A comment I saw on a Facebook article about Rushi Sunak and his swindling wife

"Just a reminder that Rishi Sunak MP, the man in charge of that self serving nose in the trough English executives purse strings and perhaps the strongest voice insisting that the extra £20 a week to those on Universal Credit must be cut, is one of the richest men in this disunited kingdom.

Sunak's wife, Akshata Murty, is the daughter of a Billionaire. She owns shares worth £430M in her father's company alone, meaning she has more money than the Queen, albeit she gets her money from you, the tax payer.

Sunak himself, is a former hedge fund manager and Goldmann Sachs banker who attended the elite boarding school of Winchester College.

Today it costs £41,709 to send a child there for one year 😳

Sunak's property holdings span several continents, and just one of his homes in London alone is worth £7M.

This is the man holding down the minimum wage and refusing to properly pay our key workers.

The people making these decisions don't have the faintest idea what life is like without the saftey blanket of financial security.

They are NOT on your side! They’re just pretending that they are. Their money will dwindle down through the next generations of their family over many centuries, whereas the reality of the working man is to put away £1.50 per week to help their children afford a funeral for them."

The three main alien species to contact humanity, and their psychologic/societal differences from humanity. (Looking for questions/comments/feedback.)

By the 25th century multiple forms of alien life have been contacted by humanity. And three have sent generational ships to the solar system, allowing for real time alien to human interaction. Though due to humanity being so disunited, it's hard for many of these aliens to be directly interacted with.

The first species to visit humanity were the Desdan. Such creatures were eusocial, living similarly to hive insects. This didn't mean they lacked the capacity for individual thought, but simply that they prioritized the function of their hive over their own lives. Desdan will gladly suffer for years in a mine or on a battlefield, satisfied knowing that their hive will be helped by what they've done. As a species with no individual ambition, they rarely advance, with the majority of their populace working for the whole they rarely innovate or invent, despite building massive starships they don't have a lot of civilian technologies, with their standards of life being around that of early 20th century humanity. Desdan society is interestingly something that humans can't fully replicate; religious communes may be the closest human comparison, though that is not really a good analogy, as to work for their kin is simply in the nature of Desdan. Desdan don't even truly have laws the same way humans do, the closest they have being the "thinker" caste who often act as leaders to set forth policy, but the Desdan just obey them naturally. The Desdan do have "kings" but such creatures aren't even truly sentient, the kings only serving to produce the next generation of Desdan.

The second to come were the Carcen, who likely came worried that the Desdan would attack human planets. The Carcen are an incredibly ancient species, though their technology doesn't fully match such claims its said that the Carcen were building skyscrapers long before humans had built pyramids. The Carcen tend to be highly ambitious, caring a lot about personal legacy and how they will be remembered, often working towards a field and fully dedicating themselves to their chosen ambition. They tend to care a lot about symbols and abstract ideas, obsessing over the meaning of philosophies and ideologies, and favoring such things far more then they care about any type of practical reality, possibly causing them to innovate a lot less than humans. They have interacted with humans a lot, and are said to seem quite cryptic and mysterious, but oftentimes completely irrational, though they do have an af

Initial grogginess evaporated within the span of a single minute as neural cybernetics stimulated a flood of neurotransmitters to wake her up. Her eyes met the cold steel grey of the ceiling. She tilted her head to observe the rest of what were her temporary living arrangements. Darker Greys and blues dominated the colour spectrum, covering the walls and accenting frames. The design was simple, Spartan, which clashed horribly with the wooden desk and chair; which to the Gearshilde’s surprise earlier that night was not synthetic. Pulling off the sheets that surrounded her, Advance stood up and stretched her muscles. Or more accurately, her few non-synthetic muscles.

With wake up handled, the next things on the agenda were clothing and breakfast. The Gearshilde reckoned the rest of the day would go smoother if she handled the latter first. Scarcely a minute after she had risen from unconsciousness, the cyborg was striding across the room to her duffle bag.

Even though she had been given accommodation with shelving, Advance did not think it would be prudent to pack away her things so quickly; she didn’t think her time in this room would last long at all. Her brief stint wal

The Sissy Question - An essay in five parts.

Questions surrounding the sissy kink have graced online spaces frequented by trans women for years. Here on r/MtF, in particular, saw an uptick in sissy related questions not too long ago which has prompted me to write this. These posts are most commonly one of two types, either a post deriding the sissy community for one reason or another or a current sissy asking why the sudden uptick in hatred for sissies is occuring. This is a discussion on these types of posts to try prevent new ones from popping up constantly and to discuss the effect they have on the current and future trans feminine community.

Part Zero: An Admittance of Bias

I identified as a sissy for over two years. During this time, I used the kink as a private outlet for my gender dysphoria while simultaneously presenting as a cis man in my life outside of my private bedroom sessions. Due to this prior affiliation, even after reclaiming my womanhood, I maintain a friendly attitude towards the sissy community that is uncommon in trans feminine spaces. I will go more into why I maintain this attitude later in this discussion, but I wanted to be upfront about my past to prevent any potential readers from feeling blindsided.

Part One: What is a Sissy

A sissy is primarily a person who views themself as a cis man who enjoys the idea of being feminized and degraded for that feminization in sexual contexts. Sometimes the degradation is based around the idea of “failed masculinity”, while other times it will be based around “the inherent difference of women in society” aka using the misogyny and heteronormativity they have been taught throughout their entire life to validate their gurlhood. Notice how I spelled gurl there. For most sissies, there is a clear line drawn between women and the most female approaching form they can achieve. Being a “real woman” is the supreme, but ultimately impossible in their mind, goal.

A large part of the sissy community do actively crossdress during sexual activities, both alone and with a partner (or partners). Some sissies have even been known to take diy HRT to try to, as Torrey Peters puts it so eloquently in ‘The Masker’, “sand off their masculine edges and lessen secondary sex attributes” and become closer to the female goal. The duration and strength of this HRT regimen will vary on the basis of multiple factors, including availability, desired effects, and emotional response to being on feminizing hormones. Remember that, after all, a sissy when not in an

I wake up, slowly regaining consciousness. I feel a furry presence beside me, and a weight around my back. Something is breathing on my face.

Groggily, I open my eyes, and am greeted by the sleeping face of Zaily. I’m being held by her like I’m a teddy bear.

A small smile spreads on my face. I think I’ve finally come to accept her as a partner. Her constant affections really have made me fall head over heels for her. It’s honestly just really endearing. Yesterday really showed me that fact. Although I still dread what is to come, at least I have people to find my way through the storm with.

Perhaps sensing my movement, she also gradually starts to wake up. She blinks the sleep out of her eyes, and they land on me. She returns the smile I was giving her.

"Good morning."

She adopts a confused expression for a few moments, but it quickly morphs back into playfulness.

"Good... morning? What makes this morning better than the others?" She asks.

"The lovely face I woke up to."

She scoffs and shakes her head, while ruffling my hair. Suddenly she turns me around so that I was facing away from her, and starts to groom my hair.

"Hey... Hey! Ugh... gross. I can clean myself!" I protest futilely. Zaily isn't deterred, and continues on. Once she's finished, she finally addresses me.

"I know, but I want my scent to be on you." She says, and hugs me against herself tighter. I just sigh. It doesn't look like she is going to let me go anytime soon.

I eventually succumb to the warmth her body was radiating, and I gradually fall back into a blissful sleep.

The door to the common room opens. I step through and survey the area. Looks like this has become the new hangout area. Guess it makes sense. A quick look outside shows that we were still in... Warp? Jump? Whatever. The translator is just trying to get me to understand things. The eggheads back on Earth can refine the terminology when there is time.

Neither Jera or Sory were in the room at the moment. There were a few Pouja hanging out on the cushions and mattresses, a few of them sleeping in those piles they like so much. I spot Jason, Boris, and Sammy sitting at the table, and once they see me, they wave me over.

[Secret] The club of the unpopular.

The club of the unpopular.

December, 2022 -- Ankara, Turkey;

> There are two Mustafa Kemal's. One is the flesh-and-bone Mustafa Kemal who now stands before you and who will pass away. The other is you, all of you here who will go to the far corners of our land to spread the ideals which must be defended with your lives if necessary. I stand for the nation's dreams, and my life's work is to make them come true.

-Mustafa Kemal-Atatürk

What is a nation without ideals, a nation without its people behind a certain man to guide them through the hardships and difficult times of being a member of something greater than yourself - greater than anything you could dream of. No nation is built without the sacrifice of its ancestors. Those who have fought and have given away their right to a pleasant life so that thousands and thousands of their descendants may now live in harmony, in a nation that has granted so much since their departure from this mortal plane.

Our nation is no different. A nation built upon the foundations of the thousands of people that have sacrificed their lives, all under the guise of the Sultans that have led our nation to glory. A Turkish state for all Turks to live under, prosperous and free. The Republic of Turkey has explored many avenues of governance; a nation of thinly connected tribes, a somewhat centralized Empire, a state on the verge of collapse, and a glorious Republic.

A Republic seems most fitting for the multicultural identity of Turkey. Sat at the crossroads between East and West, Europe and Asia - Europe and the Middle East. The specific geographical position has allowed Turkey to enjoy quite the influence in the area and over European politics overall. And it was the "Father of Turks" who guided our nation through such turbulent times, the Father we all needed to lead a fractured and disunited Turkey.

As the Sultans of the old came and went, the Sultan of today must also go. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has shown that he is nothing more than a tyrant who wishes to control every single aspect of the day-to-day life of a Turk; from what he eats, to his visit to the mosque, to when he sleeps. Erdoğan has shown that he has no mercy towards those who oppose him. It may be a couple of ministers now, but soon enough, he will have his sights set on the opposition and then thos

Extirpation

Saer looked at the battle report on a large holographic screen. Four dots - all that remained of the hastily assembled Ervoren Defense Fleet. Behind them, behind those four dots, laid his homeworld and the homeworld of all Ervoren.

The rest of the fleet had been obliterated, destroyed or (in the grand words of the Holy Reclaimers) extirpated. Nothing remained and soon, Ervoria would be gone too. His blue-green-purple planet, with tall trees and beautiful meadows, all gone soon.

And why? Just because an ambassador unwittingly insulted a Holy Reclaimer priest. Except that no one did such a thing. The Ervoren didn't have diplomatic corps. They didn't need them. There was no ambassador and never have been.

Saer had been on this ship, The Promise, when the message from the Reclaimer came via ansible feed. It wasn't even for the Ervoren, but for the rest of the Reclaimer occupied Galaxy.

"The High Ones, the Protectors Against the Unholy Void, the Stewards of the Galaxy, have decided, in their grand wisdom, that the Ervoren race is dangerous to all life. We have ordered our military arm, the humans, to extirpate them."

At that point, the Ervoren were merely weeks old in the Galactic community and they have been nothing but helpful, eagerly engaging in talks with their stellar neighbors and the higher-ups of the Reclaimers. But somewhere along the line, the Holy Reclaimers simply said 'you die' and send their guard dogs to do the dirty job.

The message came with a shut-out from all Galactic affairs. No one wanted to associate with Ervoren out of fear that they would be next.

Saer looked at the screen, changing it to video feed.

He saw the black ships of the humans, abhorrent in their design. They were not meant to go into atmosphere, instead being blocky, an agglutinate mess of bent metal with broadsides filled with weapons, railguns along every axis and enough PDCs to shred an approaching asteroid with ease.

The ships were closing in.

"Admiral Saer, what do we do?"

Saer gazed at the holographic display, the feed showing the face of Captain Trilla. Her words looked afraid. She did not want to know what to do, she wanted him to tell her that everything would be alright.

"We leave a message. Our ships are still standing, Captain." Saer's words must've looked stupidly brave, thinking he could still talk to the humans.

No one knew what they looked like. No one knew where their homeworld was. No one knew why the Reclaimers were using them to wage genocid

Was Texas v. White (1869) a legal ruling?

This is kind of a multiple part question

I've seen some claims that Texas v. White was technically an illegal case due to the fact that Texas was not a state in 1869, and the evidence used is that Texas did not have representation in Congress and was barred from voting in the 1868 election.

Also, why did Salmon P. Chase change his mind about the Constitutionality of secession? In Texas v. White he states:

>But the perpetuity and indissolubility of the Union by no means implies the loss of distinct and individual existence, or of right of self-government by the States. On the contrary, it may not be unreasonably said, that the preservation of the States, and the maintenance of their governments, are as much within the design and care of the Constitution, as the preservation of the Union and the maintenance of the National government. The Constitution, in all it's provisions, looks to an indestructible Union, composed of indestructible States.

Then in 1867 he stated:

>If you bring these leaders to trial, it will condemn the North, for by the Constitution, secession is not rebellion.

And in Lane County v. Oregon (1868) he states:

>The people of the United States constitute one nation, under one government, and this government, within the scope of the powers with which it is invested, is supreme. On the other hand, the people of each state compose a State, having it's own government, and endowed with all the functions essential to seperate and independent existence. The States disunited might continue to exist. Without the states in union there could be no such political body as the United States.

It seems as though he believed here that the states could exist "indestructibly" outside of the Union.

Did Chase change his mind about the Constitutionality of secession? Or am I misinterpreting these cases and his opinions?

I apologize if this has been answered before, but I tried looking and wasn't able to find anything regarding specifically these points.

Lenin: On the National Pride of the Great Russians

https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1914/dec/12a.htm

Reminder that this is why Putin began his imperialist invasion of Ukraine with a speech directly attacking the legacy of Lenin.

On the National Pride of the Great Russians

"What a lot of talk, argument and vociferation there is nowadays about nationality and the fatherland! Liberal and radical cabinet ministers in Britain, a host of “forward-looking” journalists in France (who have proved in full agreement with their reactionary colleagues), and a swarm of official Cadet and progressive scribblers in Russia (including several Narodniks and “Marxists”)—all have effusive praise for the liberty and independence of their respective countries, the grandeur of the principle of national independence. Here one cannot tell where the venal eulogist of the butcher Nicholas Romanov[1] or of the brutal oppressors of [n-words] and Indians ends, and where the common philistine begins, who from sheer stupidity or spinelessness drifts with the streams, begins. Nor is that distinction important. We see before us an extensive and very deep ideological trend, whose origins are closely interwoven with the interests of the landowners and the capitalists of the dominant nations. Scores and hundreds of millions are being spent every year for the propaganda of ideas advantageous to those classes: it is a pretty big mill-race that takes its waters from all sources—from Menshikov, a chauvinist by conviction, to chauvinists for reason of opportunism or spinelessness such as Plekhanov and Maslov, Rubanovich and Smirnov, Kropotkin and Burtsev.

Let us, Great-Russian Social-Democrats, also try to define our attitude to this ideological trend. It would be unseemly for us, representatives of a dominant nation in the far east of Europe and a goodly part of Asia, to forget the immense significance of the national question—**especially in a country which has been rightly called the “prison of the peoples”, and particularly at a time when, in the far east of Europe and in Asia, capitalism is awakening to life and self-consciousness a number of #new” nations, large and small; at a moment when the tsarist monarchy has called up millions of Great Russians and non-Russians, so as to “solve” a number of national problems in accordance with the interests of the Council of the United Nob

Mysteries from the Early History of Hyrule Kingdom

The early period of Hyrule’s history, after the Skyloftians returned to the Surface, is full of mystery. It’s a period I want to explore further. I’ve written about some of these things before, here and here, but I just completed the Spirit Temple in my latest play through of OoT and I have some thoughts. Please note that since we have so little information, it means that I will have to speculate more than usual in this post. I will try to use evidence where I can, but much of this is also based on what I think makes the most sense based on the little information we have.

The United Tribes of Hyrule

In OoT, the game starts shortly after a long period of war. The King of Hyrule has succeeded in uniting the land, and even the king of the Gerudo has come to swear his allegiance. Allegedly.

However, throughout the game there are indications that the various tribes of Hyrule at one time in the distant past were all allies. The most obvious evidence is the Kokiri, Gorons, and Zora having the Spiritual Stones. Keys to the Temple of Time, where the Royal Family hides it’s greatest treasure.

The Gerudo do not have a Spiritual Stone, and nearly everyone has a low opinion of them in the modern day, calling them thieves. But there’s also evidence of the Gerudo being allies with the other tribes of Hyrule in the distant past.

Inside The Great Deku Tree, Dodongo’s Cavern, and the five Elemental Temples of Hyrule we find the Crest of the Gerudo. It’s found on floor switches, blocks, crystal switches, and other mechanisms in ALL OF THEM. I cannot emphasise this enough. The Crest of the Gerudo would not be in the sacred places of these other tribes if they had always been enemies. In the construction of these temples and places, the Gerudo helped along with the other tribes. This is something that must be reconciled in

Warhammer 40,000 is a setting, not a story. "Advancing the Warhammer 40,000 story" is a misunderstanding of what 40k is, and inevitably results in altering the essence of the setting.

Warhammer 40,000 is a setting. It is a world, a universe, or an environment in which the various events of the "grimdark future" take place. It is a time and place, with defined boundaries, conventions, and norms, and the various characters and agents undertake actions within it. It is the stage upon which numerous dramas are enacted - where heroes rise and fall, where armies clash, and where ideological groups vie for supremacy in endless conflict.

Warhammer 40,000 is not a story; it is a universe which contains and facilitates stories. It is the world in which stories happen, not the story itself. A theatre is not a play, and a universe is not a story. 40k - as a setting - informs the stories which take place within it, but is not overall moved by them. No matter the conflicts that happen, or the stories that resolve, the status quo of 40k remains fundamentally unchanged:

  • The Imperium is a stagnant monolith which echoes former glory.
  • The ancient Eldar cling to the remnants of their advanced civilisation.
  • The Tau are vibrant upstarts facing an uncertain future.
  • Chaos is a nightmare constantly on the verge of becoming real.
  • The Orks are an anarchic force of nature.
  • The Necrons are the sleeping giant which begins to wake.
  • The Tyranids are the encroaching tempest which is just starting to be felt.

This is the stage against which every 40k story is set. All events which happened prior Warhammer 40,000's "present day" serve to inform the setting as it has always existed. The War in Heaven, the Fall of the Eldar, the Horus Heresy, the Spheres of Expansion, the Age of Apostasy, the Black Crusades, the Badab Wars... all of these events are contributors to the nature of 40k as we understand it. They do not alter the setting, but form and strengthen the foundations of it.

Prior to the end of 7th Edition, a lot of impetuous 40k fans were clamouring for Games Workshop to "add to the 40k story" - to push Warhammer 40,000 out of M41, to see the conclusion of the 13th Black Crusade, and so on. While i can understand this desire - we all love "more Warhammer" - i believe that it was fundamentally misguided.
The core essence of "What Makes 40k" is that everything is poised at "One Minute to Midnight" - Chaos is on the verge of gaining a foothold in realspace, the Necrons begin to awaken, the lost Primarchs may soon return, the Golden Throne is failing, the Orks stand to unify into the strongest Waaagh! ever, Ynnead threatens to awaken and defeat

Political Literacy of people in Nepal

I had said this before, and I am going to say this again. Communism in Nepal has been nothing more than a hay fire that really blew up only because of solvent agents that aided it, examples could be lack of education and poverty, both physical and mental alike. Communism is a phase that strikes a country when it is going through a disparity of wealth situation that evolves due to exploited late stage capitalism. Mostly has been a negotiating tool for the day to day wage workers that are exploited by the factory owners, or people that control the means of production. Excellent in bringing about equality after a country has gone through its industrial age. In Nepal's case however, we had not even really begun to enter the industrial age when communism struck. There on, more industries have been closed rather than built, means of production has only been shrinking and foreign dependency is at an unprecedented level. There on, they have not done an inch of work they promised and it has only been a tool to keep their people at check during elections. I have heard people say us Nepalese get involved in politics, too much, too often, too easily. See the turnout of people on the streets when anything minor happens and you would have to agree with them. Not necessarily a bad thing either, its just that, I think we have too much revolution within us, all against our own selves and it is about time we turn the page and start looking at the right sort of politics. Political propaganda's created by various political parties that work on disuniting people in the name of foreign agents, have been at play in Nepal for far too long. And I really wouldn't argue the fact that anything from School education to the advertisement you see on the television is propaganda, since it alters or persuades your mind into believing something. Whats education to me, might be propaganda to you, its up-to you to decide if the information you intake is beneficial or harmful to self.

Due to circumstances that have been going on in the world today, Nepal does need to turn the page over and start a new chapter. People need to be reunited for their own good and taught how to see beyond their political parties, which have started looking more like clans these days. The leaders have too much leverage over their people, MCC was a very good example. Leaders that initially signed the agreement later went on to criticize it to create chaos because they weren't getting what was initially promised t

Why do some languages split up more than others?

Lately I've been reading about ancient Roman history, and I find the diversity of cultures and languages in the Italian peninsula really interesting. However I was wondering why the Italic languages had split into so many different languages while Greek mostly stayed as one mutually-intelligible language (with lots of different dialects).

The geography is similar in that both regions are very mountainous and surrounded by coastlines, and politically both were disunited regions with lots of independent city-states that often warred with each other. I've never gotten the impression that the ancient Greeks struggled too much with each other's dialects; poets seemed to use different dialects for different effects and plays often included characters with different accents to match their city-states. The only dialect I've heard of that strained intelligibility to any significant extent was Aeolic, but even then I've never seen this been characterised as a separate language to say Attic Greek or Doric Greek (and Sappho's fame across the Greek world presumably means her poetry was understandable, even if it was difficult).

Whereas in Italy other Italic languages like Oscan or Umbrian seem to be different languages entirely to Latin. Is there any particular reason why the situation in Greece wasn't broadly similar to that of Italy? Or am I mistaken regarding the diversity of Italic languages at the time (in other words, were other Italic languages actually mutually intelligible with Latin)?

This also makes me wonder about Germanic and Slavic languages, which seemed to break up later than others. What exactly sustains language unity in a pre-modern era where presumably settlements are much more isolated?

Climate: Four different seasons are found in the country with warm and dry summers and moderately cold and snowy winters. The range of temperatures recorded throughout the year ranges from −20 °C (−4 °F) in winter, to 40 °C (104 °F) in summer. Low winter temperatures are influenced by winds from the north while heat seasons during summer arise due to the subtropical pressure of the Aegean Sea and climate influences from the Middle East, with the latter causing dry periods. There are three main climatic zones in the country: mildly continental in the north, temperate Mediterranean in the south and mountainous in the zones with high altitude. Along the valleys of the Vardar and Strumica rivers, in the regions of Gevgelija, Valandovo, Dojran, Strumica, and Radoviš, the climate is temperate Mediterranean. The warmest regions are Demir Kapija and Gevgelija, where the temperature in July and August frequently exceeds 40 °C (104 °F). Average annual precipitation varies from 1,700 mm (66.9 in) in the western mountainous area to 500 mm (19.7 in) in the eastern area.

While larger groups like a Ba-Dao-Dok and Ma-Gi-Yar moved through the plateau quickly enough en route to the east, smaller numbers of the newcomers remained, and quickly set about carving up this new land among themselves, fighting one another and the local population.

Many of these locals were forced to move back towards the mountains, sheltering on the slopes of great peaks like Lojzhe, Kanychyngjega, Tsĭgochgĭrmo, and others like them, where the terrain could be used to their advantage. Here, at least, they could defend from raids and conquest alike from an advantageous position. In time, the Uralic newcomers would come to rule much of the lowlands of the plateau, while the locals still managed to hang on in the mountains and highlands.

It would take some time before the chaos caused by the initial arrival of the Uralics died down, and a new status quo began to take shape. Uralic warlords started to ally with Tibetan tribes in an effort to earn passage through the various mountain passes of the region without a fight, and in the hopes of trading for food, and the Tibetans were more than happy to recruit the newcomers to raid their rivals the next mountain over.

In the centuries since the arrival of the Uralics on the plateau, these alliances of convenience have developed in some cases into fully-fledged tribal confederations, with long-term alliances existing between clan groups. Though conflict in the region has shifted away from being between Uralics and Tibetans, it's been readily replaced by conflicts between these nascent confederacies instead.

As it stands now, Mtho Chyargyong is still disunited as ever, albeit in a way that it hasn't been before. The new confederations are larger than their predecessors, and have ambitions beyond just surviving. The plateau is getting crowded, and battles for resources are becoming more c

Moderators Are A Bigger Problem Than Employers -Unionize/Fight Against Moderators First

I know this'll be a hard sell, but damn it if censorship online hasn't prevented us from working together.

We're constantly divided online by mods into these niche communities. Any "general" umbrella community we could all unite under, ends up censored and controlled to the point we can't do anything with it. And even the tinier communities, the ones supposedly "pro" free speech, censor just as much.

Sure we might find places that censor "in the right direction" whatever that means, but it leaves you with a dirty feeling things aren't right.

Mods stop unions from happening, because mods disunite users.

Wouldn't it make sense for users to unionize against mods? Wouldn't it make sense to work together to ensure mods are voted in by users, even if they're approved to an extent by the existing owner?

Users could do so much to protect themselves, if they'd just treat their online communications being censored or controlled by mods, like the serious issue it is.

As long as we're disunited and controlled in our communications by mods ILLEGITIMATELY put in power, which is the case as we didn't elect them... we will never have a truly organic movement.

If you cannot unite against those who censor you online, how on Earth do you expect to unite against those who stifle your wage?

It is common sense that if you can't even speak freely online in a routine commonplace fashion, if you cannot trust your average mod to be chosen by the users and to have genuine accountability to fear, you have 0 chance of gaining real power to snowball and use on employers.

We need accountability, via USER CONSENSUS, achieved through RANKED-CHOICE-CHOSEN moderators, that preserve USER RIGHTS to aspects such as user-elected mods, user unions, and above all free speech, to the extent that is reasonably possible.

Until this is achieved, your movement won't be organic, your mods influencing the movement won't be trustworthy, and you won't have a movement with demonstrative power when it can't even holds its own moderators in check, let alone preserve basic protections for its user members.

Without user consensus choosing moderators and moderation policies to the greatest reasonable extent possible, we have no legitimacy, let alone hope of tackling the employers which abuse their power.

The Great Empire || Ch 1: Takshashila Khanda || 1.11: Availing opportunities

“It was as if, in response to the relentless oppression against men’s lives and economy by wicked emperors, a voice had sounded from the heavens, and its words were: Neti Kautilyah!”

*****

This is part of a story I'm writing called The Great Empire, a fictionalized account of Kautilya's rise to power and the formation of the Mauryan empire. As it is a fictional work based on history whose precise details are not known or vary greatly between primary sources, many elements of the story may be jarring to readers familiar with modern, "medievalized" adaptations. See the Preface for a list of specific plot points that some readers may find offensive.

Eighteen months later, Thera received a communication from her brother.

Her heart sank to hear the messenger’s words, but such were the restrictions of being of a noble family. Thera had once criticized, during a lecture, the suffocating security measures that Chanakya had advocated for the king and royal family, to which he had replied that the nobles were, of course, free to live as ordinary peasants, abandoning both the comforts and responsibilities of noble life.

It was at midnight that she woke her Professor.

She hesitated, for it was always considered to do so (even though Chanakya had told her that falsehood was the only thing that caused offense at Taxila), yet the alternative would have been even less polite.

Addressing him respectfully as was typical for such social rituals, she told him of the message and of her departure.

Chanakya stared sharply in her eyes for a few seconds.

Then he asked: “What security concern to you could be more pronounced here in India than in Greece?”

Thera shrugged helplessly.

“How did you guess it is a security concern?” she asked.

“Do noble families in Greece typically send their children to hard labour, conscript them to fight in armies, marry them off or sell them to slavery? Are there any disasters about to hit Taxila that the Greeks are aware of? Have you engaged in any undignified behaviour since arriving at Taxila that your family may wish you to cease?”

Thera smiled a little – a less arrogant man would have thoug

[DIPLOMACY] Pro-Humanity Coalition Declaration No.1

With news coming out regarding additional geological instability regarding Paris, the PHC has come forth with its first declaration.

##DECLARATION #1: The Atlanteans are Responsible for Attacks on Paris

Atlantis, humanity's true enemy, are the ones attacking Paris through geological means. Their technologically advanced state is attempting to cause mass panic within the populace of the Alfr and is attacking one of the shining beacons of humanity's cultural progress. This likely would have been done using the Earth's Ley lines, which cross through the Atlantic and near Paris. These ley lines (more specifically the Micheal and Mary ley line and the Apollo and Athena ley line) are key for Atlantean attacks across the world, and allow the true enemy of humanity to move its assets across the world, in preparation for the attacks it does.

We call for Alfr to delve deeper into this issue, as the Atlanteans are likely to continue their geological attacks on the Alfr nation, especially if Paris was to fall completely. At the same time the PHC calls for the nations of the earth to keep an eye on geological and seismic activity, as it remains one of Atlantis' key avenues of attack against a disunited humanity.

[RESULT] God Worshipping Society Rebellion, Round 1

The idea of a disunited nation was not an uncommon thought for those who lived within the ever-changing borders of the wobbly Republic of China; the loyalty of the republican warlord cliques to Peking was often questionable at best, though there was usually a semblance of order from the thought process of personal gain which unified the hardheaded Chinese administrators and prevented any serious conflict. However, the recent decade has brought factors that Peking could never have expected; an unexpected treaty proposed by the liberalizing Japanese Empire; a sudden increase in religiosity amongst the Hui people of the west; and a general growth of discontentment along the Yellow River. Such stacking administrative problems for the buckling republic finally cumulated in a Muslim uprising and subsequent coup within the Howchow Government led by a particularly adept Mullah within the God Worshipping Society. Units across the Peking government were quickly mobilized to extinguish the Hui threat before it could reach the neighboring Shaanxi province, and units within the western provinces also mobilized, only this time under the banner of a unified Muslim nation.

Capture of Batou —

Eager Peking forces of the 1st NRA Division and Light Blade Division did not hesitate to begin crossing the paltry border shared between itself and the western provinces along the Yellow River, occupying small village after small village and ensuring dutifully that no dissidents lay in-between. It was not until the two army groups reached Ulansu Lake — a significant landform dividing the western provinces from the ‘civilized’ China — that a moment of respite was called for the groups to receive further, more detailed orders.

Capture of Wuzhong —

Similar to the Peking forces to the northeast, the 3rd NRA Division made their way enthusiastically from the various encampments across the eastern side of the Yellow River into the western province-claimed settlements, though their advance was cautioned beforehand to expect heavy resistance, none was present, and the Peking forces were allowed more time to plan their cautious but assertive advance through the Hui-majority portion of the Republic.

Battle for Xiaodao — [CW114]

While the 3rd NRA Division had no issue occupying the small border towns which stretched liberally across the Yellow River, the Peking Heavy Blade Division was met at a particularly disadvantageous point in their advance — stuck in a valley between tw

Curse of the Mistwraith Read-along Chapters 7 and 8

Welcome to the 4th part of our Curse of the Mistwraith read-along. Today we'll be diving into Chapters 7 and 8.

First of all, a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone celebrating. I hope you'll have a wonderful day.

As for our read-along,

- Let's begin our discussion by talking a bit about Lysaer. So much about him is revealed here. Not in the least through his attitude and feelings towards his new subjects. Did the new insight into his personality change your opinion of him or did it reinforce it?

- And how about Lady Maenalle and her people. How do you find them?

- We finally get to meet The Prime Enchantress. What do you think about her?

- And what about her order and their ways of judgement?

- We also get to know more of The Mistwraith, or Desh-thiere - any speculations on it?

- First impressions on Sethvir and Traithe?

In case any of you would like to discuss the finer points:

- Do you think Lysaer will be able to keep an open mind as regards his new people? Or are his mind and heart already set?

- In light of Asandir's discussion with Arithon in Chapter 8, did your opinion change as regards Asandir placing the memory block on Arithon? Is Asandir manipulating Arithon into doing what the F7 need him to do, or just helping him adjust?

- Any questions? Or perhaps other points you'd like us to discuss?

DETAILED CHAPTER SUMMARIES

Chapter Set 7

VII. PASS OF ORLAN

The morning after Arithon’s escapade at the Four Ravens, Asandir, in the wake of Sethvir's advice, orders the party on the way again. Note that on the way, they stop for a night at a tavern that once had been a hospice tended by Ath’s initiates in the past. Ath’s adepts’ connection to the mysteries became sullied after the conquest of the Mistwraith. The link that preserved the connection was lost along with the Riathan Paravians, and the conclaves of the adepts are in decline.

Note how frustrated and troubled Lysaer still is; hating the fate that left him closeted at the whim of a sorcerer in the fusty lodgings of a second rate roadside tavern! Since too much quiet let him brood over the undermining losses of his banishment, he tries to entertain himself by keeping Arithon company.
**Notice here, that what Lysaer assumes about Arithon, the beliefs about his attitude and his

immunity to hypnosis

Long but worth reading, even though some of these same points have been made on here already. There are some new insights: https://johnwaters.substack.com/p/covid-totalitarianism-the-deification?token=eyJ1c2VyX2lkIjo3MjM1OTk1LCJwb3N0X2lkIjo0MjMwODk3OSwiXyI6IjVaY3NFIiwiaWF0IjoxNjMzODM2NDEzLCJleHAiOjE2MzM4NDAwMTMsImlzcyI6InB1Yi0xMDgxODUiLCJzdWIiOiJwb3N0LXJlYWN0aW9uIn0.7S1dtMjxLVGsqCrqyV_ZUfNwVex8tahYPxj0r_ULMC0

There are, in situations of mass formation, says Desmet, three distinct groups that manifest themselves. Only 30 per cent, he says, are really hypnotised, and cannot be reached in any way. In addition, however, there are about 40 per cent who usually follow the crowd, and from the outset go along with that 30 per cent of total believers. There is another cohort of about 30 per cent who are not hypnotised, who try to speak out and resist. This group, he says, is extremely heterogeneous and disunited. If these people could unite, he says, they could bring the whole thing quickly to an end, but this seldom proves possible.

*The reason some people appear to be immune to the hypnoidal power of the mass formation, he says, has to do with underlying ideological outlook. In this present situation, he says, the ultimate destination-point of the totalitarianism is to effect the total acquiescence of the global population in a transhumanist project in which, in substance and effect, man will be absorbed into the world of the machine. He thinks that essentially the objectors are people with an aversion to this unnatural way of seeing the human person. This is an interesting theory, and may help to explain why so many religious-minded people are opposed to the lockdown, vaccines et cetera: Many of them, having had a deeper inculcation in fundamental anthropological understandings, instinctively or reasonably object to the unknowable and unnatural dimensions of what is proposed. Desmet may be on to something important here: that, although not yet explicit, the transhumanist agenda is already visible as the distant destination-point, with its meanings already saturating the playing area in the context of mandatory vaccines, biometric ID, social credit schemes and the ac

The 1826/1827 midterms: the four party system

Following the inauguration of John Quincy Adams the national is in the midst of a national shift in political allotment as the Federalist disunite and the Democratic-Republicans are finding it harder to win elections. Andrew Jackson takes charge of the national-Liberty party with the failure of Calhoun to win the election.

The economy: taking over as the economy got back on its feet after the panic of 1819. The economy is on a up tick and is largely stable by Adams inauguration. Adams has tried for internet improvements and in 1825 passed the Mississippi road bill building a road form New Orleans to Memphis Tennessee. Adams has also build a road from Concord New Hampshire to Halifax Novs Scotia. While Adams has wanted to overhaul internal improvements many are growing tired of it has Adams raised taxis in 1826 to pay for it and many southerns especially call it a needless tax and it is to high. Adams has created two new cabinet positions Postmaster general and security of the interior. Adams in 1826 abolished the slave trade in us territory’s meaning Jamaica and the Bahamas couldn’t import more slaves. Adams tried to pass a higher tariff in 1825 but it was shot down by a republican collision. Adams has tired to unite the nation under a nationalist banner however many believe him to be a New England pawn and a corrupt elite. Adams has actually tried to stamp out corruption in the national bank investigating many of its officials and having arrest some as well. Adams has also looked into misconduct among his cabinet and takes pride in a clean uncorrupt cabinet. The rising Jacksonian tide however has hurt Adams as they oppose all he tires to pass but they are still a minority in congress but a growing one.

Foreign Policy: After serving nine years as security of state Adams is a experienced foreign policy president. Adams has promised to continue Clinton’s plan of sending diplomatic missions to secure good relations with European powers. This has lead to in 1825 Tran Atlantic trade treaty with the Netherlands allowing for easier trade with what Adams recognized as a good ally to the nation. Adams has opened up new missions to Denmark China and Austria. Adams has renewed trade treats with France and England. Adams has also established good relations with the new nation of Mexico and has created a strong gulf trade economy for the two countries. Between the time when the nazis drank USSR,
and the rise of the sons of Russia, there was a state undreamed of.
And unto this, Velimir, destined to bear the nuclear crown of Hyperborea upon a troubled brow.
It is I, Dreamscripter, who alone can tell thee of his saga.
Let me tell you of the days of high insanity!

We all remember Aryan Brotherhood and Hyperborea as very memey and yet pretty empty unifiers of Russia. Something that looks sketchy and unfinished - and that is understandable, considering the whole ideas they are based on already are detached from reality. But is it possible to make Hyperborea and AB if not realistic, but plausible, while keeping the unique and highly radical style of those unifiers? I can say "yes" - and that is why I made that post.

I am aware that Aryan Brotherhood is being reworked right now - but when that rework was announced I already have almost finished that proposal. Considering all efforts that I have put into it, I decided it would be better to publish it rather then to throw it into a bin. After all, it still may provide ideas and some concepts.

Due to the limit of reddit on maximum characters in one post, that text was divided into two parts. Second part is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TNOmod/comments/q996nz/hyperborea_the_gates_to_madness_part_ii/

I - Hyperborean Theory

Theory of Hyperborea appeared a long time ago. Basing on ancient Greek myths about some wonderous country far on the north – “beyond the northern wind” (which is the translation of "Hyperborea" from greek) – French astronomer, mathematician and freemason Jean Sylvain Bailly turned it into idea about “ancient birthplace of civilization”. During the 19th century several other thinkers and esoterics, including Antoine Fabre d'Olivet, Joseph Alexandre Saint-Yves, William Warren and many others – and, probably most famous of them all, esoteric Elena Blavatskaya – transformed that idea to its modern form: idea about mysterious continent on the North Pole, that was a birthplace of all white – or aryan – race, which was highly advanced and civilized. According to that theory, long ago the climate was completely different, and the region of Arctic was actually much warmer – but at so

Complete translation of the Generalplan Ost

Comments and suggestions on the general plan "Ost" of the Reichsführer of the SS troops

In November 1941 it became known that the Reich Main Security Office is working on a general plan "Ost". The officer in charge of the Reich General Directorate of Security, Standartenfuehrer Elich, already told me at that time the expected figure of 31 million people of non-German origin to be resettled. This case is in charge of the general directorate of imperial security, which now occupies a prominent place among the bodies subordinate to the Reichsführer of the SS troops. At the same time, the general directorate of imperial security, in the opinion of all the leaderships subordinate to the Reichsführer of the SS troops, will also perform the functions of imperial commissariat for the strengthening of the German race.

General comments on the "Ost" master plan

For its ultimate goal, namely the planned Germanization of the territories in question in the East, the plan must be approved. However, the enormous difficulties that will undoubtedly arise in the implementation of this plan, and which may even raise doubts about its feasibility, seem relatively small in terms of the plan. First of all, it is striking that Ingermanland [1] Dnieper, Tavria and Crimea [2] as colonization territories were left out of the plan. Obviously, this is due to the fact that in the future, the plan will also include new colonization projects, which will be discussed at the end.

At present, it is already possible, more or less definitively, to establish as an eastern boundary of colonization (in its northern and middle parts) a line that runs from Lake Ladoga to Valdai Upland and beyond to Bryansk. Whether these changes will be made to the plan by the command of the SS troops, I do not presume to judge.

In any case, it should be foreseen that the number of people who will be resettled under the plan should be further increased.

It follows from the plan that this is not a program that is subject to immediate implementation, but, on the contrary, the settlement of this space by the Germans should take place within about 30 years after the end of the war. Under the plan, 14 million local residents should remain in this area. However, it is more than doubtful whether they will lose their national characteristics and whether they will suffer Germanization in the planned 30 years, since, again, according to the plan in question, the number of German immigrants is very small. Obviously, the

Possible Plot path for MTG 2022 starting with Kamiwa to the brother's war.

Alright, an interesting theory popped up in my head. I say early and now, New Capenna is probably little or NOT involved with the main plot Let's lay some facts down first:

  1. There is some kind of time shenanigans going on in Kamigawa has we KNOW its 1500 years since the Kami War but the set's details say 2000.

  2. WOTC said the 'Emperor' is someone we know (I'll get back to this in a sec)

  3. Why are we suddenly talking about Dominaria and the Brother's War in particular? Why that particular moment in time?

  4. The New Phyrexians are obviously up to something.

Now lets tie this together. It all starts back in early this year with a 'leaked' card no one knew was real or not and after Kaldheim everyone thought would be in Strixhaven: Jin-Gitaxis, REALITY HACKER.

REALITY HACKER.

Now remember that Kamigawa is a high tech plane now, something is wrong with its timeline and it has a 'known' Emperor. My theory is that the 'Emperor' is publicly known as some kind of AI that governs the world and now behind the scenes....a certain Reality Hacker has taken over and is doing field tests with something involving time tech.

We might get a flip card with the front being an AI Emperor and back the real mastermind, Jin-Gitaxis.

Now, what is going on? Here is why we suddenly have a set on the Brother's War. The New Phyrexians are testing planaar tech to get to Dominaria and Time Travel Tech to travel back in time to the Brother's War.

The Goal? To make sure Mishra and the Phrexians win. Why that particular time and not the Invasion of latter years?

a) You get an artificer commander almost as good as Urza on your side

b) The Thran are the MOST technologically superior Civilization on Dominaria and possibly the multiverse so imagine all that sweet Thran tech up for grabs and its best engineers waiting to be compleated.

c) The other races are completely disunited and easy pickings

d) There is a possibility of subjugating Old Walkers which were beyond godlike levels.

The final ultimate goal? It is unknown if timelines on a world affect the multiverse or not. When Sarkhan messed with Tarkir, we got a new timeline. It SEEMS like no one except him noticed that the world had changed. This gives credence to the theory that the multiverse is not affected by individual planes temporal abnormalities. Now remember this, Narset is a member of Tamiyo's story circle. If Sarkhan did not change the timeline this would NEVER happen and Tamiyo does not comment on it. Mea

Path to Sotapanna (Stream Entry)

The path to Sotapanna can be attained if one is diligent in walking on this journey of Dhamma.

This advice is given by the Venerable Maha Bodhi Myaing Sayadaw U Nyeyadhammasami of Burma. He is considered by many as being an Arahant. I am a Burmese myself, and he advised this in one of his Dhamma talks.

If you are serious of wanting to get out of this Samsara of suffering, if you are serious in attaining Nibbana in this life or you want to attain Nibanna within your next 7 lives of which your rebirth will be in only the happy realms of existence, if that is the case then read this carefully and do accordingly.

So the first of the first step you must do is purification of Conduct (Sila visuddhi) by maintaining either the 5 precepts or 8 precepts (ending with right livelihood).

The five precepts are

  • Abstaining from Killing
  • Refrain from taking what is not given
  • Refrain from intoxicants that cloud the mind.
  • Refrain from wrong speech (lying, foul speech)
  • Refrain from sexual misconduct (Rape, perversion, Adultry, People under protection)

Refraining from breaking the 5 precepts is the bare minimum but if you want or if you can you can hold the 8 precepts shown below, its better.

The 8 precepts (ending with right livelihood) (from Ven. Ledi Sayadaw 's Book)

\

  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from killing any living creatures.
  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from taking what is not given
  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from wrong conduct in sexual pleasures and from intoxicants.
  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from false speech.
  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from setting one person against another
  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from harsh and abusive words regarding any person’s status in society and beliefs.
  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from speaking in ways not conducive to the welfare of beings in this present life, or of those in the wandering-on, or of those in the super mundane plane.
  • From today throughout my life, I shall refrain from wrong livelihood.

Well, I guess I have a bit of time today for a proper update. I really should be rounding off the 2050-2100 area, but I don't think that will be finished until around Christmas Break, this is for a few reasons:

  1. I am a lazy procrastinating bastard

  2. University is pain

  3. I'm working on a whole bunch of other projects. Including the alien world for the "Contact" Series, and another entirely unrelated writing project. I'm a bit scatter-brained meaning I tend to write things when I'm motivated in random intense bursts.

Anyway that's the update, here's the lore.

>COMMISSION REPORT, SUBJECT: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Intro

The 21st century dawned with a promise. The Berlin Wall had fallen, and the United States stood alone as the world's sole hegemon. What had been a small experiment in a British colony on the coasts had now expanded to a worldwide empire, reshaping the global order as we know it. This order, now referred to as "Pax Americana", referred to the capitalist Euro-American world order which dominated from roughly the 1990's to the early 2020's. When the new giants rose out from the ashes, they promised the world this would be the end of history, this would be the end of war, the new guardians would lead the world, Russia, China and all, into sunlit uplands. Russia was democratizing under Boris Yeltsin, and China was undergoing liberal reforms to join the World Trade Organization. Whether they admitted it or not, this was the American Empire, one not bought with blood, but with gold.

This was the first, and so far only global empire, stretching from the Americas through Europe to Asia, down into Africa and elsewhere. The American Empire was omnipresent, guiding the world through its global institutions, its hands and fingers keeping tabs on every country, with the only exceptions being a few holdouts, now turned pariahs by the world order. The unravelling of this empire, however, would not come from its fringes, but rather, the imperial core itself.

Present Day

After a century of war, strife, intrigue and a billion dead as the toll of their inaction, the Americans remain a strong, albeit disunited nation, even a hundred years later. A hundred years of societal change, and the nation was still stuck in the same place as it had been 100 years ago. The same social conflicts and cultural clashes still plague the na

  • The History of Civilization by Will Durant (13 columns, each around 1,000 pages. Only read the first 5. Each book is often individually the best history of that time period.) Will Durant’s attempt to write a history of all civilization. Disproportionately cultural and artistic. Heavily lopsided towards Early Modern Europe.

The 2020 republican primary during the bernard presidency

Post relating to this one. (I was going to list all of the stuff bernard did as president but I realized how long it was so I am saving it for the actural election) after the controversial but almost landslide victory of Carl Bernard, much of the republican enstablishment blamed it on Andy Roths "extremeism", and more libertarian republicans blamed the "corprate enstablishment" for their loss, this left the republican party disunited and in ideological shambles, many are even calling back to the old Ross Perot style republican.

Who will win the primary and and change the party direction?

-Elizabeth Warren is a moderate republican that has a "return to normal" platform that were one of those who were critical to Andy roth, she supports lowering taxes across the board but raising it on the top 5% stating "america works best when you keep the money you make, but that does not mean the mega rich get a tax break". She as well wants a "market based" healthcare system but said "healthcare needs some regulation to function" but also wants to cut "red tape", she as well wants to abandoned the plan for single payer health care plan that was signed by bernard. She is a supporter of welfare restrictions. She supports the following: a four-year limit of benefits, a requirement that able-bodied recipients participate in work-related activities in order to receive benefits, and limiting benefits given to recipients if they have additional children while on welfare. She is also pro choice (like most republicans)

-Gary Johnson holds much of the same positions he does in real life and is a Andy roth republican, who is running on a low-tax, anti-crime platform, and was one of the first people who dropped out and endorsed him, though many criticize him for his "unelectable" policies. emphasizing the United States public debt and a balanced budget, protection of civil liberties, military non-interventionism, replacement of income tax with the FairTax, and opposition to the War on Drugs. He wants to abandoned the plan for single payer health care. He has stated he supports "slashing government spending" including Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, He has referred to Social Security as a pyramid scheme. He is also pro choice.

-Andrew Yang is a Ross Perot style republican but also takes some inspiration from Milton Friedman, he runs on a "Not

Suggestion for SRI lore rework

Lore for the Socialist Republic of Italy is considered... outdated at best, as many posts about it have showed. One of the issues with it being that considering it's one of Anarchist hotbeds, it's ruled by a man who was Stalinist OTL(Togliatti). However, the Italian lore overall has to be worked over, and while the Republic, Sardinia, Sicilies and Pope can stay as is, SRI would need an overhaul, if it's not planned already.

In the current lore, since there is no US help and the Entente is in the worse shape overall, it doesn't get better since Caporetto. Battle at Piave River was just a tempoary success, but next year, Austrians pierce even through that defense and force the Italians to surrender, estabilish a puppet state in Lombardia and Venice as Italian Federation, but the Federation, and the rest of Italy fall into disorder, there was a short civil war, and the Austrian threat has calmed the situation somewhat, resulting in the state of affairs we have now.

Two issues i have with it is:

-Royal Italian Army, as incompetent as it's leadership was, wouldn't have just folded over after a year has passed. Even with no US support, they were still selling weapons and food, and together with US, UK and French weaponry, they would have managed to hold out. Luigi Cadorna had a sound plan: build up a sufficient supply of heavy weaponry and train up enough specialist troops which could break the stalemate on the Italian front, and the Isonzo battles were just serving as a drain on manpower reserves. Italy could recover that, Austria was running out. And it was working well, before Russian war effort collapsed, and Caporetto struck, putting Italy on the back foot, with the Piave river held through sheer grit. Even though Austrians won, it was only a matter of time for them. The supplies had been built up and the specialist troops were ready. All they needed was a proper replacement for a general(which they had) and they were ready. But even if the situation was bad for the Entente overall, Italy could still hold out, in a defensive. They wouldn't have fallen before France. There was unrest too... but we will get to that.

-As noted in the Serbian PR, the Annexationist tendencies have passed in the Austro-Hungarian policy making, and politicians were now favoring independent Serbia, although economically tied with them. But what of Italy? They have no need to occupy their country, and carving them out and taking some territories would just anger them and harde

Presidential Civil War! - November 2026 - Post-Election Chaos (Union)

The Ohio Horde decides to continue its rampage throughout Canada, making the carnage in Ontario even more unbearable. They slowly but surely begin to march towards the Canadian capitol of Ottawa. President Roosevelt announces that the Empire will join the coalition against Canada, further pummeling Canadian cities. In desperation for troops to defend their cities, Prime Minister Trudeau announces a full withdrawal from Alaska. This doesn't mean too much, as Alaska was essentially about to fall. This does allow the Hawaiian Kingdom to capture and annex the state of Alaska, giving them territory on the continent of North America.

Delaware begins to rapidly increase its 5G towers in the United Kingdom under the guise of a UN Communications Program. Their general goal was to disunite the United Kingdom and elect a government sympathetic to Delaware's cause in what would become England (the presumptive holder of a dissolved UK's permanent Security Council seat). This is done by beaming messages to vote for the Scottish National Party. Their technologies are still in need of refinement, as several people in Cornwall became Scottish nationalists despite not actually being Scottish. President Biden's pick of Prime Minister is none other than Count Binface (formerly Lord Buckethead) of the Official Monster Raving Looney Party, running on a platform of abolishing British people, again likely due to the 5G influence.

The Official Monster Raving Looney Party wins in a landslide in England, forming a coalition with the growing Pirate Party. Scotland officially gains independence, dragging alongside Cornwall, now fully converted into a Scottish town through a misapplication of 5G towers. England rejoins the European Union. Foreign Minister Mad Cap'n Tom Scott is sent to the UN Security Council to announce the ascension of Delaware into the United Nations.

Is there a way to cheat in the HRE into the game?

What I mean by this is cheating in the HRE like it is in 1444, completely disunited and member states NOT being vassals. I'm currently playing a ck3 game that I am going to transfer into eu4 and the HRE is not a thing (due to me starting 867), but I would REALLY want it in my game. Is there a way to do this?
