So, let's make a brief review of some disgusting descriptions and inconsistencies. There are lots of them and makes me sad.
Let's take Wukong as a reference to flame a bit later about him.
This is his normal W description: https://i.imgur.com/VWRGoMa.png
Everything looks fine. Let's hit Shift to see the detailed description, we can now see the type of invisibility he uses and how it scales through every single level! Neat. https://i.imgur.com/H8FMvsT.png
Let's take a look at Gnar now. We try to shift to see detailed info but... Nothing happens. No advanced info for Gnar! If you want to see what will increase wait until you level up, or go to a third party website! https://i.imgur.com/wxDsPuI.png
Also, speaking about Gnar... We all know that he gets tired when he goes back from Mega Gnar form to regular Gnar, right? Well... That isn't written anywhere in the champ abilities or p... keep reading on reddit ➡
Thank you so much to everyone for all of the recs! I read every comment and I love all your passion and arguments.
I plan on posting on each recipe I finish and I do want to do at least one from every country. I’m starting off in England (since that’s where I am) with beer battered fish, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce!
The US will be done separately by state later on! I got a LOT of different suggestions with a LOT of variation and felt wrong condensing it
Edit 2: as I cook, I'll start organising things by mutual ingredients. So if you can move from England to Sweden easily via ingredients that match up between, they'll be together and I'll let you know! Please let me know if there's anything else you'd like about organisation!
I am a highly imaginative person, when it comes to description, I prefer being left to fill in the blanks myself (if the characters are in a forest, I generally don't need to know what kind of berries grow on the trees etc). But when it comes to character description - I actually like some defining details!
It seems everyone here recommends including little to no character description, and absolutely steering clear of clothing/fashion. I find this so frustrating! A character's body/features/ethnicity/clothing don't just help provide context for the story but help really give context to how the character fits into the world of that story. I find this particularly enlightening in fantasy novels, where you're being introduced to a fantasy culture and all of these pieces help build that culture's identity. As to the individual character - I feel that it adds so much with very little word count.
I understand that we don't need a thread count of their clothing and that being tasteful is ve... keep reading on reddit ➡
10 days ago, my younger sister started developing a cough. Understanding I'd now need to shut myself in for at least two weeks, I set about getting a few supplies. Near enough everything was completely sold out online, however, I managed to find an amazon listing for 40pcks of ramen. Couldn't believe my luck! All were sold out bar the spicy chicken flavour. Not a problem - I like a bit of spice. Without reading the ad, I purchased immediately using the buy now button, thinking I'd found the listing just in time...
It arrived a few days later and I eagerly grabbed a pack. I noticed it read 2x spicy on the front. No worries, as a Brit, a hot curry and a pint is pretty much a weekly occurrence from birth. I excitedly cook my first batch. Pouring the included sauce on I notice it's blood red, thick and viscous. Once mixed In though it looks OK. The noodles smell great. Oniony, chickeny tomato like smell. Right up my street.
I took my first mouthful and messily slurped up the noods, gett... keep reading on reddit ➡
>The description we were told was that the match was really good, extremely smart in the way it was put together, great storytelling, solid action and tremendous selling.
>“It was definitely a showcase of two great talents working as hard and smart as they can.”

Its like they can't see us as soft delicate flowers or possibly imagine us "damsels in distress" that may possibly want a man for protection and loving leadership.
Even black men say that now to describe all black women. Its like everyone think we are built like bricks with stone hard hearts that can never break.
Edit: The bot is ready to be launched! It just needs a little bit of karma so Reddit will let it post more than once every 10 minutes. Here is a link to a comment made by the bot. Thank you!
I have seen this type of bot in other subreddits so I was wondering if the community would find it useful here?
It would work something like this maybe:

New to this sub and new to Playstation. As more experienced players, I wanted to get a second opinion from ya'll regarding getting a PS4 Pro in light of the PS5 being so close. So here's a bit of context:
I have not had a console for the past 5 years and right now I will have loads of free time for the next few months to game, rather than when the PS5 is due to come out later this year, when I don't think I will be as free. I also recently got a new 4K compatible TV which makes me lean more towards a fresh PS4 Pro rather than just getting a PS4 to pass the time till PS5. I also think a Pro will have better resale value in the future, in case I wanted to sell it and get a PS5. But I don't think I will be getting a PS5 anywhere near it's release, probably more like a year or so after if the difference isn't that huge with the PS4 Pro. With all the games available now and 4K, I don't think I would be missing out on much if I got the Pro now for when the PS5 comes out? Especiall... keep reading on reddit ➡
I saw someone on Twitter ask people to poorly describe their favorite video games. It was really fun looking at all the responses. So I thought it'd be fun to do it on this sub
Archaeologist and young boy go to find an apple in a poorly designed tower
EDIT: u/SolokOriginel got it right. It is Professor Layton
I thought the ingame descriptions of the Killstreaks don't really do them justice. So here are some more accurate descriptions for our favorite CoD game mechanic:
Escort drone that will hover exactly above you and give your position away for the enemy team. Very useful for enemy players that want to get their RPG camo challenges
A shielded turret that shoots bullet the size of bricks with the stopping power of a spitball. Usually only used by players that really want to finish a challenge for this thing or randomly placed somewhere by someone that received it from a care package
A stationary drone that will slightly annoy the enemy team with some static HUD elements. Gets destroyed by a single .22 round, but usually the enemy team doesn't even bother. Like the Personal Rader, this killstreak is also very useful for RPG camo challenges
The classic Call of Duty killstreak... keep reading on reddit ➡
Here's the image files in an imgur link. the new ones are pink. the skill trees themselves are actually gonna be purple.
Looks like Fl4k has a loader bot as a pet which :D
I can't tell what Moze's is gonna be bc Iron Bear...
Amara's looks like a big ball of fun.
Zane's looks like a big stun gun or something, and im a lil sad because I really, really, really wanted a grappling hook, but hey.
I haven't found anything else regarding these, but they were uploaded with the Guardian Takedown files today so I'm thinking they're going to release soon.
Edit: with help from u/jaykobin I was able to figure out that Moze's new skill is called IronCub in the game files (so maybe a tiny iron bear?) and that this dlc is codenamed Ixora, so I'll be keeping an eye out for any patches that mention it. Also, Geranium is the code name for DLC 3.
Here's the trailer for those of you who did not watch it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq2iTHoLrt0
[ 0:00 - 0:10 ] Just the ending of the last season, nothing particularly new here.
[ 0:00 - 0:19 ] So, here we get the confirmation that we'll get to know where Jonas truly came from. As the current timelines are all stuck in a "knot" (repeating cycle). We know from H.G. Tannhaus, that once an artifact went back to the past from the future, its true origin becomes unknown. In this trailer, it seems like we'll learn what was before the knot and where it all started. Also, here we see a scene with the Stranger (Jonas) with his hair cut looking at a paper with his name. He is holding the piece of paper that he got from younger Noah (he said it's from Martha) before the apocalypse in the last episode of season 2.(I initially missed this, thanks to u/abyssiphus and u/testreddit01LP for pointing out).
[ 0:20 - 0:24 ] This one is big. We get to see a wall that seems... keep reading on reddit ➡

Edit: I’m so happy to see so much support to add other orientations! I’m glad the Femboy community is so supportive ♥️
>What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
*Seriously Competition Games that require high frames
>What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
>**When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
>What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)
>Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?
>If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.

When you’re trying to decide which fragrances to purchase, how do you interpret the scent descriptions? Do you pay attention to the notes more or the perfumer’s story? Have you ever bought a scent because of the colorful imageries and elaborate stories that went with the descriptions, even though you already knew you probably won’t like the scent? Are there times when you ignore certain parts of scent descriptions?
Let’s say you came across a scent with the following description:
Green grass, crystal blue sky, fluffy white clouds, wild clovers, sunflowers, daisies, and the feeling of cool breeze tickling your cheeks.
How would you interpret that? Would you interpret crystal blue sky, fluffy white clouds, and cool breeze as notes themselves, like aldehyde and ozone, or would you just ignore these words altogether?
Just your face is not enough. Does that face have a brain? Why not put a single sentence in your profile? Does it really work for you to leave it blank? I can’t help but assume you’re the most self-obsessed person ever.
How am I supposed to broach a conversation from nothing?
It’s an automatic swipe left from me if I see a blank profile no matter how “hot” you think you are.
I was designing an session today and on a whim decided to have my party encounter a flail snail, cause I think they're neat. When I got a good look at the description given near the statblock, though, I found it intriguing - a flail snail's shell is apparently a coveted treasure. The description not only lists a gp value for it, but two magic items that use the flail snail's shell as a crucial ingredient!
I have to wonder why this isn't more common. I wouldn't ask for it for every monster, but this one seems pretty unique - I don't think I've seen any other monsters that do this. The unicorn, for example, contains a description of what unicorn horns are used for, but it's vague and unspecific, not giving much more of a description than that wands and weapons made with unicorn horns are "powerful".
Would you prefer having more specific treasure listings in monster descriptions?
I often opt to give minimal details about characters’ description except for one or two crucial info. I leave the rest to the reader’s imagination.
What about environments though? Do you dedicate more attention to them or only describe important landmarks and features and leave the rest to the reader’s imagination?
