On Reddit and YouTube, you often see a large number of people praising full stream translations and massively downvoting any comment trying to argue the ethics of reuploading the entire stream, translated or not. One repeat offender of uploading full-stream translations is CMT, who is known for accepting commissions for them at a rate of ~$6 a minute and uploading them to their own channel with multiple mid-roll ads.
Their first full-stream translation that got taken down was from Tamaki, back when Tamaki explicitly told his fans not to clip his streams because of Content ID issues. He’s an independent VTuber, meaning it’s quite expensive for him to deal with Content ID issues on YouTube—a risk that he can only avoid by trusting his fans to not clip or reupload his content elsewhere. Even then, CMT took on a full-stream translation commission of a collab stream between Tamaki and Mamatsuri. This not only violated Tamaki’s wishes, but also [Hololive’s guidelines](https://cdn.discordap... keep reading on reddit ➡
Thanks to all those who read and chimed in on the previous posts in this series, and extra-special thanks to the users who gave those posts awards! I'm so glad this sub exists as a place where we can all indulge in discussing the minutiae of Taylor's word choice together.
Naturally this list has and will continue to get less critical/more gushy the further we go. Am I still going to piss a bunch of people off with "low" placements?

F1 cars have always had numbers on them to identify them. Since the 2017 Spanish Grand Prix, the FIA has more strictly enforced the rules concerning the display of driver names and numbers. Despite this, I still sometimes struggle to identify some of the cars. I'm going to analyse why that is.
(yes, I know I could use the T-cam, but it's tiny and, in 7 years of watching F1, my eyes have never been drawn to it)
Before I begin, I'd like to make a couple of key points that underpin this analysis:
Hey /r/wow community!
During the first few weeks of Shadowlands, the subreddit entered a period of low-moderation - meaning that the moderation team was less stringent on the regular rules of the sub, including allowing more memes than usual.
After the low-moderation period ended, we saw many posts on both /r/wow and /r/wowmeta from community members asking for rules to be permanently relaxed on memes. One of the most popular threads on the topic was here: https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/k70zb3/mods_say_they_want_to_promote_thoughtful/
In the past, the mod team has noted that memes can hinder pure-text discussion threads, as image posts are more frequently upvoted and seen on a platform like Reddit. However, throughout the early days of Shadowlands we found much of the discussions about gameplay to be taking place within the comments of relevant meme posts.

okay, I'm 22 and have struggled with mental illnesses since I was 13. and because it's been so long and for so much of my youth, I honestly do not know if I'm just dumb or if mental illness has made it difficult for me to process, absorb, and learn. it's definitely affected my motivation to learn, that's a given.
as an adult I have found myself unable to keep up with conversations and too embarrassed to ask what things mean, because it's basic stuff I know I should know. when I try to learn new things, it's so hard for me to digest it that I usually get frustrated and give up.
to give an example, with the current political climate, I decided today that I was going to educate myself on politics so I could understand everything. in the past few years I've read here and there on Modernstates, Khan Academy, Crash Course, etc. so today I went to Modernstates, and it's been so long since I've read about American politics on there, it was so overwhelming I decided to start smaller from th... keep reading on reddit ➡
Name: Katherine Rebecca Kane
Height: 5' 11"

"Kate Kane survived a brutal kidnapping by terrorists that left her mother dead and her twin sister lost. Following in her father's footsteps, she vowed to serve her country and attended West Point until she was expelled under 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.'" -- intro to the New 52 series
After her expulsion, Kate was inspired to fight crime by an encounter with Batman. She wears the Bat to honor his inspiration but operates independently of him.
Kate is also first cousins with both Bette Kane (AKA Flamebird/Hawkfire) and Bruce Wayne.
Note: Batwoman did not receive a full reboot with the New 52, leaving Detective Comics #854-863 and parts of 52 still canon despite taking place in the pre-Flashpoint era.

Ooh baby, I already know this is going to be a spicy one, but here I go: In my life the most fake and disappointing allies to gay men have been white straight girls.
That doesn’t mean all white straight girls. I’m white, I have privilege. My mom and sister are true allies that will go to the ends of the earth to protect me. But in my experience I’ve never seen more superficiality, stereotyping, and excuses than from privileged girls.
Take this example recently. There’s this marketer girl in my city who thinks she’s an ally and a comedian. She recently posted all about her recent trip to Florida, flaunting about not wearing masks, saying she was glad Florida didn’t have restrictions, and posted a photo of her eating Chick fil a with her boyfriend with a caption that said “gays for chick fil a”.
Normally this asinine behaviour wouldn’t bother me and I would just unfollow, however, she frequently posts about how she works with gay men and she’s a true ally for us. I commented aski... keep reading on reddit ➡
I don't know if anyone will read this post, but today is my 100th day on Reddit so I wanted to mark this occasion on this subreddit, where I am the most active (and the reason why I joined). 100 days are significant in Korean culture, and I'm using it mainly as an excuse to share some reflections haha.
Random things about me, for more context:
A common consensus on this sub is that Sunny's parents came to learn of his role in Mari's death, perhaps through a forensic autopsy, and that this caused Sunny's dad to abandon the family and his mom to cover for him.
In this post, I will argue the opposite: that this "Parents Knew" theory is a) not directly supported by in-game evidence, b) decisively disproven by datamined evidence, c) not aligned with real-life facts and scrutiny, and d) would be bad dramatic writing.
First off, while this post is spoiler-flaired twice, I just to make it clear: this post will be going full-spoilers for both normal and Hikikomori routes. If for some reason you haven't finished the game before reading this, y'know, it's pretty good, you should.
Also, while I'm going to approach this methodically, it isn't as serious as it sounds - it's ultimately just a game, and we're all just having fun spitballing theories here.
Finally, I can tell this'll be long, so I'll put bolded TL;DRs... keep reading on reddit ➡
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, more commonly known as PETA, is an organization that has risen to infamy. Whether it’s disrespecting Steve Irwin on his birthday or making a commercial of animals kneeling for the national anthem, the group is known for its shocking content and advertisement, leading to them becoming widely hated. Very few animal rights activists actually support PETA, though they do obviously have their supporters.
The organization has crusaded against video games in the past. By JYP here I mean Mr. Park Jinyoung, CCO and Founder of JYP Entertainment. Truth be told the massive amount of hate being directed to this man these past weeks completely blows my mind. This is not me saying to support him and all his decisions. I just personally think there's more to these stories than one man vs. your faves. I believe this is an unpopular opinion because I rarely see anything positive about him, like praising him for how he built the company over time and gave our idols the opportunity to debut, or at the very least comments not hating him. People seem to view him as a joke of an entertainer and head of company. Perhaps because his appearance isn't intimidating and kind of weird, he's treated as an easy target for fans to blame if something happens to their idols. If good comments about him do exist, I sure as hell haven't seen any since hateful spews have been overriding them all.

God - my entire university's chem dept uses this book. It's terrible. She is so condescending. She is like "this diagram clearly depicts this thing". She doesn't add captions. Some of her little sections are like a sentence long. She uses the word being defined in the definition. Example: delocalized diene: the electron density of both π bonds is delocalized over the four atoms of the diene. Okay yeah that does not help me with the meaning. That just spreads out my misunderstanding over more words. And final remark - she just does not write well. With good textbooks, I only need to read it once, maybe twice if I'm struggling with it. Of course this is orgo. But she is not a good writer. It is not a good textbook and I really don't know where to start looking for a substitute/supplemental textbook.

You may or may not have asked this question while you've been trying to improve your Operators, and I'm here to tell you the surprising answer to that question: it's the latter.
Every elite material in the Workshop is given a certain byproduct weight value, which affects how likely you're able to get each of those as a byproduct. A higher weight value means that the specified material is more likely to be a byproduct, and similarly for lower weight values. Additionally, this specific byproduct probability is calculated independently of the chance of actually obtaining a byproduct.
Note: Only elite materials have particular biases. For chip byproducts, a 1/7 chance is equally shared by all class... keep reading on reddit ➡

In the book Polyglot: How I Learn Languages, by Kató Lomb, she describes that many of the languages she learned was through reading books of that language, without using other resources or methods. In some sense this was how I learned English. It was a very slow process. Which I am definitely not 100% there yet, even after several years since I read my first book entirely in English or watched a US movie without captions. OKAY here's what I got for you. I'm definitely not an expert, but I have been focused on growing my account the last couple weeks, with quite a bit of success.
May 2020, I started my Youtube channel to create some silly book-related videos and share what I’m reading. For a little background, I am working for a mom and pop marketing company. They are far behind the times and they don't quite get social media.
They want me to make image posts with no caption, and repeatedly ask me to remove captions because the graphic stands "as is." I think this is impacting our overall reach and page quality and it's disappointing to have to defend a practice I thought was a no-brainer.

I loved this series so much after my initial recent first read-through that I splurged on a fortuitous and reasonably-priced complete lot of Warrior and Miracleman (Eclipse and Marvel runs) that popped up on eBay (and supplemented it with a few more purchases, like the A1 with the first printing of “Ghostdance,” and a few of the more interesting Marvel variant covers). I was amused to see most of the major critiques/questions from my prior posts here (character ages, the logic of Gargunza’s motives, etc.) raised by readers in the letter columns pretty exactly in the same words I used.

Hello, tis the owner here again
So we have run into low effort posting issues again (and I have gotten some very... interesting modmail messages from people who dont think the rules apply to them). Its been a while since I have talked about this issue so... here it be.
Low effort posting is the act of posting something to the subreddit that looks like you put 0 effort into the title and or post subject. This can include but IS NOT LIMITED TO:
starting your account
the first place to start is to figure out what you want to collect. you can find templates for artists you collect by searching up “__ template” on twitter. then, post the template with a key, for example, i use dinosaur emojis to mark which cards are my “priority” and chick emojis to mark which cards are “on the way”. once a card arrives, i white it out and repost the wishlist template. most people keep a “wishlists” highlight, and it’s best to keep it fairly updated. you can also find templates on instagram, just hold down on the screen until the user information disappears and screen shot.
(some of my favorite template makers are on instagram, @/bbwooz and @/sanatozaki_templates. they have wishlists for tons of groups)

Preface. So: I had originally planned on making this first post about jurisdiction and a general overview about the way courts work, but I’ve changed my mind and anonymity makes me impervious to all demands for accountability. That said, I’ve changed my mind for two reasons: (1) the Supreme Court issued a really interesting decision yesterday and I want to talk about as it’s rather timely (being about permissible Covid restrictions); and (2) I’m really sympathetic to the views expressed in this thread, in which various readers flagged my post last week as one of the potentially not-quite-relevant-enough entries, which is largely my own fault—for what it’s worth, my working plan, which I didn’t articulate enough, is more to use interesting legal issues to flag interesting SSC-ish issues, i.e., the focus is going to be a lot less on “here is how the law works…” and more on “look at... keep reading on reddit ➡
Here is the video in question
I understand he is making very large claims that could easily be bollocks but he is going further than the regular troll, to the point of dedicating months of his life to keeping it up with getting minimal attention.
I will copy and paste here the comments I found interesting to save you a link click (if you do the video in question is one where he claims to be recreating what he saw in a space craft in a black hole...)
Commenter - Ivan0135 was the original uploader of the skinny bob videos
Randal - Actually I think I used my account the first time I loaded them because they were removed and I went to court over posting them. They were up for a day or two and they shut down the entire NW youtube until they were removed. Then we went to court and I explained everything that happened and why. The trial was sealed due to National Security, they wouldn't admit... keep reading on reddit ➡
2020 is over and thus people will look back at the year and discuss which anime was AOTY. We also see it on r/anime where the nominations for the 2020 r/anime awards are now open (well by now they're almost closed. Wanted to post this a bit sooner but my body said no and decided to get sick. So the post might be a bit rushed here and there because I did want to post it before the nominations actually closed).
Maybe your favorite anime was the sequel of a show you already loved like Kaguya or Re:zero. Maybe it's a new show like Dorohedoro, Great Pretender or Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken. However whatever anime it's there is a big chance it's a tv series and thus most of the discussion will be about series and perhaps a few movies. With the r/anime awards there is however also a Short of the Year category. You might immediately think of anime with short episodes with that category like Aggretsuko and Heya Camp or something like Pokémon: Twilight Wings but in this category you c... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hey y’all, 20F here and I’m currently at uni living with 2 of my best friends in an off campus apartment complex. We’ve lived with each other for 2 years and now that it’s time to sign leases again, I’m considering living separately from them. Here are some examples over the past couple years and I’d really love some advice
they don’t clean. Like ever. Even after talking to them about it, if I don’t clean they won’t. They don’t sweep, they leave their dishes in the sink for days on end, they don’t pick up after themselves, they rarely take out the trash, etc. one time there were maggots in one of my roommates bowls and when I confronted her she lied and said the dishes weren’t hers???
they’re really invasive. Once I was out of town and they let a friend shower in my bathroom instead of theirs??? Also they requested I leave my room unlocked so they could use MY bowl and grinder. They refuse to get their own stuff. I was out of town once and I saw a picture of my bowl on one of th
Update: a fella in DM handed me over a FULL pastebin for them to extract these messages from. Many of them coincide with what I've also obtained. Here it is. https://pastebin.com/6Fph95PJ
Important, before you read below: since their mission is clearly to divide from within and create conflict, please try not to interpret this post as retaliation fuel to the fire. This isn't to scare anyone off, but to make people feel more comfortable watching the streams and dealing with this. Ignore them, report them and continue enjoying the fun streams until this whole thing dies off, without further attention given to them. I personally don't think this will go on for much longer, and I won't give them any more attention further than this post, nor I think anyone else should especially in the live chats. So here it goes:
I had some free time while watching Haachama x Coco stream today and I've monitored the chat, checking what the **same bunc... keep reading on reddit ➡
I was able to connect the photos to HTML but now have another issue, I can't seem to resize photos. I mean I use css to resize but can't seem to make them the same size. For example, I'll put them both in the same row and try to make them the same size but can't seem to do this. Also, I put in a carousel and one photo will be normal size then the next one will be gigantic.
My carousel code: <!-- Carousel with 4 images -->
<div id="carousel" class="carousel slide" data-interval="false">
<li data-target="#carousel" data-slide-to="0" class="active"></li>
<li data-target="#carousel" data-slide-to="1"></li>
<li data-target="#carousel" data-slide-to="2"></li>
<li data-target="#carousel" data-slide-to="3"></li>
<div class="carousel-item active">

Disclaimer: This is by no means a "quick-fix method", but once you've gone through the initial setup phase, only a few minutes a day are enough to grow your account into the thousands - even tens of thousands - of followers (= potential customers) who routinely keep in touch with your business and convert into clients or customers.
So without further ado... Let's start!
Instagram presents a fantastic way of generating very warm to hot traffic for your business without having to spend large amounts of money on advertising repeatedly.
