Thinking back to what I thought where the CoD glory days; CoD 4, MW2, MW3 and comparing it to MW 2019, makes me think this CoD is actually the most balanced, properly supported CoD ever.
Imagine emptying a clip into someone and seeing a little red medic sign pop up, yeah, that was juggernaut perk....
Chasing that guy into a building and finally killing him, only to watch him drop a grenade upon his death, and kill you in return, yeah, that was martyrdom perk.
Getting noobtubed by a camper (yes camping has been in CoD for over 15 years)...
to then go find that camper, drop him, but to then still be killed by him with his pistol, yes, that was the last stand perk.
Or how about going 3-0 in Search and Destroy, “Server interrupted”, wait what? Game over, CoD 4 didn’t even have dedicated servers (PS3) Back to the menu, game loss.
What about getting 1 hit killed EVERY TIME by an exploit, the M40A3 + ACOG never got fixed in CoD 4 and ran rampant in every lobby. Exploits are fixed prett... keep reading on reddit ➡
Modern warfare is the first CoD game I've bought since black ops 2, and I'm absolutely loving it. It has everything I want in a CoD game, and I just think it's too good to be forgotten after a year.
Do you guys think there's maybe even the slightest chance that maybe activation would decide to skip a year of CoD and instead decide to keep updating MW in the same manner as the other "live service" games like Fortnite or Overwatch?
I just think I'll be pretty bummed out if modern warfare was going to get overshadowed by black ops 5 or another dumb sci-fi setting game that made me avoid the series for so long
I started playing this game right after I got bored with Fortnite a couple of months ago and I have been loving it. The only problems with the game are the server lag, but it is understandable due to the number of people playing it. The communication from Activision to the community has been superb and I really feel like this game is going to last for a very long time. The addition of creating a loadout creates a personal touch to the game, as you are able to create a gun to your needs which is super cool
Context: I'm a teen , I was playing CoD Modern warfare (2019). TDM
EP: The kid's mom
K: the kid itself
Me: I don't know
RP: random players
I was playing TDM with K when he said
K: "Dude! you have the MW2 ghost's skin!"
K: "Dude give me the skin!"
Me: "I can't give skins in this game"
K: "Buy me the pack then"
Me: "Hell naw"
RP: "Hey kid if you want the pack, tell your mom, maybe she'll buy it"
The kid sent friend request so i accepted it.
He invited to a ps4 party
K: "Hey dude....Listen I'm sorry for what happened yesterday"
I could hear on the background the EP
EP: "Give me the fucking microphone"
Me: "Hello Mrs. Are you (name)'s mom?"
EP: "Yes and I want you to buy that thing to my little boy"
I could hear thekid on the background
K: "Don't do it! You are embarrasing me!"
Me: "Why shouldI buy it? I mean, you can buy it yourself, you're his mom right?"
EP: "Don't tell me what to do you little fuck!"... keep reading on reddit ➡
Loaded up COD WW2; got it for free from PS+. I see I already have a load of COD Points and I didn’t know that those COD Points were the ones I earned and bought from MW. I waste them on supply drops cause I didn’t care much about getting far in WW2.
Returned to MW to find a lovely COD Point balance of 100.
Don’t be like me kids.
I legitimately don't remember this being part of the bundle but here it is. Also included are the Fear Not and Bravery endowment packs.
I'll be using reddit raffler sometime Monday night to pick a winner, to whom the steam keys will be provided via PM. Just comment with your second favorite song to be eligible.
Congratulations to /u/Blobblob122 ! You will receive a PM with your steam keys shortly!
Aside from apparently non-spoofable HWID bans, they've added the requirement to register via text (SMS) on a phone number. The online phone numbers (like Google Phone) are filtered out and rejected. Disposable SIM cards are accepted, but that requires a physical purchase in a store and in many countries a full real name registration and those SIM cards are also completely unavailable in some countries, like for example China.
Nik, this might be the way. We already have a 2FA as a security option, let's go all out and require text message registration to play the game with a new account and get rid of those little fucks.
Think about it guys, PS5 was getting reveal with a bunch of games ( CoD 2020 probably being one) since the PS5 event is delayed, I strongly believe they planned on some sort of event in Season 4 that could tie into CoD 2020. Because, like, how big is Season 4?? PS5 would be on international headlines but season 4 is just an update, hell, Valorant is way bigger than Season 4 of CoD and it got released. Either Activision thinks they are bigger than what they are in reality or my theory is true. What's your opinion about this?
Yup, they did it again ! As if the first lucky draw scams weren’t enough... So today I want to talk about the heat wave crates. I guess most of you know that iFerg spent more than 700$ to unlock the Asm 10 heat wave skin. Well he wasn’t “unlucky”, it was supposed to happen this way. Let me explain you with details and statistical proofs.
First, according to the in-game stats, each purple skins in the heat wave crates(the knife, PDW, dlq33 and ASM10) have a 1% drop probability, so normally you should drop them equally... right ? Wrong, Activision is one sneaky company, and they changed the probability so that you have way more chance to unlock the heat wave knife skin rather than the ASM10 one...
Thanks to Hawksnest, he counted the number of times youtubers opened the heat wave crates, there was 841 crates opened in total. Out of those 841 crates, 18 were the knife skin, 7 for the pdw, 6 for the dlq, and only 2 for the asm10. Well if you’re not that dumb you should be already starti... keep reading on reddit ➡
Call of Duty's player base has been toxic for many years. Myself included. While we acknowledge our nastiness and trash talk as jokes, we fail to mention the things that have stuck with us or had a significant impact on our lives.
As a preface, I want to recognize that I have said things I regret, things I have forgotten, things that were downright disrespectful, and possibly things that have had an everlasting impact on another gamer. I have justified these statements as "minuscule things" by telling myself, "this is just how gaming is," "if people say shit to me I can say shit to others," and "if you can't take the trash talk just disable the voice chat." I talk shit at the end of games every now and again just like most people. However, some of the normalized phrases within our community as well as other games are absolutely atrocious and shameful.
Being in this subreddit, I understand many of you might utilize rationalizations like those I have mentioned. That is contingent on... keep reading on reddit ➡
Modern Warfare delivered everything I needed for now. The game has a great 6v6/10v10, a fun Gunfight, a massive Ground War mode, an epic Warzone Battle Royale. I also bought the Battle Pass... So I realize I don't need a new COD this year. I would love if they continued to support this COD in 2021. Maybe deliver a Patch Year 2 with some new maps, weapons and Battle Pass.
For those that don't know TheGamingRevolution is probably the best leaker for Call of Duty stuff and he usually gets everything right about anything he leaks about Cod.
So for him to say cod 2020 won't be revealed today when it looked certain to be announced is a very bold/interesting claim
I was the founder of "CompCodVids" now owned by Dexerto. I feel like I have some interesting information to share, if anybody has any questions...
(Doing this as i'm feeling nostalgic and bored)
I made 6, 1,000,000 view+ videos about CoD Esports.
That's more than the official Call of Duty League and MLG YouTube channels.
All from my bedroom, with AVS video editor.
* I didn't edit the "The MOST HATED Call of Duty Player - Parasite Documentary" but that title got the video an extra million views. (See that difference in views between similar videos)

So just noticed something. Under the PS+ tab on the console, when downloading Call of Duty:WWII you get the “PS Plus Exclusive” in yellow tag. But for the other 2 games they show up as FREE.
Would also make a lot more sense why May’s PS+ games were underwhelming. Sony probably put a lot towards CoD:WWII.
Also with the rumour of a PS5 event next week it would not be surprising to have Sony reveal the June PS+ games then.
Edit: Guess its the not the case anymore. Its part of June’s lineup.
Infinity Ward, if you're gonna make everything in the store super expensive, can we at least have actual timers to see when these bundles reset? Maybe show a preview of what the next bundles will be?
I feel like this is the most unintuitive way to do a store for a game, if it wasn't for this absolutely terrible setup I probably would have bought so many more bundles than now.
I've been waiting like 2 weeks for the same bundle and haven't bought a single other one because of how bad this store is.
