>Apple hit a market cap of $2 trillion, doubling in valuation in just over two years. It’s the first publicly traded U.S. company to reach the $2 trillion milestone.
>Apple first reached a $1 trillion market cap on Aug. 2, 2018. Wall Street has largely expected Apple to be the first to surpass the $2 trillion mark. On July 31, Apple surpassed the state oil giant Saudi Aramco to become the world’s most valuable publicly traded company.
Low-level players have no business taking up spots that could be filled by high-level players. There needs to be a level minimum to participate; make it 50. I don't understand why lowbies are even allowed into an event where they cannot participate in any meaningful way.
edit: just bought the hat off amazon. this is happening. yolo.
Like the title says, the company I just joined doesn't have a max to their 401k match. They'll match 25 cents on the dollar up to the IRS cap of 19.5k... Does this mean I want to contribute every penny of that 19.5k to max out my return? For argument's sake, let's say this is 20% of my salary. I'm 24 and want to make sure my retirement is rock solid for when I'm older
I'm still paying off debt so I'm looking a year or two into the future before I start contributing, just curious
I’m interested if people actually think the change is good. I want to your reasoning about it because right now I can’t see any positives. It removes diversity of the number of mobs in packs, makes it less immersive and completely changes the identity of some classes.
I don't know what the point is. It's not like the vending machines are extra stash space, so what gives?
Nobody is actually buying them right?
WMT Market cap: 369.768B
TSLA Market cap: 373.065B
TSLA market cap 420.69B when? Tesla needs to reach a stock price of 2257.4 $ to reach the funny number market cap. I think this is achievable by next friday. Papa Musk will deliver.

Edit 1: It's 388.907B now, daddy musk has made 3B today.
I don't know about you guys, but I personally loved going through a silo, launching a nuke, activating ACP, getting put with 3 low levels, going through 30 Plasma Cores, only getting Earle to mutate, failing the event, and then getting bombarded with nuclear radiation. Isn't that fun guys? But seriously if you're restricting how many people can do the event please add a level cap to the event. Or least put high levels with high levels.
EDIT: While this post was worded as a little angry, I have no hostility towards lower level players, I actually love these crazy low levels hitting the SBQ with pickaxes and pipe pistols. But since ACP is limited to 8 people, and this is a high level event, I don't feel it's unfair to ask you lower levels to sit this event out for a minute, just until you don't die every minute. I don't know how One Wasteland will effect this event, but from it's description it sounds like it may solve this problem. Then again everything might be getting nerfed, and E... keep reading on reddit ➡
Bethesda please. I’m begging you here. Increase the limit, or create some way for caps to be distributed back to me after I drop below the limit.
With the latest Beta build they put a 4 targets Scourge Strike cap on Death and Decay which pretty much kills UH's AOE. This change makes the specc even more unfun and annoying to play. First you have to deal with 4-5 BUFF CDs that are all on GCD and now you really need to pay attention where you place DaD because there is a limit of how many targets it can hit and also predict the tank movement because if he/she kite the mobs outside of DaD your AOE is gone.
On top of all that you cant really quickly switch targets too because you need to apply wounds first and then start your regular rotation.
Apart from the rotation annoyances there are a bunch of extremely bad and never used talents that sit there since Legion. Its so sad to see Blizz ignoring the feedback we are providing... slowly destroying the specc and making it even more unfun to play.
First put everything on GCD and now cap everyone's AOE. Whats next? Remove AOE? Remove multidotting? Re... keep reading on reddit ➡
As per BFHPTPIRATE's Herculean efforts, the catch cap was in fact not removed during Go Fest, but instead doubled. You will not hit catch cap unless you have caught over 14,000 Pokemon in the last 168 hours, and over 4,800 Pokemon in the last 24 hours. Note that this is a rolling window, not based on calendar days/weeks.
Since the spin cap is still at 1,200 spins, this means that for all intents and purposes the catch cap is no longer relevant, as it's not possible to get enough gear to hit it consistently.
There’s a place in West Virginia calling Wheeling Island Casino (it looks crazy, would be a perfect Fallout location) It’d be great to have something like that in Fallout 76 open up.
We could have various games of chance (there’s already slot machines in this game) where we could spend our caps for chances at winning unique prizes or bullion. It’d also be a cool place for everyone to gather and hang out, especially if that could figure out a poker table style mechanic. Robot waiters could come by and offer us alcohol and chems. It’d be magical.
Just a thought for a fun cap sink.
Possibly, do ya want it Eighteen Carrot?” I ask
“Nah, lad” he replies “chewin a bone’ll be fine”
Not a long rant but its something that has been very noticable on the beta.
Look, target caps are fine sometimes. Avenger's shield can't be hitting 30 targets because I want that shield back eventually. An ability that hits 2 targets instead of 1 that shares a cooldown with a single target ability? Great! That rewards you changing your rotation based on the number of enemies present.
But man the 5 target cap sucks. I've been playing beta on ret and windwalker and fuck man it just sucks to be in a situation with more than 5 enemies and think 'ah well, time to press consecrate and wait 12 seconds for it to do 200 damage to each of them!' It feels like it limits my capacity as a player, and feels like being penalised for being in any sort of aoe situation. And this isn't just end of expansion MDI meme pulls, this is like in the starting area, in keys, presumably on raid trash etc. It means fights with burst aoe like Thogar will suck, doing old content will be more time consuming... not... keep reading on reddit ➡
So this happened when I was 15, we as a family had just moved to a foreign country and didn't know the local language so well.
A month into living there, I tore my ACL and had to go for surgery, I ended up going to the local pediatric/university hospital.
When I got there I was given the hospital garb and told to change, standard gown and underwear, except I didn't know that the underwear was actually underwear, so I proceeded to wear it like a shower cap.
10 minutes later my doctor walks into the room with 10 students and flings my robe up (exposing my very naked self) and starts explaining to the students what he's gonna do, while I desperately try to retrieve some sort of dignity.
13 years later this memory still haunts me. The family still get a good chuckle from it :)
TL;DR Wore hospital undwear as shower cap, exposing myself accidentally to a group of med students.
Edit: Thank you kind strangers for my first awards!
I was doing some dailies and noticed someone who was wanted at my camp. Figured I'd go see what was happening and sure enough they took all the precious junk my collectron gathered. No big deal, but the moment they saw me they opened fire. Having no desire to fight I jumped onto the roof of my camp and went into 3rd person view to watch what they were doing and only then realized I was naked except for a sack hood lol. I'd forgotten I took all my armor off to gain rads faster earlier.
After losing me he just looked around my camp at the decor for a while then bought a ton of stuff from my vendors. I'm not exactly sure what all went down there but it was a memorable experience for sure. I hope that guy enjoyed having a naked man suddenly appear on top of him.
Market Cap Milestones 🏆
NVDA 310B INTC 208B AMD 98B
Just thought it's interesting, feels like it was just weeks ago that NVDA passed INTC and now they added a casual AMD on top. Crazy how quickly valuations changed in such a short time. NVDA reported a convincing quarter and INTC announced big numbers too but also further 7nm problems. Intel will try to compete in discrete gaming GPUs next year alongside Nvidia and AMD. Nvidia meanwhile has gone full steam ahead towards growing it's datacenter business.
If a Gnawing Hunger I got in June last year has the same rolls and stats as one I get this season, there's no justifiable reason why I should have to farm for a new one. The community is already wary of sunsetting and this just confirms people's worst fears. Bungie needs to come out and clearly communicate why they feel this is necessary and if this is what to expect going forward.
EDIT: Thanks for the gold! What I'm really looking for is Bungie's rationale on this issue. If they need to sunset certain guns to give them freedom to create cool stuff, fine. But that doesn't explain why you could have two weapons with the exact same perks, but one is only good until September and the other is good for another year.
Tesla has overtaken Walmart, Procter and Gamble, Mastercard, and Home Depot by market cap.
The recent rally started after Tesla announced it would be doing a five to one stock split on August 31st. Since the announcement, Tesla has added an additional $126 billion to its market capitalization bringing the total to $382 billion as of Friday’s close.
The surge pushed Tesla’s market capitalization past many household names including retail giant Walmart and consumer goods corporation Procter and Gamble.
Walmart recently announced an earnings beat on both revenue and earnings per share led by 97% annual eCommerce growth. Walmart’s total revenue in the second quarter was $137 billion, while Tesla’s second-quarter revenue was only $6 billion. Walmart’s net income was $6.48 billion while Tesla’s second-quarter net income was just over $100 million.
Procter and Gamble reported $17.7 billion in revenue with $2.8 billion in net income in its last quarter... keep reading on reddit ➡
Exactly what it says on the tin: who are the three weakest Jedi that could beat the MCU versions of Cap, Thor and Iron Man?
