Can you actually call it decentralized if only the Rich can run it !
Don't get me wrong, I like the Ethereum Project, but I don't like seeing it shifting in favor of the rich when it was invented to satisfy the needs of the average joe.
It almost feels pointless to even include new players throughout a season because the starting players create an immediate bond that holds fast over new players trying to break through. Theyβve had several days to make the relationships so itβs nearly impossible for the players added later to even have a chance of surviving let alone winning. What can they do to make it more fair?
When a girl have more PR, more earnings, more wins, higher KD and more hours in a game than you, as a solo player, duo, and trios. When someone plays a game for 10.000 hours and you play the game for 2000 hours, the player will be better than you.
I am sick and tired of all the hate, all the sexist slurs when entering a lobby because I said βhelloβ. I am tired of the bans, of the people with small self esteem whoβs offended for loosing a 1v1 and now have to pick axe the girl or his manhood is on the stake.
Why is Fortnite Competetive scene an exptionally sexist community? Can some of the males in here explain to me, the need of being 95% of the players have a need to be mean and hating on someone who has another gender than them in Fortnite? Why do most players laugh of a female play comp? I donβt understand why this makes a human incapable of being a good player?
I am all ears to listen to why all girls deserve this inhumanly amount of hate in the competitive scene.
Edit* No, I can not turn off voice chat in a duo or trio tournament and expect to do just as good.
This has been a problem for how long and it seems to just get worse. In ranked play if you do poorly in the early game it doesn't matter that you scale, your teammates will most likely tilt, sometimes they will auto lose you the game by afking or soft inting. Go next mentality. It doesn't always happen, but it happens that playing late game scaling champions most certainly have win-rates affected by it. I see influencers propagate with community support. It seems as if most players have just accepted this.
So as a result of how bad the mentality in this game is Riot has to balance around it. Champions that should be good arn't because people can't play the game properly. Mobility, Assassins, Early ganks, all of that is king because how this game is played by and large is so screwed up.
No boons. They lack the most important and vital aspect of chaos wastes, which means you're pulling ALL of the weight.
No upgrades. On top of no special powers, their weapons are weak versions of their gear with low power.
Pathing. Bots will ALWAYS fall off ledges in CW. Seriously, every single match I'm in there's always a bot that falls of the ledge, and then it snowballs into a dangerous situation because the other bots give up everything to pick up the fallen bot.
Curse AoEs. Blood tornadoes, khorne bombs, poison, lightning, you name it, and bots are running into them and dying immediately. It's like they saw the problem of bots running into poison gas in normal V2 and decided to make the problem 5x worse by including all of these heavy damaging bot-magnets. If I see a level with one of these effects, I know I'm going to wipe.
Coins. Not only do bots not get boons or upgrades, but you don't even receive a coin bonus for these major disadvantages. This means that you, as a player, suffer from having bots in your party, because you have to pull so much extra weight with no benefit to offset it.
Bots will eat up ALL of your health items in CW, it's insane.
There are a few ways to go about making bots at least decent. Only one of these options would be good enough to compensate:
Let them use their fully upgraded loadout that you chose for them, complete with properties, traits, and trinkets.
Mirror all boons that you receive onto the bots.
Make them immune to all AoE curses.
Give a +25% coin bonus to each player for each bot on team.
Make them immune to falling off ledges (This issue will never be fixed, so the next best thing is just to make it a non-issue by making them instantly get up from ledges)
In my RPG, I am considering switching over to a Feat system similar to Pathfinder's, but I have heard some generically negative comments online about it. Only specific thing I heard was the "feat tax," which I think I can handle. I'd like to hear more specifics as to the pros and cons of this kind of system and how other designers have done it well or poorly in the past.
EDIT: Should have mentioned this. My system is classless.
I have never staked any coins before. From what I understand I can lock the coins in for 15, 30 or 90 days and they will earn interest? Sounds too good to be true. Is there a disadvantage to this? Also, what are some of the top coins to stake at the moment? Want to look and research this further before I go ahead with it.
Thanks for the help and suggestions as always.
Having cats
Many of the women on the apps say they love dogs but most donβt mention cats. I have 2 cats and whenever I mention it during dates they donβt seem too interested. They are much more interested in hearing about my parents dog and seem disappointed when they find out the dog lives with my parents instead of me. Does having cats seems to come with a negative stereotype for guys as opposed to having dogs? Some gay friends of mine said I shouldnβt mention that I have cats because women are weird about it and see it as more feminine and less masculine. Sorry if this seems incoherent but itβs been on my mind for a while.
TLDR: is having cats as a guy a disadvantage?
A weird thought occurred to me.A creature that is considered Prone has the following effects:
Furthermore, a flying creature that possesses the ability to hover does not fall down when they go prone.Technically speaking, could a creature with the ability to hover go prone every turn and gain perma disadvantage against being hit so long as the adversaries cannot fly?
And furthermore, does it make any sense?
Just as I'm trying to write this text, my mind goes blank and completely rampage at the same moment. I'm barely able to write sentences (even in my native language), I'm not even able to properly think! Also talking is hard, I went from Eminem to the "have you ever had a dream" kid from the vine. It just hit me why I'm always quiet and barely interact, especially on the internet, it's not just because I don't want to deal with drama, it's because it's so hard to even think! I have to be careful and concentrate so much about what I write, how I write it, spelling things right, my thumbs being too slow to write for my on-crack-mind, or my on-crack-mind being too slow to properly think of a simple sentence. The chronic pain and other bs that result from my Adhd AND being a perfectionist with anxiety, don't make it easier either! I can't even explain how I feel or can properly talk about things that I'm passionate about,- and even if I try, I will never feel satisfied. I cannot be ME. I'm constantly being held back and It just gets worse and worse. Adhd destroyed my life and continues to do so. I wanted to talk about my story,- hell, I could write a damn book but wait! No I can't, because it's too overwhelming for my brain too handle. Too many details, feelings and whatnot. How am I suppose to live?
Dragon is important, yes, but it's not worth inting in a 4v5 if one of your team members doesn't show or is dead. I can't believe I'm even having to say this, but it's NOT impossible to come back after being down 1 drag. It's much better to cut your losses and try for the next one if possible. If you find yourself down a member when the enemy team starts drag, try taking a turret or some plates elsewhere as a trade objective.
Just last game our mid died and the enemy team raced to drag, I was ahead in top lane and opted to take the turret instead of joining my team in a 4v5. They all ran in 3v5 and got destroyed then spam pinged me for not being there. Like what do you want from me? Should I run it down with you guys? Despite the enemy top laner getting 1 kill and 2 assists at the dragon I was still over 600g ahead from getting all 3 plates and first turret gold.
Hello, my wife and I are turning our cape cod house into a colonial/full 2 floor house. Long story short, doing a shed dormer wouldβve been more involved than just putting a second floor on.
Our contractor said heβd like to make our master bedroom upstairs a vaulted ceiling that basically follows the roof line above. We both love the idea, but what are the disadvantages that youβve seen or know of?
One would be hot air rising, or hard to regulate the air control. We have full central air throughout the first floor, but the second floor will have a large split system, with heads in each room so each room will have its own thermostat. Would this be a good idea for heating/cooling in a vaulted room?
Yes, weβve asked him this, he said itβll work out great, but I want to hear from other home owners who have done it.
Thanks!
I'm a ~2 K/D player on a PS5 using a PS5 DualSense controller (which I hate). Sometimes when I get into a close engagement with another player/team, I find it almost impossible to compete with players who are able to Jump + ADS + AIM + Shoot simultaneously. Accomplishing this combination is logistically impossible using a PS5 controller and Tactical button layout.
Do you think regular controller users are at a disadvantage against players who use KBM/SCUF and are able to easily perform this combo?
I'm considering getting a custom controller with 2 paddles on the back, one of which will be Mapped to X for jumping, which I think could solve my issue.
Have any of you experienced this issue and did a custom controller help solve it?
It's impossible to get an order filled at the current strike of crypto. Tried multiple times to get filled on DOGE and I get absolutely clapped by the crap fill.
If you want to sell limit the price has to be .01xx above the sell limit for it to execute. If you want to buy limit the strike has to be .01xx below the buy limit to execute.
In each case you're being shafted and Apex Clearing/Webull is making even more money off of users on top of the embedded premium they place in every order.
Not to mention when you click on the limit buy it's automatically a cent or so higher than the current strike is.
Is this blatant corruption going to be removed? Crypto is unusable on Webull unless you want to lose daily.
As a mostly passive reader here (granted, with a bit of Schadenfreude), Iβm wondering which bigger problems have arisen for the EU so far?
The UK were a decently sized trading partner, so I canβt imagine Brexit not hurting us. Iβm not talking about normal consumer issues, but GDP effecting things. Obviously "They need us more than we need them" never made any sense, but still.
Happy to take any links someone has, itβs kinda hard to google as most talk about the UK and anything negative for the EU is more about general separatist concerns.
The following is more of a joke than anything:
I found this which has
> Members of right-wing,anti-immigration parties are particularly anti-EU in France and Germany. If they gained enough ground, they could force an anti-EU vote. If either of those countries left, the EU would lose its most robust economies and would dissolve.
and seems more like someone had a pistol to their head to force them to quickly make up a negative for the EU
edit: Separated the joking quote from the rest, it seemed pretty obvious to me that I didnβt think this was serious, but I got quite a few serious replies.
I think Fury will beat AJ, however I am not sure how big disadvantage for him will be fact that he had his last fight in February 2020 - over a year ago. It happened long time ago, and I am not sure why he didnt take any fight in meantime.
Are training and sparring enough for him to shake ring rust off?
As a fan, I wouldnt like to see him having only one fight per year in future, it would be frustrating. I would be pleased with two fights (yea, he probably cares what I think about that).
As someone who is neither short enough to be short or tall enough to be tall itβs very interesting knowing what itβs like for both sides
