many victims have faced unwarranted abuse due to the toxic rhetoric you guys spread. You are part of the problem in gaming as well, and its sad you try and take the moral high ground now.
These channels aren't going to change, but to you guys I ask please don't give them the attention or the views.
Traffic stats haven’t gone up by anything besides 200ish unique viewers in the past 48 hours. Online users hasn’t skyrocketed like we’ve seen in the past. The amount of shitposts has gone up but that’s by pre-existing members. You guys are just fueling your own hysteria and causing the very thing you want to prevent. Grow up.
That is all.
Also, banning all tiktoks from the sub which is what we did over at /r/FashionReps to preserve the quality of the community. 🤗
1.) Stupid leads!! Whatever the situation, they just manage to make it worse! Making it devastatingly difficult to watch the drama. Yuck!
2.) BaD ChEMiStrY (don't even get me started on this one...)
3.) Miscommunication between the leads that leads to misunderstandings which they could've just easily cleared up by talking to each other. rolls eyes
Our story starts off fairly innocuously. An animal podcast asks its listeners, "What is the most overhyped animal?"
Clearly a set-up for some tongue-in-cheek debate, right? The editor-in-chief of some academic biology journal responds accordingly: "C. elegans. They wiggle forward. They wiggle backwards. And occasionally they fuck themselves. That’s it."
And then all hell breaks loose. Worm scientists are absolutely booty-blasted, threatening to withdraw submissions from said journal. That's right, joking about worms is institutional discrimination, baby. Oh, and also incredibly sexist and racist. Last year, 3 members of the gaming youtube network Yogscast left the network after accusations of sexual misconduct, with many fans at the time expressing sadness at one member in particular leaving (he was one of the biggest content creators in the network, and the details of his misconduct were never disclosed fully).
Recently, there have been multiple allegations of similar misconduct in the youtube gaming community, and after one member of the yogscast was accused of supporting sexual misconduct when her friends were accused, she revealed that she and another member of the yogscast network were sexually harassed by two of the fired employees from last year.

For some background, Bon Appétit’s longtime Editor-in-Chief Adam Rapoport resigned yesterday after a photo of him in brownface surfaced. That's really just the tip of the iceberg--the majority of the iceberg being Bon Appétit’s long-standing problems with hiring and equitably paying people of color. Former employees have stepped up to talk about their experiences with the white leadership, and Bon Appétit’s not looking so good. Because BA is beloved by r/cooking, the sub has been having quite a reaction. Disclaimer, I have a comment in there somewhere but I'm not involved in the drama.

Hi, can anyone further explain this drama? is this accurate?
I don't know all the ins and outs of this, but I heard there was some controversy .. how did this unfold ?
This is a very poor reason to reject Marxism as it clearly rests on a straw man of Marx's views, which were explicitly about the material conditions, not ones attitude toward them. From what you wrote, it seems like you had a pretty superficial view of Marxism.
So you stopped identifying as a Marxist because you never actually understood it in the first place. Good work. I love being preached to about prosperity and the laziness of envious Marxists from someone who can't even put in the effort to some basic research.

Karma-saving disclaimer: If you don't like playing the rules as written, that's fine. Your table, your rules. I'm just saying it's a useful tool to avoid drama. Read on for advise that you could still find helpful as I've included tips for people who don't like RAW. Thanks!
I think we can all agree that, besides the occasional problem player, the biggest cause of group drama is when player expectations are not met.
A session zero is vital to establishing realistic expectations, and a pre-campaign non-binding one-shot can and should still be played to make sure there's good chemistry and similar play styles before getting invested in a long campaign. This is all pretty much common knowledge at this point.
But there's one detail that doesn't get enough attention in my humble opinion: following the rules as written. I'm talking cover-to-cover Player's Handbook, and cover-to-cover DMG for the DM. The books go through great pains to guide players beyond just how to fight monsters. An... keep reading on reddit ➡
Full disclosure, Ive posted a couple times in some of the threads since I participate routinely in /r/DotA2 (over 101k comment karma :/ from the dota2 subreddit) Ill try to keep the thread updated and Ill refrain from participating in threads further.
Dota2 is a game, based off the original game that inspired a whole host of other games such as League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, etc. This game is heavily established, we are talking of over a decade of competition and history spanning back to Dota1 days in WC3 and like many other competitive games, it suffers from a massive gender disparity in player base as well as toxic community. One aspect unfortunately is sexual harassment and what how ass backwards the community can be to females in the scene be it casually (someone uses the mic in game and reveals they are female) all the way to the most professional side of things (the talent (analysts, casters, guests), players, hosts, etc.) A lot of this happens on Twitter, but Il... keep reading on reddit ➡
I started dating a guy about 7 months ago. He told me he was in the process of getting divorced, and separated from his wife. Long story short, I found out he never actually got separated, and what he was doing would be considered cheating on his wife. I noticed he never invited me over to his place, we only hung out at my place, and when I inquired he said his apartment was depressing. Typical cheating stuff.
I ended things when I found this out.
He constantly complained to me that he's clinically depressed, and that he made a horrible mistake not being honest, etc. I stupidly (I know this was stupid) told him if he wanted to be with me he'd have to figure out his situation beforehand. He tells me he told his wife they were done and was going through the process and already filed for divorce, moved out etc.. So I met up with him again, and followed him after we left. He went back to his normal house, where his wife's car was still parked outside. I'm 100% sure at this point that hi... keep reading on reddit ➡
Basically you watch an episode or two then think it is not your cup of tea, but want to keep watching hoping that it would improve but now you're on episode 5 out of 16 and still give it hope and now on episode 9 and the feelings for the show have yet to change and you think you might as well finish it up since you're so close or drop it BUT have that annoying thought in your head pester at you saying "You're missing something special, this drama is highly rated! People praise it! Saying it's one of the best of its genre! Yes, the SRD mods kept deleting posts about this. We mods are also under an obligation not to allow our subreddits to participate in witchhunts or to link people's personal information/dox, and every thread about this drama is full of people's dox. We have no way of knowing whether or not the accusations are true, but in order for you and us to stay in line with reddit's terms of service, please do not vote in the linked threads, comment in the linked threads, message anyone involved, try to find the real name of the man in the video, post his information, call his employers, etc. Basically if you're trying to "spread the word" or get justice for something, don't do it. It made me so happy and excited that my parents were enjoying something. My father even pulled an all-nighter! Personally, it's not my taste so don't know much stuff similar to it.

I'm just imagining a board meeting at reddit HQ where Spez stops midway through some presentation about which subs they're gonna censor this week because his phone gave him a notification that the latest Lawlz^TM sticky is up. He then immediately opens it up on the big presentation monitor for everyone to read.
"God, this MasterLawlz guy is such a fucking Chad," they say. "Do you think the thing with him and Phedre is real or just a meme? Lord, the things I would do to him if he were single," the women mutter to themselves.
Maybe my stickies are the only things keeping the admins from banning this sub into oblivion. I know I’m not this show’s demographic, but I ended up feeling kinda disturbed by the message it had for young girls. The message I got out of it is “Girls, he won’t love you if you don’t change yourself for him”. That...it’s just a very unsettling message for this generation of girls to be honest.
The main character had two choices in men: Somebody that loved her for her and appreciated their friendship together. And another person who treated her like garbage because she was deemed “ugly” by society. She chose to change herself and settle with garbage than to accept herself and be with someone who truly loved her for her. I don’t understand why this drama was popular when it has this kind of message.
Edit: The downvotes I’ve gotten in the comment section for just explaining what I saw on the show is... dang. You guys asked me for examples of why I think this way and then when I tell you...Bam! Downvoted. Why am I getting downvoted for answering your questions XD.... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hello, world. It's been a while, but I still feel all the good feelings when I think about Hospital Playlist.
If I were to describe this k-drama using one word, it would be this: warm. It just makes me feel so warm inside, and the world (though still addled with so much pain and fraught with countless challenges, especially this start of the new decade) seems so much brighter—like it's a much better place than it was just a moment before.
It's touching. Comforting. Like a mug brimful of hot coffee on a cold day. Like the AC in front of you when it's scorching. Like the unwavering hug of a close friend or loved one when life knocks you down. So, so beautiful. It's a show that truly resonates with you.

Perhaps I'm alone in this, but I'm really uncomfortable with this subreddit--one of my favorites since the very beginning--having posts about people being outed as sexual predators. I come here for largely low-stakes drama, not sexual assault.
The description of r/HobbyDrama is "the most interesting subreddit about things you're not interested in." Sexual assault/harassment/coercion isn't "interesting." It's serious. It's horrible. It's often life-ruining. To me, it just doesn't belong here.
Edit: A lot of people are suggesting a flair so I can avoid those posts. They're missing the point. The point isn't that I don't like posts about sex abuse. The point is that they're not drama, and it's fundamentally wrong to have them here.
Imagine if b*den or kanye wins the election, drump cries deep state and refuses to give up office while q calls the boomers out into the streets to protect their rights and liberty against the deep state. I get a chub just by thinking about it.
Also why is kanye's name still allowed in the sub 🤨? Do you j*nnies not consider him a legitimate candidate? If i didn't know any better i'd think you guys have something against Black people 🤔
I went back to this guy's house, he was decent looking and I thought he knew how to treat a girl right. Then all the red flags start popping up. He didn't put on netflix or disneyplus. And he had this big computer, like not a laptop and actual computer with the big box like you get at libraries or whatever. He tries to plug it up to the tv and play some "flacs" or something.
Yyyyeah, I got out of there fast. Called up his work the next day and got him fired.
