I've found some that make them out of polyester, but I'd prefer ones made from natural fibers like cotton.
Just wondering if anyone’s put their Wilfred ruffle camisole (#68083) through the washing machine on gentle/cold? The instructions say hand wash in cold only, but quite a few Aritzia items I have say hand wash and I’ve put in the machine without fail — so just wanted to see if anyone had that experience with this piece. Thanks!!
I'm incontinent, and wear adult diapers to deal with it. I don't want people to know I'm wearing a diaper, and whenever I leave the house I wear an adult-sized onesie to help conceal it. Most of what I care about is hiding the waistband of the diaper if my shirt rides up or my jeans slip down a little. Which is fine if I'm wearing a t-shirt over the onesie, or something else with sleeves and a higher cut to the shirt.
But with the heat, I'd like to wear tops that have a little less coverage, just to be cooler. Shorter sleeves, a deeper cut to the neckline (nowhere near plunging, but there's a lot of leeway between t-shirt and plunging necklines). I've been experimenting with shapewear, but often that compresses the diaper oddly (because most shapewear that goes from your butt to under your boobs include some sort of butt-lifting). I figured a long undershirt would do the trick, as long as it's long enough to stay tucked in.
So I started looking for extra long camisoles. What I... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hi! So I’m trying to list a vintage lingerie camisole and cover two piece and the size is 1X, which I’ve never heard of. The bust is approx 17 in flat. Anyone that is aware of how to calculate cup sizes based on just measurements? I’m a 32B and it’s much bigger I’m just trying to calculate it based on flat measurements. Thanks for the help!
Nadeko Sengoku. I like how this fictional character from the anime series Monogatari series dresses. In particular this one pink top ( camisole?) that has tiered skirt at bottom ( ?) ( I would link an image, or the link but I am new to Reddit and do not comprehend how to do that 😅).
Could you, please, tell me where could I buy pieces of the outfit she is wearing ( I do not want to go with the one they sell as the cosplay outfit) and if that's impossible could I please be suggested the closest possible outfit, please?
Have a nice day!
I have a larger bust and regular undershirts and camisoles are still more revealing than I need them to be in my line of work. Does anyone know where I can find camisoles with higher necklines but not so high it reaches the collarbone? Years ago someone gave me a cami tunic thing from the brand shade that I love, but I can’t find them anywhere.
I am knitting the Camisole No. 2 by My Favourite Things Knitwear. It’s basically a tank top where you knit bottom up, left panel, then right panel. I just completed the left panel and about to start working the right panel of the tank top. The instructions say the following:
Start centre front at the work’s rs. Pick up 1 st from the cast off centre-st, p1 and pull the picked up st over.
Am I supposed to p1 the stitch that’s already on the needle? And it becomes binded off because the picked up stitch goes over it?
I would like to sew this jumpsuit, but I can't get the instructions. I don't live in the UK and I could mit find a was to get this magazine delivered to me. The pattern doesn't seem too complicated, but I have a question about the zipper. I think it would definetly have one, but where? I was thinking maybe at the top where the two darts are marked in the side seam? Maybe someone here can confirm or knows better then me.
Here are the printed pieces of the pattern.
these aren't made with organic cotton, i got these mixed up with another item on their site. :/
but they do have items similar that are organic, but they might be sold out. just come back and check the site and they'll probably restock.
(it's a kid's brand, but they have up to XXL and have a lot of sales).
Hi I need to replace my camisoles that are like these. I want to replace them with something more sustainable/ethical. I prefer not cotton since cotton seems to grab other fabrics and doesn't let things lay smooth over them.
Posted this in the ask a knitter thread but think it makes more sense in a post of its own, sorry if that’s not allowed.
I’m knitting the camisole no 2and I’m confused by the instructions for co the centre and starting the left cup.
This row starts on the rs, you knit in pattern to the marked centre stitch, then it says cast this st off and turn work. You are now at a ws-row.
What I don’t get is after you’ve casted off the middle stitch, you have the left cup, the gap where you cast off and then the stitch with the working yarn which is from the right cup? So how do I turn my work and continue with the left side? Sorry if this is confusing, here is a pic if that helps
Am thinking of adding vintage slips and camisoles to my inventory but am not super sure about the market for these. They are insanely gorgeous pieces (if you do find ones that come in good condition) but I also am genuinely curious if people who buy them truly wear these things or if it is more so about having fashion collectibles? I used to not be a fan of selling intimate wear/any undergarments but I have to say the vintage pieces (gold label VS, fredericks, Oscar de la renta) are super hard to pass up 😂
So I don’t have a good relationship with my stepsister, but she still comes to visit sometimes with her husband as I and my toddler live with my dad and stepmom (i don’t make enough money to live on my own after moving back from an abusive relationship.)
I wear leggings pretty much every day and camisoles are my go to shirts if I am not leaving the house. I also wear nightgowns that while are short, they don’t show my ass or any sign of an areola.
The whole time we’ve known each other, I’ve worn clothes that are form fitting because I find them more comfortable. I like the feeling of the clothes being tight but not too tight. I feel colder if I’m wearing a tshirt that is slightly baggy.
Anyway, last week my stepsister and her husband came by and spent the night and in the morning I woke up to my stepsister and stepmom talking, where my stepsister was saying I was trying to seduce her husband by wearing a camisole and leggings the day before. I didn’t even come out to the living ro... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hi all, new here was hoping you all had some good ideas. I’m in the process of loosing weight (or trying lol) and am looking for a camisole with good tummy support as well as a built in bra that actually works! Ideas welcome. Thanks!
I just crafted a Carniflex camisole and I cannot sell it on the market... its says its bound... why is that?
It's like: "Why are people so dumb?" -- lol.
I'm tired of tucks coming out and my shirt riding up
