Many of the things now happening the world—like the creating a lot of debt and money, big wealth and political gaps, and the rise of new world power (China) challenging an existing one (the US)—haven’t happened in our lifetimes but have happened many times in history for the same reasons they’re happening today. I’m especially interested in discussing this with you so that we can explore the patterns of history and the perspective they can give us on our current situation.
If you’re interested in learning more you can read my series “The Changing World Order” on Principles.com or LinkedIn. If you want some more background on the different things I think and write about, I’ve made two 30-minute animated videos: "How the Economic Machine Works," which features my economic principles, and "Principles for Success,” which outlines my Life and Work Principles.
EDIT: Thanks for the great questions. I value the exchanges if you do. Please feel free to continue these questions on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. I'll plan to answer some of the questions I didn't get to today in the coming days on my social media.
I was 17 when I had my first child, got married, had two more kids, and then got divorced by 23.
Life got really hard, really fast, and I had to work twice as hard as my peers, doing jobs I hated while everyone else went on to get degrees and careers they enjoyed.
It took me a long time to figure out why I made such terrible decisions when I was young, but ultimately it comes to this:
I didn’t value myself. I didn’t value my time, my energy, or my emotions, and it set me back YEARS.
My kids are approaching that age now, and more than any other lesson I want them to learn from me, I teach them this: You are valuable. Your time, energy, money and emotions are valuable. Where you choose to spend them is up to you, but once they’re gone, they’re gone. Spend them wisely.
Hi guys, as I always post. I live here, last week cost of living has increased a lot, I think months ago you could "survive" with 50-60 USD monthly, now that is nothing. You need much more, it has been hitting hard.
This last week was the same, the volume traded is amost constant in USD that is why the decrease in BTC volume. Around 4-6 millons USD weekly.
Mostly miners, people sending remittances and store owners getting rid of their bolivares.
If you want to know something I'm here.
A lot of redditors have helped (not only me) somehow!
So if you take the 1 million, the following morning your friend would wake without having the functionality in their legs and without the knowledge as to how it happened.
But if you turn this down then your friend is offered the opportunity without your knowing. You both reserve the option to pass or one of you could end up 1 million richer.
Hey all, just wondering if anyone out there has any projections on the price of XRP if it gets ruled a currency?
I feel like, people need to know the truth and that Monero needs a "Use Monero... " moment from Elon or someone like that just as he did with "Use Signal." If we don't make people aware of this now, we are going to really regret it later.
I love this community, but unfortunately it also means that many supporters of Monero also don't like to be public with their views. This keeps Monero in the dark for most of the world and only the lucky ones stumble upon it. I'm not sure what the right move is, but I just wanted to vent my frustration during this time when everyone is mad at Whatsapp terms and conditions changing.
