I thought it would make a nice contrast to red and white and I could use it up. I am worried it will be slippery and cause a lateral fault line. I was thinking maybe criss crossing thin ribbons so other ingredients can bond through a chard mesh.

We are constantly being reminded to eat more vegetables, especially the deeply colored green ones such as the above which are particularly nutritious. I've been trying to get into cooking more Indian food recently, but I can't help but notice that the majority of vegetable recipes which populate Indian cookbooks tend to revolve around less nutrient dense vegetables such as cauliflower, various squashes/gourds etc, bitter gourd, daikon, carrots etc, and those which do utilize "deep green" saag vegetables such as spinach, basella and mustard gourds seem to cook them in a fairly uniform manner. I'm wondering what an Indian chef might do with some of the perhaps non-native vegetables listed in the post title?
