Both groups are chained to their ideologies and are unable to think outside the "in" group.

Both groups are trying to convert or undermine the other.

Conservatives are trapped in racism.

Liberals wrap everything under racism.

Conservatives are trying to maintain their views, and liberals are trying to control every view.

I smell a war coming on.

I am a divided person, I don't excel at anything, I'm good at a lot of things but I have come to the conclusion that no matter how hard I try, I can't become a master at something that is except for one thing.

Keeping myself in line, I have very deep darkness within me, one that is balanced by such a bright pure light that I can not comprehend what I am or who I'm supposed to be or become.

I don't pick sides and if I do then I do something that balances that right after, it's like I'm feeding both sides to keep them happy and somedays when I don't I can feel myself becoming crazy, with urges of casting metal into the organs of those who have wronged humanity, and in contrast, I feel an urge to grab the world into my arms and become the saviour of all.

Do I have to choose, what will become of me if I choose a side or can I live a life of contentment by staying in the middle, there are three choices and none of them feel right.

Outside politics, outside the law, outside the norms—the seditionists have in fact declared their independence from the rest of us. January 6 was indeed their 1776: They declared that they want to live in a different America from the one the rest of us inhabit, ruled over by a different president chosen according to a different rule book. And yet they cannot be wished away, or sent away, or somehow locked up. They will not leave of their own accord, and Americans who accept Biden’s lawful victory won’t either. We have no choice except to coexist.

But how? Clearly we need regulation of social media, but that’s years away. Of course we need better education, but that doesn’t help us deal with the armed men who were standing outside the Ohio statehouse this week.

Title. I just think it'd be neat to have a Star Wars or Mass effect scenario where we see aliens mingling with the people of the city. Just imagine Eliksni in the city markets or cabal in bars. We did see that in the Cayde's Six comics in the Spider's palace but I just want to know if there will ever be peace between us and them.

No less than FIVE different people messaged me over the course of this week trying desperately to get me to provide photos of my daughter who will turn 12 this year so they can introduce her on the zoom meeting. They also sent a questionnaire. Although I repeatedly ignored them, they kept sending more of my vague acquaintances to me with this request until finally I sent a few damn photos.

My daughter won’t be attending the dumb ass zoom meeting to clarify. She is 11 years old and would be bored to tears. They just need to do it so bad... it’s so important to them. Why?

This is the kind of thing that makes coexisting hard for me. My daughter is not a Mormon. She has not been blessed or baptized. She is not technically part of this club, you don’t need to introduce her to people when she isn’t even there. She may attend an activity in the future, if it sounds fun and not boring... but honestly if that is the first time she meets the group... it will still be the first time.
