with the sheer amount of bloodshed does the cutting chain ever get clogged from constantly tearing through enemies' blood and guts?
Hi guys, This is my first post so any help would be appreciated. I'm not a stranger to skincare but now I'm in my 30s my skin has gone insane! My face is tight after splashing with plain water and looks dull. Pores aren't invisible but definitely not something I consider an issue. I was using a variety of hydrating products - laneige cream skin refiner, an HA serum, hado labo plumping gel.etc. However, after seeing improvement for a couple of weeks I develop angry painful red lumps under my skin which are just watery bumps that then scar when they "burst". My skin now looks thick and dull and angry. Am I cursed?! Any product recs?!
What I mean by "memes" and shitposting are regurgitated facebook .jpgs. It's usually the same people doing that and not contributing anything else relevant to the sub. They are lowering the quality of this sub.
I recently got promoted from dishwasher to kitchen crew and I’m looking for new shoes. I usually wear the $20 non slip “converse” from Walmart cause they get super dirty, but now that I work in the kitchen after each shift my legs and feet hurt because I am constantly on my feet. The only thing is I hate clogs. Idk why I’m just not a fan, we wear them in pastry school and it’s alright but I don’t like them for a work environment.
My budget is relatively low since I’m a college student, probably between $40-$80. Maybe a little higher if need be.
I was thinking of getting Mozo Mavens from SFC, does anyone know if those are good?
Hi! Line cook here with a recently acquired stimulus check looking for a place to buy some non slip clogs. Looking for danskos or birks possibly but not set on those brands at all, just looking for a recommendation on shoe stores that have a good selection of non slips
Uh earlier today Slama said they didn't nerf Kolgrim/Clog because they believe that there are people fond of the archetype, but that these people should be more vocal about it. So I just wanted to say that I genuinely like the archetype as I find it's really unique.
That's it I guess.
hypothetical situation for a friend
New homeowner, never had to deal with this kind of stuff before as a renter. Our tub was draining, but slowly. First thing I did was unscrew the drain cap and pulled out a bunch of hair. That only seemed to make it worse. So I bought some Green Gobbler and tried that. Then dirty water (hopefully not sewage) came back up. I realized later that more came up when I ran the bathroom sink. Internet tells me that means the clog is past where the pipes meet. So before getting an auger or hiring someone, I decided to try the other half of Green Gobbler down the sink (tub never drained) overnight, then followed their advice just now of pouring boiling water down sink to clear it. Now even grosser water is coming up from tub. See photos below. What should my next step be? Is it getting grosser because it’s loosening up? Also, if I did buy an auger (Home Depot has some inexpensive ones nearby), how do I get this overflow cap off? I tried prying slightly with a screwdriver but I don’t want to break it.
Also, aside from not knowing if an auger will fit through the tub drain, I’d really rather not remove that drain because I had to silicon it down myself after a plumber realized the pipe underneath is not attached at the drain in any real way. It’s just aligned up to it and he replaced the tiny little rubber washer with a big, thick spongy one after a leak under house was discovered. I am not sure how these are normally attached or why it can’t be, but I’m nervous that removing drain cover or running an auger down it will jostle the alignment of the pipe off again.
Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.
Update: After pouring boiling water down sink, tub still drained slowly but faster than before, so I tried boiling water down tub and it took a few minutes but not hours like before. Should I just keep flushing hot water down tub? Or sink? Running water down sink still backs up water and nastiness in tub, is that bad or is that helpful? I.e.; Should I just keep running sink and letting water back up in tub first?
I got some merrell’s but they’re starting to wear out faster than I had hoped. I need something built to last.
I posted this (and a bit more) as a response to another post but think helpful so abridged it and posting here:
I have a bit more time today to share some things that may help to understand CLOG better. https://github.com/rabbibotton/clog
CLOG is for the web very new tech.
CLOG at its core uses html-over-websockets or js-over-websocket (in fact based on the first production framework ever written 9 years ago GNOGA for Ada for that technique) for communication between the "server" your app and the "client" rendering engine, ie a browser or browser control.
CLOG does use jQuery as part of the communication pipeline to create a compatibility layer. This is easily changed and may happen post 1.0
Do a source view on a CLOG page, you may be surprise there is nothing but the boot html file that loads boot.js and nothing else. CLOG uses the browser to render a Lisp program, your app is not an html and js program not even is spirit - its a Lisp soul in a browser window :) - You can see something more htmlish if you use devtools to see "elements"
The main goal of CLOG is that you do not need to know JS and HTML, it helps for sure, but no need. CLOG-GUI for example renders for you a beautiful desktop app or desktop like app over the internet. CLOG-WEB (in the works now) will allow rendering a stylish "web page" like app (and using some techniques using outerHTML with CLOG and boot pages can design websites that are most static using Lisp! CLOG then serves as the replacement for react, reflex, node and a dozen other (imo :) outdated (RESTful in peace baby :) methods of client server web programming techniques if even needed. CLOG is as I said new tech that is now just ripening and universal enough, Lisp is riding the tip of the wave now :-/ cowabunga - The greatest issue is getting people to understand the tech (think x windows more then netscape) or confusing it with using html 5 canvases as frame buffers ala gtk etc.
I can't over emphasize enough that this is a Lisp framework and not an HTML or JS one. There are many non-html/js things missing, that is intentional. They may exist in the future in the guts for CLOG but a user of CLOG sees Lisp.
I want CLOG to leverage every great Lisp tech I can to make CLOG even more amazing. My full picture of CLOG and where I am going with all this (CLOG spoiler alert) is a set of tools that allow a manager non-techy to design a full website, desktop or mobile (ideally all 3 i
Edit: thank you to everyone who replied! My landlord has decided to salt the earth on another issue that I brought up in addition to the partial clog so I won't be playing nice anymore. I will be informing him of his duty to repair the clog by a request to repair email along with the other issue to keep a record and then if he still refuses then I will be filing with the LTB. Thank you again to everyone!
Kitchen sink and laundry room washing machine and sink on same pipe. Is it inevitable that the laundry room sink will eventually back up?
The water draining from the washing machine in the basement laundry room was draining very slowly and causing the laundry room sink to back up and the standpipe to overflow from the drain hose.
My question is, this is an older townhouse with the kitchen sink on the same drain pipe to the basement with the washing machine draining into that pipe as well from the standpipe. Is it inevitable that it will eventually clog up with food and grease? Is this caused by something else all together?
My landlord is claiming that it was neglect on my part and I have to pay for the plumber. But I don't put large bits of food or things like bacon grease down the drain and I only use the washing machine as normal. I can't think of anything I have done to cause this.
Thank you in advance
Just moved out with my bf and found out he clogs the toilets very regularly, like about twice a week minimum. I literally didn't think it was possible but his poo is so massive and solid that it doesn't go past the toilet pipe. I tried looking this up online but all that it suggested was that it could linked to constipation somewhere I thought I'd try my luck with reddit. Is this the result of constipation?
I'm legitimately worried, it's wonder how he can pass those out without tearing himself out. He says it's painful and that he sometimes bleed. We eat the same type of food - mostly vegetables (we're both vegetarians). I don't have any issues regarding to that and he doesn't eat much more than I do. He exercises a lot too. I sincerely don't get it. We rang a gp to get an appointment but they never called us back.
Anybody has any advice/explanations? Kinda desperate and tired of unclogging the toilet all the time :(
I went to the ER yesterday because we thought I had an infection and my PCP said go in. Everything was all good and they said just keep an eye out. They told me my symptoms were just my body reacting to the tube replacement. I have been moving up my feeding rate pretty rapidly after replacement because it was my first tube replacement and somehow "tube is ready to use immediately" translated in my mind to "probably close to normal capacity too, but I'm going to be smart and not do that the first night". Big brain time. So I did okay and my husband kept asking if I wanted the rate increased. I never stopped saying no! And last night I was high on ER meds and he asked if I was ready for it to go up and I said, "might as well go all the way up, I'm so close!" Sealing my fate. Kiss of death to my ass and our porcelain. Going up from 40 to 45 is a huge difference. Especially when you have been in the ER all day with people smooshing on your belly and putting contrast in your tube. So. Effing. Dumb. 🤦 But what are you going to do when you're on ER drugs and just excited to be alive because you don't have sepsis?! YOLO! Amirite? So I woke up to my butt, or rather my butt woke me, and so the poo poo train left station with no destination in sight because it never stops it just keeps going around and around. So to the toilet and back I went on repeat. I finally texted my home health nurse and was like "I can't stop pooping, why can't I stop pooping?? I had to turn off my food because it is just going through me. What is happening with me?!" And she asked me immediately what my feeding rate was. And I knew immediately what I had done to myself. I even texted her as soon as she asked me if she thought it was just dumping. Yep. Oh the joys of gastroparesis. I took a little bath, not too much water because tube, and cleaned up a little. I'm on the couch now with a heating pad writing this. So far this is the longest I've gone without pooping so I'm hoping I'm out of the woods. I felt so sick. I was having hot flashes and nausea and cold sweats. Ugh. Dumping is the worst. I won't be making that mistake again. Hopefully. 🤷
Austin water has a lot of scale and sediment, and water going off and back on can churn it up in your older water heaters and then push it to the filters in your sink faucets and showers clogging them up. You might think water pressure is low when you just have a clogged faucet filter. (This only applies to houses without water softeners of course)
Unscrew the end of your faucet where the water comes out and rinse out any sediment clogs in the aerator/filter. Same for your shower or kitchen sprayer, unscrew the sprayer heads (where they meet the hoses) and clean out any sediment.
You might have to do it a few times during the day over the course of a few days until the sediment has washed out of your system,
Check them to see if they have a history of posting things that have clogged the feed in the past like Robinhood transfer, broker limits, etc.
Edit: Sheesh! downvote Mafia is in full force. Fuck you shills! You may have my karma, but you will never get my gamestonks.
