All my life I have always used chicken breasts when cooking anything with chicken (baked, pan fried, shredded, whatever). My local grocery store was out of breasts, so I went with thighs just for kicks and giggles. I cannot believe how long I’ve missed out on better tasting chicken. I don’t know if this is a well known thing or if it’s just me, but I thought I would share.
People who think you can't be racist to certain races are dumb as hell
Title says it all. I think fried chicken has little to no taste and I can barely eat any of it without having the need to gag. I'd rather stick to other options.
EDIT (11 24 2020): Thank you all for the suggestions and awards. I shall now go on a quest to find some good chicken.
My husband who tbf does a lot of the household chores and taking care of the kids, bought us some McDonald's (my kids' favorite) for lunch. He got my daughter (11F) a ten piece package of nuggets and fries and a drink.i got my request, a chicken sandwich and small fries. My daughter sat down at the kitchen table next to where I sit to work and ate her nuggets. When she was done she wandered away from the table, leaving the nuggets open. Over the course of the afternoon I ate some of the nuggets. There's still one left. My daughter just came back to the table and asked who ate her nuggets. I confirmed it was me. She got mad and my husband got even madder. He said he grew up in a household where people stole for from each other and it was awful and could give our kids eating disorders and trust issues. Is that so? Have I been the asshole here?
Tldr I might be the asshole because I ate my kid's chicken nuggets which were left on the table.
Edit: Okay I accept my judgement that I'm the AH. I summarized the judgment for my husband and we talked about it some. Here's what I and my family are going to do differently: I'm going to ask before eating people's food, even if it seems abandoned or like community property. My kid is going to be reminded to clean up her nuggets when she leaves the table. my husband is going to try not to go to worst-case scenario mode over this issue.
