Edit: turn back now. This thread is full of craft beer aficionados.
I'm level 28, i've only found 1 singular flash drive this entire wipe and I do runs specifically -looking- for them all the damn time. I just straight up can not find any flash drives whatsoever and i can't progress peacekeeper at all because this one quest is halting my progress entirely and it's fucking awful.
Please just let me craft it at level 1 intel center or something. I'm getting completely cock blocked out of getting trader rep for peacekeeper.
I mean, we can’t friggin trade it anyway so just let us use your stupid legendary modules already.
Edited to say thanks for the conversation! ... and the awards!
TFT harvest sales channel is so spammed with craft sales that there's no problem finding anything you need in large amounts, so the limit doesn't seem to have any availability-limiting effect for which it was probably introduced.
It only makes it so the process of crafting is more annoying because I have to repeat messaging sellers, crafting, messaging sellers again (etc.) a lot. It makes no difference to the market if I finish a GG item in half an hour via a bulk seller, or 3 hours by messaging individual players. edit: For some reason I didn't consider this, but of course there's also the risk of getting scammed going on constantly. Though to be honest, in practice I find this to be less of an issue if you rely on trusted sellers for big ticket items, of which there are many by now.
Similarly when crafting for yourself or in SSF it does nothing. It only makes it so you have to plan your crafts beforehand so you have the correct items ready when you get a certain craft, instead of chilling out and having fun, applying crafts you have stored at some point when you're in the mood.
Similarly when selling, I just have to make sure to sell my crafts once I reach 10 so I'm not in danger to lose any once I find a new grove. This in particular was probably what they hoped would have the availability limiting effect: A lot of players are most likely not selling their crafts because it's too annoying with the constant managing of the limit. But the demand for these crafts is just too low so the few people who sell it are more than enough to supply the market.
Granted, there are still effects it could have that we can't observe for now:
Just wanted to make sure people knew what they were paying for given that there's a huge markup on "Lucky" crafts in TFT for no good reason.
Using a "Lucky" augment won't make it more likely that I'll roll a tier 1-2 mod, it'll just roll a tier of a mod and then have a higher chance of rolling high within that tier.
In general I avoid lucky crafts if they're more expensive than normal crafts.
I'm seeing a lot of people exclaiming that "Harvest is back!" while theory crafting all the cool things you can do with the mechanic. I just want to put it out there to not get too excited just yet. Knowing GGG's methodology when it comes to powerful mechanics like Harvest you should 100% expect absurdly restricted heavily weighted RNG based access to the best Harvest has to offer.
You may end up crafting epic gear like you did back in Harvest league except this time it took longer to craft 1 item than the full gear for 3 entire builds made in Harvest league. Temper your expectations now and plan your builds like Harvest isn't in the game. Maybe you will be pleasantly surprised if I end up being incorrect... That is way better than banking on the idea that you can craft some niche item only to find out Remove-then-Add crafts are found once in every 50 Harvest Garden instances and Targeted Exalt and Annul crafts only show up once every 50 billion maps...
I can already see the sub in flames 1 week after league start when people begin to realize that GGG doesn't want you to easily craft all your items exclusively through Harvest...
It's probably a bad idea to choose your league start strategy based on the availability of Harvest Crafting Mechanics.
I love having some elements of Harvest back, and I get excited every time I see the grove show up in a map.
But only having 10 crafts means unless I am literally crafting a single item at that moment, then I can't justify saving any craft at all and I run out of the 10-recipe space instantly.
This is such a regression to old mechanics that forced you to use them instantly or throw away their entire value. I'm disappointed because I thought GGG was learning from things like Temple and original low Sulphite limit.

Salewa recipe is now 2 painkillers, 2 bandages, 1 hemostat, 2 tourniquets. Seems if IFAK wasn't meta before, it will certainly be now.
New IFAK recipe as well: 2 piles of meds, 2 army bandages, and 1 tourniquet.
Worth nothing that both hemostat and army bandages are locked for new players. You need the kill scavs at customs quest to unlock army bandages from medic, and you need medic LL3 for hemostat.
