So that is another reason why you are insanely powerful doing this. Keep going, you got this.
There are a couple of people in my extended family who sometimes come to visit. They are heavy smokers and always have a pack with them.
Not only do they not give a damn about spreading that ghastly smoke smell indoors, but whenever they're done smoking near the sleeping area, there's a chance they will see the clothes hung up to dry and put their cigarettes out on them. Yes, put cigarettes out...on clothing! Clothing that isn't Theres and shouldn't even be used for that purpose anyway. now I can't wear some clothes because they're riddled with crusty burn holes. I have no idea who in their right mind would do this, despite being told off already.
(Edit) they're actually really nice people. The one that did the deed the most is usually really chill, but mental illness stuff had them acting this way and I was in the middle of a grumpy mood when writing this after realizing my favorite outside clothes were covered in burn holes. Thanks for participating everyone. :)
Thanks for your responses. Looks like there are a few of you out there but most smokers can switch off to sleep.
To everyone who has quit, congrats! Everyone who wants to, you can do it!
...WAY back in 2009 (my last living grandparent died and I bought my last pack).
I now can’t stand secondhand smoke
What really makes no sense is I’ve been thinking of buying another pack lately.
What the hell is this about? Has anyone had a similar situation?
Long story short, I bought a house last year but recently got a roommate to help cover expenses. I knew he smoked weed but he agreed not to do it in the house. He kept his promise until I believe recently. As it's gotten colder, I believe he doesn't want to do it outside/in his car so I'm pretty sure he just does it in his room whenever I'm not home. I believe this because when I come home from work sometimes I'll smell it in the house. I don't have a lot of experience with weed outside smoking for a period in college but I know the difference between smoked/un smoked weed. He denies it when I ask and persists that it's just some newer stuff that smells stronger but I know he's full of shit.
Anyway, my roommate lying aside, does marijuana smoke have the same effect on a house as cigarette smoke does? I remember doing open houses while searching for a home and remember as soon as we walked in we could tell a house was owned by a smoker, no matter how much febreeze the realtor sprayed. However I've never experienced that issue with weed. My concern is that if marijuana smoke does stain the smell of a room or house, that my roommate will be bringing my house value down or make it harder for me to sell.
Thank you so much everyone for your kind words, and for everyone who donated an award! ❤️ It's all very much appreciated!
