Computer Repair Near Me

I have an old Thinkpad and some other electronics that I want to fix. I think I have the parts to fix it (system board issue--have another board). I'd like to learn how to fix things like this and would want someone to do it with. Is anyone a part of--or knows of--a group like this near (or preferably in) St. Petersburg, FL?

I've already checked places like Craigslist and 2600.
