A gallon of water. Butane is lighter fluid.
But goddamn do I love my Dynavaps. I’m currently living off very fine bud particles and kief with a disposable lighter. I was able to get the gas high on a shitty lighter so I can stick the cap in the blue flame. As I sit patiently rocking the 20 M back in forth I’m just amazed at how efficient this little thing is. It’s made for quarantine. I average about 5g a month vaping and I recognize 5g would have lasted me two, three days at the most. Other vapes need more bud and I’m not even filling my chambers half way it’s so soothing to know you can get a nice high with so little. I love Dynavap, my dynavaps and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future. Times may be tough but this nifty little thing makes things so much easier. Cheers.
So i bought a vertigo 3 flame lighter (in line) and since a few weeks it only works when using it with the valve 60-100 procent open. Anything under this will not work. any fix for this or reason why it stopped working? I payed 26 euros for the lighter and i can only have a massive flame now which i don't like at all..
Anybody from the EU have experience with using Butane + Propane mix for Ooni ovens? I'm from Cyprus and propane only or 'patio gas' isn't really a thing here, only "LPG" which is a mix of Butane and Propane, the ratio of which depends on the weather. (e.g more Butane in summer more propane in winter).
I got one that died in few days. I heard about Zico t-38 but I cant find a seller in Canada. (I’m trying to avoid amazon)
I've been using this for a while but they're out of stock right now, any recommendation for good butane for torch lighters ? (for the dynavap ofc)
Alternatively, anyone from Hyderabad know where I can find this in shops?
I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me. I bought a butane torch for creme brulee but it didnt come with fuel. I cant find just pure butane anywhere, a lot of it is a butane/propane mix. Is that safe to use? I'm extremely scared of this thing blowing up in my hand.
Hey guys, I recently bought a Zippo lighter and a butane insert and I wanted to know what brand of butane fuel I should use for the insert. Can I use the Zippo brand or can I also use generic butane fuel brands? This question can also be asked for regular lighter fluid. Thanks!
If this is in the wrong sub I apologize just direct me where to go BUT if not I was in the market for my first blazer. I’ve heard that the GT8000 only takes the blazer brand of butane but then I’ve also heard otherwise? I was just wondering if there’s any cheaper options on amazon that are compatible with the GT8000. Thanks guys
A Tardigrade can survive the vacuum of space but can it survive a butane blowtorch. The thought came to me as i sterilized a pair of tweezers.

Hello! So I recently decided I want to buy a vaporent! I'm from Canada also if that helps. I looked at previous posts and I want one that's hopefully under $150 CAD and I've been pretty interested in the DynaVap. I'm mainly going to use it for myself and maybe pass it around to friends (I heard it gets hot but letting it cool down is no problem to me) and the 2019 M model is $70 CAD in an online store that I heard is reputable. I was wondering if butane vaporizers have any affect on your health vs battery or is it the same thing? Also since DynaVap is a pretty simple design how long has it lasted for you guys? Thank you for the help! If there's anything else I should add to my post let me know!
Edit: I'm still really interested in battery suggestions since I would like to use this outside and have it be portable. So I guess slightly stealthy. I would use this max once a day if even since I don't do it much. Thanks again!
Looking to order some butane for use with dynavaps. I hear colibri or vector are recommended better qualities. Where does one order these?
So I recently bought a dual flame butane insert for my Zippo. I purchased it so I could heat my battery-less metal vape without producing soot. At first it worked fine, the flames would stay lit for as long as needed (my vape only takes about 7-8 seconds to heat). However, after a few sessions I noticed it would not last as long.
Previously, I could manage about 2-2.5 sessions per refill; now I get about 1 session if that. I originally thought I must of been filling the insert wrong, potentially letting air in. After some research on how to fill butane lighters I found my technique was no different to any other - hold both the lighter and the butane upside down and fill for 6-8 seconds.
After more careful refilling I found no change. I then began to notice that upon purging a dead load, the butane would initially shoot out pretty fast in liquid form. I would only get a bit of liquid but in any case, surely if there is enough butane to compress into liquid form then there is enough t... keep reading on reddit ➡
Today I’m gonna smoke a pipe for the first time.
I have three ways to smoke it. The jet shoots straight but is powerful. The butane insert is like a regular zippo lighter. And matches are matches. Which would be the best for a beginner?
Basically just the title. I have an electric oven so in a power outage I wouldn't be able to cook or heat up food with no alternative. I just am nervous about having canisters of butane in my apt in case hurricane winds come through my apt, and blow up the canisters. Is this a normal and rational possibility?
Extremely new to butane. Bought a two torch lighter by Techno yesterday. The guy at the smoke shop showed me how to fill a different butane lighter I had that end up not working. I went back and got this one. I understand that I need to inject and push the nozzle into the lighter. But when I do this, it fills up and butane comes out of the hole. I think a small bit of it is going in, but not enough. I watched two YouTube videos and have used a sharp tool to help air escape. But I seem to be wasting butane when injecting it. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to this? Should I just leave it up to the guy at the smoke shop to do?
I've bought a couple of torches from local shops, as well as some Bernzomatic torches. All have never lasted a year for me. Either the fuel stops or the ignition stops. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong becaus I'm handling them as instructed, and I only use it a few times daily (so maybe a few minutes of use every day totall).
What has been your experience?
Is there a better torch out there?
Hello, I went with the recommendation of the shop owner and bought a special blue butane torch (it’s red).
I bought a Butane called Ultra Pure, made by special blue.
It worked great for about 2 hours and now we don’t hear any gas come out...the instructions say to only fill for 2-4 seconds, that’s what I did.
Any ideas what’s going on??
I can't seem to get the lighter fluid out to fill it with butane instead. Any ideas? What can I do?
Hey, I just got a butane lighter. But for som reason I thought zippo lighter would work. Everything spilled everywhere when using the fluid, and I realized I needed butane. I have ordered some. But is there anything I should be worried about due to my carelessness with the fluid? Thanks!
Been stuck on this question for hours. My understanding of it is that it would have something to do with the COOH molecule present in the acid but I kinda feel like that's wrong
butane is used for a lot more than smoking
I don't think I'm being ridiculous to believe that a lot of people on this sub have been out, tried to heat and found their lighter to be out of butane. So my question is does anyone know of some small sort of container to hold a refill without lugging a big can of high quality butane with them all the time? Thanks
Hey guys can you help me. Where can i buy an aluminum alloy butane canister or can? I want to start a butane refilling business and i wanted to know where i can buy the refillable can that is safe to store butane or lpg. Thanks for any info
So I live in San Diego CA, and due to corona having me broke I got some cheap ass wax and I’m wondering if I should be regretting it.. it barely has a smell to it but when I break the wax it smells good, but when I dab it smells very strong and earthy yet pungent zesty taste that lingers in my throat longer and stronger than the last batch of cheap wax I got. I have gotten wax before that was 100% butane and un smokable, but that stuff didn’t taste like weed at all 100% chemicals. This stuff taste like strong ass weed. It’s light colored shatter and everything else about it seems normal. I got it from a dispensary that cards everyone but I’m not 21 and they let me in without a card so I know it’s kinda shady. Anyone else ever have this experience with wax? Am I trippin? The high seems normal
