MASfan already revealed that Henry and Christina chose to get a divorce, but today she also dropped that Henry already has a new girlfriend.
I loved her this episode. Its funny to me how production is working overtime to make viewers dislike her when it only does the opposite for folks like myself. They played this girl by matching her with someone not suitable for her and then now they are trying to play her again with the edit. She's not infallible, she's imperfectly perfect and thats relatable. Meanwhile Karen and Brett are becoming the villains of the show and they dont even have bad edits. They are just being themselves and coming across very poorly (to say the least)
>I am one of a handful of non-white faces in the Bon Appétit Test Kitchen.
>Like Sohla El-Waylly, I have never received a single dollar for my video contributions. i have never received a merit raise or promotion for my work in almost three years of service. I’m starting to unpack why I’ve never felt empowered to ask for more. I’m also starting to reckon with my place in a brand that has upheld the toxic culture of white power in old media, including my complicity in a system that made me believe I should feel lucky that I got a seat at their table.
>I was hired in 2017 as an associate editor working on the print magazine with a base salary of 68,000$.Since then, I’ve become an increasingly regular face on our Youtube channel. I’ve ignored an inner voice saying that more work should probably mean more pay, especially work for one of Condé nast’s most lucrative cash cows.
Really thought she'd be unlikable judging from the beginning of MAFS... But she's been way more patient, kind, and much more of a sport during the honeymoon than i would have been...
I'd have def lost my shit by this point...
I know it was probably something she said off the cuff but I thought it was actually very genuine and just really sweet when Christina said "im gonna make it my life mission to make henry have more fun". Like, not in a way that she felt sorry for him, just like hey my guy, let me show you the way. Reminded me of that quote "there is no way to happiness, happiness is the way". I hope they make it. :)
I felt horrible for her during the entire season. She was constantly subject to verbal abuse from Colton and Alicia and never got a second to just be herself and have fun in the game and play. Episode 6 is probably the worst of it, with Colton and Alicia telling her to either just accept that she’s going to be voted out at the next tribal or jump in the fire and get medevaced. I don’t understand what she even did, she was just someone who was on the outs and was trying to stay in the game and save herself and she constantly got subject to verbal abuse. She seems like such a nice woman, I truly felt terrible for her.
I need to know more about the fall out from that five-year relationship where she apparently lost all of her friends and basically had to pay acquaintances to be her bridesmaids. I need that tea badly. And excuse me, five years and he never once got you flowers? Hm. She needs therapy.
I actually love Christina. I know some have been saying she’s rude, but I don’t think so. I think she was nervous on her wedding night, but that showed how ready and excited she was for this. She seems all in and really willing to make it work. She mentioned that it was her first time with a guy like Henry and the first time she’s been the aggressor in the relationship, but she was all for it and willing to see how that worked for her. I also love how passionate she is about traveling. Since she is a flight attendant, that’s a huge huge part of her life. Traveling is her passion, her hobby, her job. And the best part is that she’s so excited to share that and experience that with her life partner. Once you see a lot of the world and have the privilege to travel, your perspective changes. I think she wants to be with someone with that same perspective and is looking forward to seeing that in her partner. I’m very straightforward and say what’s on my mind, and so is she. But I can see sh... keep reading on reddit ➡
I think Henry voiced his concerns about Brett to Christina but maybe asked her not to say that he said anything. Henry from the start has disliked Brett (for good reason) and I'm willing to bet he told Christina about how he behaved during the bachelor party. I think she was looking for red flags because she was warned that he was a fuckboy, and that's why she felt so strongly about telling Olivia
It didn’t seem like he was happy with the match. I’ve never seen a participant avoid looking at their new spouse like he did. To add to the ackwardness that was already in full effect, he invited a bunch of drunk, immature women he dated to the wedding. Isn’t that like a bad omen or something? Not to mention how extremely rude the girls were. The one girl was talking about being judgmental towards Christina. Talk about throwing stones in a glass house. She was drunk and acting super trashy on national television. This can’t lead anywhere good.
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
I can’t tell if Henry is just nervous, but he’s pretty standoffish towards Christina. No follow-up questions, not a lot of eye contact, hardly any compliments, and a lot of silence. I’m trying to figure out why the experts picked him. Hmm....
Name: Christina Nightingale
Face claim: Here
Weight: Erm, no
Clothing/attire: Denim jacket over a white shirt with a pair of ripped jeans
Personality type: INFP-T
Moral Alignment: Neutral good
Christina is a sweet, caring person and a bit shy, she can be a bit of an airhead at times and is pretty naive. She loves to cook and sing and is always there to help people however she can. She's great at listening and is always there to let people vent to her. She can be a bit shy at first but is very warm and friendly once she gets used to her surroundings.
Demigod related ailments/mental health issues:
She’s getting a bit of a wonky edit, no doubt, but she’s clearly doing her best with Henry. Christina is not the one playing loopy carnival music in every Henry scene, that’s production. I recognize odds may be slim, but I’m still rooting for the two of them.
So last week I created a post defending Christina for all the hate she was getting and I am so happy I did.
She has the patience of Job dealing with Henry. I am really hoping he is just getting a horrible edit and that he is really not that non communicative but hearing his Dad speak I would not be surprised if he is. Btw, his dad is such an asshole. If he is, i am interested to know who he knows in production because there is no way he went through the entire casting process and no one saw his personality as a downside.
Sure Christina dragged on and on about this being Henry's first time out of the country BUT Henry has given her nothing else to work with and she is comfortable talking about travel, so travel it is. She clearly has her own anxieties and it must be increasing as she continues to get so little back from Henry. Until he puts more on the table to be spoken about we will be hearing abou... keep reading on reddit ➡

They start nearly every podcast with a dumb political discussion that only applies to them, then transition into discussions about gender politics that they clearly don't understand, THEN they get to the actual show.
Why do they think their audience wants to hear about the rich people's issues with how the government of California (one of the most densely populated and naturally, highest affected states) is correctly restricting their "normal" in an effort to protect others? It makes zero sense to me.
While working towards deleting all of my social media accounts, I stumbled across this quote earlier today. This quote was part of my signature line on a different forum from years ago on a platform that is now long been dead.
It was helpful then. It is helpful now.
>"Eventually, the time that was not spent on learning skills will catch up with you, and the fall will be painful." - Robert Greene
I have transposed these quotes to my Commonplace book. They will serve as guideposts.
Peace and blessings to you and all those around you.
Like some people here legitimately just don’t like the comedy styles of Bert and Christina which is understandable everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. I personally like both podcasts and I don’t even think anything is wrong with them until I come on here and people are so angry. But everyone has different tastes.
But I feel there is a large group on this sub that just have a weird loyalty to Tom and impulsively shit on his co-hosts because they are defensive of their fandom.
Like if you just don’t like the two that’s fine, but if you doing it because you think it makes you a bigger fan of Tom that’s R-worded. Mainly because Timmy has said multiple times that if you shit on Bert or Christina it makes him instantly dislike you.
And when I say “hate” I don’t mean that they just say “oh man I’m just not into them”. They just constantly dunk on them saying shit like “Tom should divorce her” or “Fuck Bert he’s not funny nor talented”. Like it’s just a weird cognitive dissonan... keep reading on reddit ➡

I've seen a lot of comments bashing Christina.. but I don't really understand why. It seems a lot of the posts are related to Olivia being a better match for Henry because she's been matched with "Mr. Problematic'. But honestly at this point in the season a brick wall would seem like a better match for Olivia than Brett. I don't know why the posts have to drag Christina.
From what we know of her from the Bachelorette party it seems anxiety is something she's familiar with and when she was getting overwhelmed it's hard because you don't "want to be a buzzkill" but knowing that pushing yourself harder to seem "okay" or drinking will only make it worse. I think Christina will be more understanding and empathetic of Henry's struggles with anxiety because it's something she experiences as well.
I wish them the best and pray the cameras and production aspect of the show doesn't overwhelm either of them.
I think this is a perfect example of two decent and mostly kind humans that were matched horribly in order for us viewers to see a shit show.
Henry: Ugh, guys. My heart literally breaks to pieces any time he comes up on my screen. I know people give him shit for being 'boring' and not knowing how to communicate, but I really think this comes from a place of anxiety and insecurity he has dealt with his whole life. Everyone has nerves going into this, but it seems like this is a lot harder of an adjustment for him. I know we ask, "well, why did he sign up for this then?" Well, maybe it was because deep in his heart he knows he's struggled in dating because of his awkwardness, but desperately wants to find love and this was a leap of faith on his part. He reminds me a lot of a man my mom used to date. A little standoffish and awkward, even down to the nervous twitch. But he was one of the best and most kind person I have ever met. I see a lot of him in Henry. Maybe that's why I ha... keep reading on reddit ➡
