When someone smokes around you it is not only disgusting for you and it naturally makes you cough. But it is also very bad for your health. So we should be entitled to cover our mouth or cough to protect our health. It isn’t rude to do that.
They crept in. It was pitch black and stone quiet. They were suddenly starting to regret this dare. Stupidly, only one brought a flash light. The aggressive darkness and inky black yielded with grudging compliance but always seeming to push back. They moved cautiously onward amid the dust and cobwebs. The floor creaked. They breathed in tight, quick breaths. You could hear a pin drop.
Suddenly, there was a deep moan. "OOOOOOOOUUUUU". It seemed from below them. The house had been abandoned for years. Who or what could make such a sound? The boys looked at each other, but continued on, hearts pounding in their chests.
As they proceeded into the kitchen they encountered a swarm of flies. Buzzing and beating their necks and faces, they rushed and stumbled to the door, not stopping to see what they were truly feasting on. They slammed the door behind them. Maybe a body? But no way were they going back to find out. And again came the sound, "ooooOOOOOooooOOUUU" but louder this time, and... keep reading on reddit ➡
Part of me feels like I've finally earned my IT Manager title.
$Edit: His manager is aware. Debating HR or just shitlisting the user, and right now I'm leaning towards the shitlist.
$Edit2: I don't want to nuke the guy from low-orbit, which is what HR involvement would likely entail. He's frustrated because he used to have admin access, and when I took over I've phased that out. I'll give my boss a heads up, talk to the user's boss, and get a backchannel (but documented via email/teams logs that will be archived) warning.
Tiandi - Undertuned and barely viable.
JJ - Nobushi tier in 1vs1 or even worse, OOS in two attacks, no offense.
Shaolin - barely viable, hard to access offense.
Nuxia - have to make several reads to make use of her only moveset.
Zhanhu - being parried and option selected the character.
The one finally thing all Wulin have in common, doing absolute shit damage. They all do tickle damage, JJ was the exception and now he does mediocre damage excluding OOS punishes.
I moved into this apt 1 year ago with my fiancé. My previous neighbor lived next door for 3 years and moved out because he thought my fiancé and I had loud sex. False, it’s muffled, and he was only home at night and was used to the previous tenant being away at night. I heard my old neighbor’s alarm every 6am and all his phone convos. And the rare times he had a girl over. Landlord started blaming us and self installed “”insulation”” on the other side without notice leading to days of random drilling. Now a new couple moved in and I can hear them breathe and likely vice versa. It’s month to month so I’m afraid if they complain first the landlord will ask me to move out. But I’m not a complainer. I have bad credit due to student loan default and can’t find anything else right now. I don’t want to pay 1800 a month to be afraid of taking a dump or having sex or sneezing or crying or making phone calls or tell my SO I love him before bed or else I might get kicked out. I also hear my land... keep reading on reddit ➡
I work at a helpdesk type person.
We have a physical barricade but my desk is close to it so people can speak to us through it.
I had a person come in and ask for password reset type thing.
He laughed at the barricade asking if we’re serious and why can’t he just look at my screen. I told him it is serious.
He laughed and said “why are you afraid people are just gonna come over and...” he then leaned over the barricade to my desk and coughed on me. I literally antibacterial rubbed my face and am mortified.
I know his details coz the idiot works here. I’m not sure if I want to pursue a legal avenue. But I do wonder if it is assault so I can report it in my business
Edit (as asked) worked here 4 years
Edit 2 thanks for the advice. I’m too angry to professionally act about this I will think on it as I cool down
Edit 3 : I reported it to my line manager he reported it to his LM and I’ll see what comes of it
Edit: Nothing in life is ever absolute and I should have worded the title "your newborn may cough/puke up a bunch of amniotic fluid/mucous".
I don't know why more new moms aren't told about this! I was lucky my friend warned me about it before I gave birth because it was scary anyway even though I knew what was happening. For us, I woke up out of a dead sleep about 18 hours after baby was born to him making little choking noises in his bassinet and working his mouth. I quickly turned him on his side and he spit out a bunch of yellowish mucous. It's scary but normal so watch for it and don't freak out!
Pretty much the tittle. We moved in together back in January this year and we've had our ups and downs but we're good and we're taking care of everything and each other really well. Last Saturday I started to feel a little bad in my throat and started to get really sick. At first I got really worried because I thought it could be covid so she started taking care of everything and myself to the point she bosses me not to go out of bed.
May not be much, but a simple cough has made me realise how lucky I am to have a gf like her, even after 5 years together she still makes me feel like the luckiest man alive, and I lover that.
Take care everyone.
Edit: many people are saying I should propose to her, so I want to clarify that we are already sort of engaged, we just don't see marriage as an obligation, we will consider it when it is required for something like moving to another country or such (which we're planning on). Thank you everyone for all your comments ❤️.
To be clear the first thing I did was call the police. This happened at about 1pm I made this post after 4pm.
At about 1pm today I was behind this car in the parking lot of the Harvest Hills T&T grocery store, noticed the plate and parked beside them, so they moved and parked at a different spot. I made my way in but kept an eye on them, they didn't get out of the car so I just watched them matching me for a couple minuets, then they drove off. It was very unusual and suspicious but I walked away went in and quickly picked up what I needed.
On my way out I noticed that the car hadn't gone far and ware actual parked at the Tim's across the parking lot. I went over to take down the plate number to report it and that when the man of the couple came out of the car and started approaching me.
Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt I asked him where he was from as friendly as could and he loudly between coughs announced WEST KANSAS. He then started repeatedly scream demandin... keep reading on reddit ➡
Side note: my grandmother passed away yesterday and I’m missing her memorial I order to bring my dad in. Definitely worth it but it sucks.
