The troubles with the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077 do not end. As it turns out, the game's premiere even interested UOKiK.
While in the case of PC versions, the ratings for Cyberpunk 2077 are good or even very good (despite visible errors), the console versions proved to be very disappointing. For some people it was even unplayable, so there were a lot of players asking for returns, and Sony even decided to remove the game from PlayStation Store. Additionally, due to problems with the game, CD Projekt Red stock price falls which resulted in class actions against the company. Now the UOKiK is also interested in Cyberpunk problems.
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna was the first to inform about it. Małgorzata Cieloch, the spokesperson of the UOKiK, explained the scope of control. As she stated, it is primarily a matter of checking the progress of work on the promised patches, which should make the console versions of the game playable.
>We ask the entrepreneur to explain the problems with the game and actions taken by them. We will check how the producer is working on making corrections or solving difficulties that make it impossible to play on consoles, but also how he intends to act towards people who have made complaints and are dissatisfied with the purchase due to the lack of possibility to play the game on their equipment despite previous assurances of the producer.
At this point, it is difficult to conclude whether CD Projekt will be punished. The decision, in this case, will depend on what explanations the representatives of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection will hear in these cases. The company will certainly not underestimate this, as the UOKiK president's decision may result in a fine of up to 10% of the annual revenue. This is of course the worst scenario from CD Projekt's point of view.
We will probably hear more about the case. Let us remind you that despite a lot of confusion and problems, the sale of Cyberpunk 2077 is performing very well. After 10 days from the release, the game has found 13 million buyers, now the result is probably much higher.

It won't determine who is President, and will be equally as meaningless as a debate. But, it will be more entertaining for me, and probably get higher ratings
Intro: remembrancers had been assigned to write Perturabo's biography and went to a grand-child of his foster brother for stories.
>'I tell you what. I will tell you of my ancestor, Andos, who grew up with the primarch, and lost everything to him. You can draw whatever conclusions from that you like. Then you're leaving.'
>'Thank you,' said Marissa warmly. 'That seems fair.'
>'Andos was a noble man,' Gerademos began. 'He was kind and thoughtful - indeed, he was so different to the rest of Dammekos' kin there were whispers he was a foreign seed sprouted in the poison soil of that house.'
>'Is it true?' asked Olivier.
>'No. I myself have been gene-typed to settle the matter. Dammekos was my great-grandfather.'
>'Then you could be rich,' said Olivier.
>'Rich?' Gerademos smiled humourlessly. 'I would have nothing to do with him. He was as bad as his foster-child,' said the smith angrily. 'Andos was a great craftsman. Were it not for Perturabo, he would have been the genius of this age. There was little art or craft he could not turn his hand to, nothing he could not make beautiful. None could surpass him, except Perturabo. Do you think Dammekos, his own father, saw that? He did not. Dammekos was bedazzled by Perturabo, and what service the foreign youth could do for him.'
>'But Perturabo did see Andos' worth, and it made him seethe. He goaded Andos constantly into competition, vying with him to see who could make the most marvellous art or fashion the finest weapon. Everyone knew Perturabo exceeded Andos in every way, none more so than Andos himself, but the mere possibility that anyone, even his own adoptive brother, could better Perturabo's talents, stoked his rage. Perturabo always had an excess of rage. So Perturabo contested with Andos, and beat him, and contested with him again, and beat him, and each time he exulted in his triumph. It was pathetic, like a ten year-old crowing that he has outmatched his three year-old brother in the wrestling ring.'
>'This does not accord with the official accounts of his life,' said Marissa.
>'Of course it doesn't. Perturabo wrote the official accounts. Before the Emperor came, he presented a face to the world that he thought of as calm and commanding, but was in truth sullen. He hid his envies, though not all of his rages. This story was told to me by my father, who heard it from my grandfather. You want a true... keep reading on reddit ➡

It's so irritating watching a cooking show while trying to get new recipes and ideas just to have 30% of the season filled up with heritage stories.
This is how every show goes. The pilot gets to the Hispanic contestant "I'm Hispanic so I really want my dishes to reflect that to make my familia proud" crying starts.. "my Madre has 1 foot and 3 fingers so I know this would mean THE WORLD to her if I won to make all of ____proud"
Episode 2-137. Camera goes to Hispanic contestant starting their food. "today I'm making fajitas because it really reflects my heritage and who I truly am. I think the judges will really understand Hispanic pride and what our heritage really means to us through this dish".
I'll spoil the next 200 episodes for you... It's the SAME SHIT. Is that not fucking bizzare?? Is that all your personality consists of? Could you imagine some white hill jack named Jeb doing that?
"today I'm makin mashed taters (wipes a tear away). Virginia is really portant to me. I wanna make Clyde and mamma proud"
Get the fuck out of here. We're here to watch you cook. Not to learn a geography lesson and hear a sob story.
The quality of the servers. Most of us know how bad the servers are. Some, including myself, may say they're awful, especially during WL. Friday is the worst. But I have to play games Friday too, I just have to, 30 sweaty toxic Fifa games aren't a walk in the park, to get them just like that in two days. Dividing the competition in 4 days would mean the players would play at more different hours, hence (slightly...) better functionality of the servers.
Time. Some of us have jobs. Some even have a social life (not during these times, but yeah). Having to find the time for 30 games, in what is an interval of 2.5 days (not counting the first half of Friday, when work happens) is just hard and feels as a bloody chore.
Fatigue. I'm talking about mental fatigue, but also physical one, in my case. My hands hurt after playing, especially if I play a lot during the same day, I don't really know why, but they do. 4 days would mean less games each day, which would help with the stress/pain caused by this mess of a game. The toxicity of others (time waste, skill whoring, toxic celebrating etc.) + the frustration cause by the huge inconsistency would be a bit diminished, don't you think?
Why I made this thread? Because for another WL, I had extremely poor connection during most of my games today, and it was just unbearable. And having to play at least 6-7 games each Friday, in my case, with such lag, just so I can finish all 30 at the end, it feels frustrating, unfair and too much close to a "second job".
Plus, the rewards are just awful. I haven't got even one good red pick so far, surely I'm not the only one, and I sweated weekend after weekend, just to finish my games. Letting us play Monday too would be the least they can do...
