“Someone who drowns in 6 feet of water is just as dead as someone who drowns in 20 feet of water. Stop comparing traumas, stop yours or anyone else’s trauma because it wasn’t “as bad” as someone else’s. This isn’t a competition, we all deserve support and recovery.” It’s a quote I found online, but reddit won’t let me credit the person

Hey guys. I've seen many posts here saying something like, "Men have no problems, they make all the problems", or something like, "The truth is that you women/girls have it easy, and yet you aren't thankful". And here's something I would like to say:
STOP IT. STOP IT, ALL OF YOU! STOP MAKING THIS A COMPETITION ABOUT WHICH GENDER HAS IT EASY AND SHOULD SHUT UP.
This isn't like that. We shouldn't play this 'blame game'.
Yes, some men rape. Some women do too. That doesn't mean all men rape and are disgusting.
Yes, some women play with feelings. Some men do too. That doesn't mean all women play with hearts and manipulate them like puppets.
No one gender has it easy. Life is hard. There's no higher likelihood of crime because you're a guy. There's no higher likelihood of cheating because you're a girl.
Stop this. It's time we actually acknowledge that both sides have problems. It's time we actually stop this stupid and unnecessary 'competing'.
Alright. If you're here, thanks for read... keep reading on reddit ➡
The program is “come dine with me” for anyone interested and I’m watching it from Ireland so don’t really know about American traditions but this one seemed a bit far fetched even to me....
Does you all really eat your sweet potatoes with marshmallows at thanksgiving? Or is he just bullshitting us?
Edit: holy shit I was at work and came back to all your replies! Thanks!
Trans females are born biologically male so naturally they will develop differently. Right now the IAAF requires females to be below a certain testosterone level in order to compete. I don’t think this could ever be fair. Rachel McKinnon is a trans female that just dominated and won two world titles in cycling and she’s trying to justify her win staying that she’s allowed to compete against other women because she is legally and societally accepted as one. Biologically she has gone through puberty as male and those changes will never change her physical build no matter the amount of testosterone reduced. I don’t know enough about biology to say anything about converting at a younger age prior to puberty - but I’m already conflicted about that being a thing. Overall this just seems so unfair to biological females.
basically we're both in a club but she's in a higher position than me. basically I was reaching out to her and asking her if anything was going on w the club during quarantine and if I could help and never got a response and heard nothing from the gc. later, I find out she moved everyone to a new gc w/o me, ignored all my messages and told everyone I was kicked off bc I wasn't participating and doing my responsibilities. confronted her and she admitted that she saw my text messages and made up another excuse that my position wasn't needed at the moment (if this was true she didn't even bother to tell me???) but she would hold new submissions for my position soon and told me she wanted to give it to some lowerclassmen for diversity. tf, I literally organized meetings (held them when she didn't bother to show up), and have experience w my position n she's just gonna give it up to some new member who hasn't even been in the club at all? literally wasted all my time if I was just gonna be... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hello, I am looking for an anime which has training sequences, like hunter x hunter or naruto. I know It's something weird to ask for. But I like when people get stronger and all this things. I also like stupidly overpowered characters, like Meliodas or Escanor in Nanatzu no Tazai. I would like this recommendations to be for good animes, if it's possible. Thank you!

So first of all, I'm an 19 year old guy and everyone involved in the butt competition was between the ages of 18 and 20. Alt-account as I don't want my friends to know my actual reddit account. TL;DR at the end.
So it al started around a week ago when some girls in my friend group came together and started drinking. They started boasting about their butt and next thing you know they wanted to do a best butt competition. I wasn't there so I don't know details but we were send a message in a group chat. Rules were simple, if you wanted to join you just had to send a pic of your butt to this certain girl who would present them anonymously to 8 guys and they would all vote for the picture of the best butt.
Well, I thought it would be funny to join, but I knew that they wouldn't take it seriously because my ass is naturally extremely hairy. So I did the most logical thing at the time. I shaved it. I took the shaving equipment I normally use for my face, switched the knifes and went... keep reading on reddit ➡
Okay, so when I was in high school, I was in a competition where schools sent in teams of 5: a writer, a director, and three actors. the writers write a play, directors pick plays and cast actors out of the pool of actors from all the schools, and they have the day to put the show together.
I went as a writer, and I wrote a play about a phone obsessed teenage girl whose family died during a natural disaster while on vacation. The message of the play was supposed to be about unplugging and spending time with family, until the actress playing the girl messed everything up.
My play was the last play of the night, and everything was going well. Until the end of the play. She was only supposed to cry. What she did was go to her sister’s body, took a selfie, and posted it on Instagram, saying “This will get me so many pity likes.”
The room roared in laughter, but I felt like I got stabbed. The girl who directed was sitting next to me, and she told me she didn’t tell the actors to do that.... keep reading on reddit ➡
You know, that company that builds some guitars in my town of Nashville and over in Montana has now become quite the behemoth.
Gibson Brands, registered to the corporate tax haven state of Delaware, since around 2018 has for all intents and purposes been owned by KKR. KKR is the world's 5th largest Private Equity firm. For those unfamiliar, through a policy called quantitative easing (which is up to a 7 trillion dollar balance), Private Equity firms are considered by many like Billionaire financier Stanley Drunkenmiller to be [th... keep reading on reddit ➡
