I'm posting this here because I don't believe a post like this would survive moderating in r/watchexchange, and while I'm not certain on this last point I am fairly sure the two subreddits have a significant userbase overlap.
Here is the comment that started this discussion over on r/watchexchange:
I mentioned my experience with the history of the sub and how I see it moving forward; essentially favoring flippers and resellers and absolute growth over considered membership. I personally like where the sub was about two years ago, or even a year ago before being featured on watchrecon.
If you have any opinions on this please comment! I think many are experiencing a significant loss in value as the landscape of r/watchexchange transitions to another reseller market.
I think it would be a very useful option to have the car chime when the light turns green when stopped at an intersection, with no lead car.
It seems like at least once a month I'm stopped looking to the left to see when it's safe to right on red, and only notice the light has turned green a good few seconds after.
I was first curious about this during Asuleu's first season. Since then the talk of him being a crappy dad and father because of his culture has continued and I'm still confused. I'm curious if any Samoans could clarify which of the two Samoan dads we see on the show is the more stereotypical Samoan dad.
In the area where i grew up, the only thing more important than Jesus is football. In the 80s some of the smaller colleges were having trouble recruiting so they started recruiting players from places like Hawaii, Guam, Somoa, etc. The cost of living here is cheap and it's a great environment to raise kids, so lots of those players stayed here after graduating. By the time I was little there was a large community of Pacific Islanders in my state, and especially my school district.
The dads I knew from those cultures growing up were like Low, not Asuelu. They were all very involved with their kids. (Sometimes almost too involved- a few times they had to ask them to stop volunteering... keep reading on reddit ➡
Here's the thing, I really don't have a problem with self diagnosis in general. I understand then getting a diagnosis is a privilege that a lot of people don't have and most self diagnosis are done after extensive research.
That being said it makes me uncomfortable when someone who is self diagnosed makes a platform based on autism. I feel like it can be dangerous since we don't actually know if their traits are caused by autism or something else. Sure they can lead people to research, resources and relay facts, but how do we know their brain is actually autistic?
I won't name the person but there's someone on another platform making various videos about their autism without having a diagnosis, they've built up quite the platform and I dunno, I guess it just makes me uncomfortable.
I know I could be in the wrong here and I guess I'm just looking for other people's thoughts and opinions to help me view it differently or reaffirm what I think.
Edit: I feel like people are interpreti... keep reading on reddit ➡

It's time to celebrate. We've just hit 200,000 subscribers! (credit to /u/rhubarb_man for highlighting it to us!)
This is no mean feat for a Playstation exclusive game - and it's great to see the community is still growing despite 5 years which have flown by since the first of us visited Yharnam, but the sub has rarely been quiet with both new and experienced users to the souls genre generating discussion on lore, mechanics, pvp, pve and making fan art. The hunt is on, and the night truly has been long!
We'd also like to take a moment to thank you all for being such a chill and welcoming community to your fellow hunters. As far as large and active communities go, there's very little needed to be done here as a moderator thanks to the general vibe of respectful, mature and helpful you've all set as the standard for this place. Thank you for making us proud to be a part of this community!
And remember... Fear the old blood
Before I start we need to establish some facts. East Asian women according to tinder are the most desired women by all races of men and desi women are just over black women in terms of SMV ( heck I believe black women have a higher SMV than desi women as there's actually something called " jungle fever" look it up). We as desi men will never have it as hard our east Asian bros cuz our women are not as desired and are low on the totem pole of SMV. Secondly, east Asian guys actually put in the work compared to desi guys. Why? Many ABCD desi guys subconsciously knows that if shit were to really hit the fan, they can tap mommy and daddy for an arranged marriage/dating situation which is a luxury most east Asian guys don't have.
The desi guys that I've met that focus on self improvement through fitness, fashion, money, game easily get with women of other races. Most desi guys in America are between 5'7-5'10 so the height issue is easily fixed by wearing elevator shoes/insoles in ur shoes... keep reading on reddit ➡
Imagine moving into the quietest suburb in the area and thinking "How can I make the least annoying amount of noise?"
EDIT: I'd like to reiterate what I already said but put it on top of this post. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk. Not in the least. I just think things need to be put into perspective for a lot of new traders.
On top of that, why don't you also tell us how many months you've been trading penny stocks on Robinhood. Doug has been in the game for 10 times as many YEARS as most of you kids have been trading penny stocks in MONTHS.
I promise that I'm not trying to sound like an ass. But seriously, do you honestly think that a company makes these types of decisions for no reason? Do you think because you're portfolio value has temporarily decreased a few hundred dollars, or $1,000, or whatever, that it's because Doug Freaking Satzman is making some type of huge mistake?
I'm a veteran Reclaimer, so by personal experience I can definitely say that the Support Station is superior to the Hives, by far. The problem presented with Hives that you don't have with most other skills is that you're locked into an extensive Cooldown time based on the number of charges needed to refill.
Would it be more effective to have the Hive function similar to the Support Station? Instead of charges, it would simply stay active based on duration while healing/reviving throughout. The device itself could still function as it does, but it would only spit out charges based on a speed and rate determined by Skill Tier. Meaning it could have a long duration, but may only spit out charges every 5 seconds (ex.) based on Skill Tier. Thoughts?

Now everyone is changing their tune and offering up their own driveways because god forbid somebody have to exercise a bit of caution when executing such a highly skilled manoeuvre as swinging the car in and out of their drive.
In the two years I've lived here this is the third time that someone's got pissed off at cars parking
inconsiderately perfectly legally while coming to visit someone who's lost a relative.
You don't need to have both.I can't kill Yorshka and I can't find my rapier in my inventory or in high wall. I have many weapons and armor sets so I can trade them to you. Plz help
EDIT: I no longer need Yorshka's Chime, all I need now is the rapier.
EDIT-2: I specifically need the one called the "Rapier," and it can be found in High Wall of Lothric in the area with the winged knight.
FINAL-EDIT: I have everything I need, this post is now **CLOSED**
You waited for a fly-by-night bank app. that exists on the Cloud to trust your money to?

I’m a hobbyist newbie photographer for sure. I take my camera every where I go when I’m not busy working. I live in the PNW so there is plenty to see and I love the outdoors! I bought a used a6000 for 300$ a few months ago to see if I’d enjoy photography as a new hobby. I particularly enjoy landscape, wildlife and astrophotography. I’ve been shooting with a Sigma 16 mm f1.4 and a Sony 55-210 mm f4.5-6.3 (which ain’t so sharp but I got for like 100$ used). Photography has changed my life immensely for the better, I know I’ve found a life long hobby and I’m wondering whether it makes sense in that case to go full frame sooner rather than to keep accumulating glass for my a6000. I’ll likely stay Sony, the a7r2 has caught my eye...I’d probably buy used again!? I’d love if people could share thoughts on my photos and point out areas for improvement or things I’m doing well for a newbie :)
Alright guys. I went all in on the SmartThings ecosystem. I have ALL THE THINGS now (cameras, multipurpose sensors, locks, etc.). However I have a 19 month old turdler who's getting curious when it comes to doors. And we have a pool *gulp*. SOOOO enter in the desire to use the multipurpose sensors for door sensors and to be alerted at ALL times when doors are opened.
I'm trying (albeit FAILING miserably) to do something as simple as select a noticeable but not annoying chime to go off on every Alexa speaker we have throughout the house.
Can someone please help guide me?
What I have tried so far:
- Alexa Routines: tried two different ways---- 1. "Message" which will allow me to do an announcement (which alerts on all speakers) but you have to type a message which I don't want. I simply want a basic chime. 2. "Sounds" which has shit options when it comes to the audio choices (I don't want a doorbell noise).
- SmartThings Automation: But this gives me no option to
I just want to add to the chorus of people saying the UI makes the mod difficult to play. It hurts my eyes. I'm excited about this mod, think it's really cool but...basically I will need a modmod in order to play it for any length of time.
I understand if the devs don't want to get rid of the cool aesthetic they worked on but...it might be better. Maybe mostly normal game graphics with a little neon here and there? Not sure.
I think I’m going insane. Whenever we go to the bridge I hear this random chime literally out of nowhere that sounds like the whistling from the beginning of that weird “big enough” song
Edit: you can hear it on season 2, episode 8 at about 40:30 and 52:14 on Netflix
