Hey, I'm the creator of Cards, a simple business card scanner that recognizes details like emails, phone numbers, and more so you don't have to type anything. It has a beautiful design and supports features like scanning your own card so you can share it after scanning someone else's card.
Cards is free to download, and Cards Plus is an optional in app purchase that supports me and unlocks cool stuff like scanning card backs, dark mode, and more.
I'm currently running a 50% off Black Friday sale for Cards Plus, making it just $1 until November 27th or so.
I've been working really hard on Cards and have been trying to add lots of requested features, so I'd really appreciate if you could check it out and let me know what you think, or any questions you have!
If you'd like to learn more, feel free to check out the site or trailer.
Thanks :)
Just finished this business card and am not to sure how I feel about it. Would love some fresh input on it. Thank you. http://i.imgur.com/GAIu33K.jpg
edit. Less blog spot as suggested and a different logo. http://i.imgur.com/HQnGMmI.jpg
Just finished mocking up business cards for a convention this upcoming weekend. I was going for something simple and straightforward, so hopefully it achieves that, but let me know what you think! Tear it apart as much as necessary.
For posterity's sake, the color scheme is imitating my portfolio website, which is here.
Would like some new eyes on the business card I have been working on. I'm looking for some opinions and maybe pointers on the over all lay out and just general impression of the card. All input welcome. Thanks in advance. http://imgur.com/a/3EOnv
Hello everyone. I'd like to announce that Business Cards: the Card Game is currently live on Kickstarter. It's a family card game that I've been told has similar game play appeal to a deck-builder while being it's own standalone game, and I would liken it to BANG! in terms of gameplay. I did all of the artwork myself, and it's a complete product already so we really just need to funding at this point. We also now have a game review over at indietabletop.net that you can read right here. Thanks for looking.
We started the company in 2004 with a single sku and have grown to offer different designs and a few different versions. We're located just outside of Detroit, MI and have a fulfillment center in Traverse City, MI.
Our patented Business Card Holders are the fastest, easiest way to distribute your business cards. CardCues display over 40 cards and can be pinned to a bulletin board or stand upright on a desk. Perfect for community bulletin boards, tradeshows, open houses and direct marketing.
Here's why we love business cards....
Business cards are the most under-rated tool in your marketing arsenal. Compact, energy-efficient, low-cost, low-tech, business cards keep working for you hours, weeks and even years after it leaves your hands!
Advertising with business cards is an almost zero-cost source of sales-leads and is a great strategy for small business, professionals services, trades people and home based entrepreneurs.

All jokes aside, couldn't this get you in some serious trouble if you got caught, by say...a security camera in the parking lot?
After learning how to play perfect basic strategy Blackjack, I did a lot of research, and spent 6 months learning, practicing, and developing my own counting systems (side-counts) using a high end blackjack simulation software called CVCX to beat the house at their own game.
Not only did I learn to count perfectly, track aces, and use a number of side counts, I also developed my own plays such as doubling down on a soft 21 after splitting 10s.
However I pushed it to far and too fast, and was banned first from all Caesarβs Casinos... only to be also banned less than 2 months later from all MGM properties.
My career was short lived. Only 14 months. In which I turned my initial $5000 into just under $185,000.
So last year during summer when I lived in a ski resort in British Columbia, a man approached me who dubbed himself the βCorn Dogβ. He handed me a business card which said βElectric Corn Dogβ and a number on the back next to βGet out of Jail Freeβ, with the offer i outlined in the title.
The guy was totally piss drunk wearing a stained tank top, swim shorts and a straw hat, he was completely bizarre. Seemed friendly enough but Iβve never had the balls to call the number to find out what it is. Maybe you guys could enlighten me?
Hi everyone, I'm Alex a UX/UI student trying to make ends meet.
I hate formalities so straight to the point, do you need a business card? I got you.
10$ per concept
check my portfolio! (i also do branding)
For more unusual shapes and concepts, check my ice cream shop card. it was a blast doing this one, so I'm very happy to receive some ideas like this, they are also more time-consuming and difficult to make so I will be pricing them as 25$ per concept.
As I said, I'm studying UX and UI, so the result is very important for me and you, let's work together to make a great introduction to your clients and leave a good impression, the revisions will be limitless as I want to make the best card I can.
thank you for reading! drink water, stay safe everyone.
edit: thank you so much for the attention!! I will be working on the orders for now!
Why canβt the website just remove the word βboxesβ to describe quantities of business cards!?! I have so many customers who donβt believe all of their cards are in the box because the website makes it sound like theyβll get three separate cartons containing cards. We employees know better, but for fucks sake the customers are like cattle, donβt confuse them, they just start panicking.
Hello!
I don't know why this just struck me but is there logic in getting a 0% APR for 18 months credit card at the start of business school, putting all my NON-TUITION (tuition expenses are covered) expenses on that, then balance transfer to another 0% 18 month credit card, and then paying it off with my full time job?
As a disclaimer, I can definitely afford to pay all my expenses normally, but I will have to sell some of my investments along the way. By going the 0% APR/balance transfer route, I'll have 36 months (3 years) of an interest free loan that I can pay down with a job after 2 years, and not affect my investments at all.
I know it's never advisable to take on credit card debt but this is debt I can pay off overnight if need be. I.e I'm not forced to take on this debt because I can't afford something.
The only thing I see wrong is having a relatively high credit card utilization (predicting around 40%) at the end of business school, but that would drastically reduce when I get a full time job.
Am I insane in thinking this?
So, are business cards still relevant. Saw a linkedin post suggesting that they arent, and your email signature is enough.
I may be old, but I think they are still relevant and its not just my Patrick Bateman side saying that.
Oohhhh, bone paper set in silian rail. If it has a watermark, I'm definitely calling.....
EDIT: Part of this is an honest question so stop downvoting me.
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/28/jpmorgan-is-acquiring-a-major-credit-card-rewards-business-in-a-bet-on-travel.html
JPMorgan Chase has agreed to purchase one of the biggest third-party credit-card loyalty operators in a bet that pleasure travel will rebound sharply after the coronavirus pandemic subsides, CNBC has learned.
βPeople across the globe want to vacation and travel again, and hopefully that will become a reality for many in the near future,β Lake said in a statement. βAcquiring the travel and rewards businesses of cxLoyalty will provide enhanced experiences to our millions of Chase customers once they are ready, comfortable and confident to travel.β
Time to buy more jpm for 2021 recovery play. JPM have strong trading revenue and it will be rebound sharply next year. This is a good non-tech stock to own for long term.
