I love you guys. I got into the show and binged it too quickly (is that possible?) and then turned to the books. After doing a bit of research on the authors I was excited to jump in. Wow. I wish I had gotten into the series sooner. Not only are the books incredibly engaging and well written but they look freakin’ good on my bookshelf. Seriously they are some nice looking books. I read them all on kindle first but had to get the hardcovers to display my love for it. I rarely do that for a series.
And the show. Oh my god. I think it’s a rare thing that a show will be almost on par with its source material. As a long time Game of Thrones/ASOAIF fan I thought the momentum I felt with those would be gone since the show was over and the next release may still be a while off. But with The Expanse I feel that momentum again (maybe even slightly more?) and it’s so very comforting. All of the actors are fantastic and all of the main cast seem to steal the screen when they are on.
Very anxiously waiting for Leviathan Falls and the next novella and every episode each week.
Essentially I just want to express my thanks to this series as a whole for being consistently great. The authors, actors, writers, directors, crew, everything is damn perfect and you brought something so awesome into the world for us to enjoy. I’ve been annoying everyone I know to try to get them into it, too. Reality sucks lately but having this series to escape into has been more important to me than I can say.
When I say “big” I mean in terms of crash intensity. The biggest I can remember was that one practice session this year. He seems like the safest driver on the grid in terms of crash avoidance.
Deleted the other thread cause I realized it wasn't passing and I counted wrong.
