Compelling argument here by Kerr. No question to Kerr on the outcome of this matchup.
FADE THOSE FLAIRS
Remember preseason when we thought this might be the Bulls year? LMAO. Fire Boylen.
So I (18F) work as an office assistant/secretary at a Veterinarian office, since I mostly just check people and schedule appointments and stuff for their pets, I'm not certified in animal care or anything. A few months ago, we had this one lady ( lets call her S ) come in with her medium sized pit bull mix. I check her in and on her dog's file it says that he has a past history being aggressive towards the Vet/vet techs. This means that he is required to have a muzzle on before going into the room with the Vet. This is the conversation that follows,
Me-"Hey, it looks like Dog has a past history of being aggressive toward the vet so he's going to have to have a muzzle on before he goes into the room. Do you have one with you?"
S-"Uh no I don't have a muzzle with me, he won't need one."
Me-"I'm sorry Ma'am, he is going to have a muzzle on before the Vet can look at him. It's the rules. We have some that we can use for the appointment"
S-"Why is it because he's a pitbull? He is just a... keep reading on reddit ➡
From bears to bulls and everything in between, aligning your market strategy with an animal is an easy way to stop thinking and start winning. Why stay agile in variable market conditions when a singular thesis works just as well? Whether you feel directionless, despairing, or just angry at the Federal Reserve, we have the animal to represent you:
Bear Gang – A relic of the Wall Street where men were men and companies had to earn money. Adherence to bear philosophy comes with a natural self-righteousness in the confidence that western civilization is an unsustainable debt bubble. Just a few more coronavirus deaths and you’ll be content, you promise. You lose money, but you’re morally right.
Bull Gang – Your only regret is that you didn’t buy more. You sleep well at night because you are invested in the engine of the country you love. Your faith is rewarded when stocks only go up. Your wife may not love you for your intelligence, but she’ll be content with taking half
My fellow autists, I write this post to you today to make the retards unaware of the potential risks of being fully bullish in the upcoming week. As much as I enjoy loss porn as much as the next guy there's just no reason for most of it, unless you go full retard. Here are some charts that I believe indicate just where were soon to head:
/ZB (177'01) : this is the 30 yr bond futures and it was resurrected over the past week, again just another major indicator of a bearish market and for you retards that don't know as bonds go up market goes down

Beijing closing schools after a big resurgence of cases. What does this mean for re-opening in the US? Will some cities/states consider pulling back their reopening plans, or will we just overload the healthcare system in the name of the economy?
Edit: spy just plummeted but is inching back up
3x NBA Champion Toni Kukoc here! I’m sure you’ve been watching The Last Dance, so come join me as I answer your questions. Ask Me Anything in the thread below!
Its getting pretty clear to everyone that the market is more and more decorrelated with real economics. In the standard anatomy or a bubble we usually see a bull trap following the first big dip. If we consider that the first big dip ended on march 23 its been quite awhile that this bull trap is going on.
Which asks the question: was it a real crash, or just the news effect of the pandemic and lockdown had on the markets?
By "real crash" I don't mean the sudden drop in stock prices definition, but rather i mean end-of-cycle crash. And this is quite different, by Kondratieff and Schumpteter this kind of crash does not happen because of a news but rather a news is the detonator of a crash that was bound to happen.
We lived in the longest bull run in history and if we think of the economy as a breathing machine if function in two steps:
1 it that has to inhale, inflate, create money and debt to sponsor innovation. During this period, the new products and services start a... keep reading on reddit ➡
Stocks are being manipulated beyond belief. Yes, we’re all excited the country is reopening but man we are seeing unheard of growth %. Nobody is taking their profits despite 50%-60% returns? Crazy.
We’re all going to get FOMO and then have the carpet pulled out from underneath us. Probably after hours too so we just get to a painful death with nothing to do about it. 💀
That being said, congrats to everyone and their gains as of late.
>"During the last championship run in 1998, cracks in the foundation of the teams we’d built began to alarmingly show up at inopportune times. To the adoring public, the age that was showing on Dennis Rodman, the lack of movement by Luc Longley, the slowdown in efficiency after playing over 100 games per year in two of the previous three seasons, was not apparent. The lack of recovery time in the summer, where beaten-up legs could have enough time on (strength and conditioning coach) Al Vermeil’s summer program to gain back the strength they’d lost in playing far longer than any other team in the league, never struck the fans or the media. The fact that winning titles meant drafting last each year in what at the time were poor draft crops meant nothing. We’d gotten lucky in 1990 in that most NBA people did not think that Toni Kukoc would even come to the NBA, and he’d fallen to... keep reading on reddit ➡

This is just a rant. S.O. put up an add on FB saying we needed a sitter. With covid crap still going on in my state I do not want to risk putting my kids in daycare. I'm currently a sahm but I would like to return to work. My so is wanting to take a different job (one that has him traveling and being home on weekends but would be enough extra to cover a sitter/nanny) but I would want to get to know the nanny before I return to work. I've read too many articles about kids being abused by nannies etc. So anyway one of his aunts posted: I was a single parent of 3 kids, never need a sitter. I worked, got an education with done help with the kids but didn't need to hire a sitter. I responded: who watched your kids while you worked and went to school? Hmmmm? If you think I'm gonna let a 4 year old and 2 year old twins stay home by themselves you're out of your freaking mind.
I'm writing this story in hopes that it inspires one of you developmentally disabled "investors" that true autism can prevail...even if you get knocked out 4 or 5 times. I also hope you learn from my monumental mistakes.
Pull up a chair...

They made a few changes around Blizzcon 2018. Mostly to movement abilities, a few cooldowns like restoration ascendance got changed.
They stood on the stage and said multiple consecutive cooldown presses are a problem, they said they want the gcd to feel satisfying to press instead of dead space.
THIS WAS OVER A YEAR AGO. And not like there hadn't been plenty of feedback before then.
There have been threads with thousands of posts on the forums every time they ask for feedback. It's all over twitter. They detail out specific abilities, not just saying "revert them all". Thousands of posts detailing specific abilities that feel bad on the GCD.
And how many changes have we seen in 2019? ZERO.
Now here we are in Shadowlands, no changes have been made to cooldowns and the GCD. In fact we've seen classes get stuff added to the GCD in baseline cooldowns returning, and totems, and what else have you to clutter it up even more.
At what point does it just become bullsh*t, and they n... keep reading on reddit ➡
I am a physician at a major academic center in North Carolina. Our covid cases have started to steadily increase over the last week. What we're likely seeing is the effects of the virus with the opening of the economy and now with recent protests. The incubation period of covid is up to 7 days, and the protests started about 1-2 weeks ago. Phase 1 of our opening in NC started on May 5th. Walking around, few people are wearing masks and restaurants in my city are packed. Long story short, we're going to be in a world of hurt over the next couple weeks.
And the politicians in Raleigh are starting to take notice. There's already been talks of extending the shut down if this trend continues (hint it fucking will). The more conservative states may not lock down again, but more liberal states like New York... keep reading on reddit ➡
I don't know why, it just rubs me the wrong way how OP goes on continuously about how it's so hard to cook and host these big meals for everyone when they don't like anything she likes to cook and gets upset when they bring an alternative to a food they a. were somewhat reasonable in predicting she might make considering her family loves it, and b. they've repeatedly made it a point to say they don't like. If it were OP bringing an alternative dish with her and her MIL complaining, JN would have a ham, I feel.
If you love cooking and hosting and take pride in feeding people as much as you say you do, why do you talk about it like it's the worst form of torture and labor?
I get that it's annoying to have it feel like MIL was pressuring everyone to eat her dessert instead of OP's (ran into a similar situation at a potluck/cookout a while back), and maybe... keep reading on reddit ➡
Since we're trading fairly close to ATHs now, I feel like it's an appropriate time to ask this question. Does anyone here have a legitimate case for why parking my money in equities at these current prices is a good long-term value investment? (no meme answers please)
I realize that the Fed, FOMO, and various other factors may cause people to feel obligated to buy into equities, but those factors don't increase the underlying value of the stocks in question. Everywhere I look, I still see companies going bankrupt or projecting depressed earnings for a good period of time. The main reason I see people are buying stocks is that they're looking for returns created by the expectation that other people will pay more down the line.
Nowhere do I see people projecting great earnings growth and a favorable environment given the now (more) massive amount of debt we have to service. P/E ratios have expanded. With more debt, the risks of stocks in general have also increased (liquidity =/= s... keep reading on reddit ➡
I don't post often and usually don't care enough to throw my opinion out there on things like this but I can't help but say something about all of this. After recent events I've seen a lot of discussion about a pit bull ban in the province and its infuriating. Everyone seems to think it either has to be an absolute ban or no regulation whatsoever.
Two years ago I was in Hamilton staying at a relatives home while getting ready to move to Toronto for school. I was attacked from behind by their pit bull and pinned to the ground. The dog shredded up both my arms while I tried to hold it off from my face and neck. My relatives heard me screaming and ran in and managed to get it off of me, but my arms were in bad shape. Thankfully they fully healed other than some scarring but the trauma from the incident caused me to drop out of university a month later. In the following march I was diagnosed with PTSD and had multiple therapy sessions, however still today I feel uneasy around dogs I am un... keep reading on reddit ➡
###THE RED BULL JUNIOR TEAM PRODUCES LOSERS
In this world, there are only so many winners.
It is inherently unequal. The winners have to be the select few. Nobody can be the pick of the litter if there is no litter to compare it to. Every class has its valedictorian, but everyone else is just... 'normal'. Some may win scholarships, but they're not the ones making the fancy graduation speech.
The Red Bull Junior Team claims to be this cream of the crop. They're the school of the four-time World Champion. The breeding ground for young record breakers and eternally happy Australians. Join Marko, and you're not only guaranteed a spot on the dance floor, but you'll become the prom king (or queen/gender-neutral royalty).
However, life's not all that beautiful for Marko's men and women. For every Vettel and Verstappen, you have Kvyat and Gasly. For every Gasly and Kvyat, you h... keep reading on reddit ➡
