Edit: Now available!
The 40v shop vac went from "Not sold on Lowes.com" to "Out of stock", I bet they will release it before Christmas.
Also brickseek now acknowledges that this is a product in the Lowe's inventory, prior searches said it did not exist.
Thoughts?
This seems to be a big thing lately, people somehow using Brickseek along with the Walmart App to track clearance prices and picking up tons of high value items for pennies on the dollar. It appears to me like being successful with this requires a combination of luck and persistence, and the amount of time and energy it seems most people end up placing on scoping out and traveling makes it seem like more effort than itβs worth. I also unfortunately live in a market where Walmart clearances almost nothing, and Iβm amazed to see people with carloads of LOL Dolls, Basketball Hoops, Trampolines, Baby equipment, etc. that they paid next to nothing for because none of the stores in my area ever drop prices that low, and will let old inventory sit at full price until it evaporates into dust.
So specifically hear in Utah, Major Melon released this month and since the itinial stock stores got almost everywhere has been sold out and have seem to not restock.
I'm sure there's some like off the wall places that might have it or low traffic area stores or gas stations but there has been some places where they got some in stock and sold out as early as 24 hourd within 24 hours they ran out.
Also the first day I saw that Walmart here had them on BrickSeek some stores said limited stock and others didnt.
The Walmart I went to did not say limited stock and got there and they only had 1 available in the whole store and the spot where it was only had room for about 8 of them which was in the small color up front by the registers. The rest of the mini fridge was stalked with regular Mountain Dew and Pepsi..
Anyways I caught the PepsiCo that delivers to places in my area at a gas station and he said they have had to limit stock of how much each store gets because they didn't have a enough inventory of it to go around which has to do partly of the pandemic. One gas station for instance only got 2 cases and sold out in 24 hours from what the Manager said which was also the same gas station the PepsiCo guy was at.
He said the next shipment shouldn't be as limited for stores like the initial release. Let's hope so.
Also not sure why but we have only gotten 20 oz bottles. No Cans, and no 16.9 oz 6 packs as of yet. Not sure why that is unless they were limited to what form they could have it in for here at first.
Anyone else having a hard time trying to find more after their initial stock at stores?

Hey all. Iβve recently been trying to set my foot into flipping part time on Ebay. Iβm a very new seller with only like 11 reviews. I have a full time salaried job so I want to keep things pretty casual, my goal is to be able to generate maybe around $500+ in profits each month. But first things first, its probably more important for me to grow my Ebay store reviews.
Because I figured OA is a lot harder and requires more dedication to pull off, I wanted to try RA.
I started off with listing items that I had lying around, then started looking around in Brickseek and eventually got an extreme membership. Iβve spent the last 1.5 weeks or so driving to local & non-local (20 miles away) retailers after work, to get βextreme membership dealsβ based on what Brickseek was telling me. First couple of attempts went horrible, then I started calling in to have the employees confirm they have the items in stock.
All places except Loweβs didnβt have the items when I got there. Turns out employees see whatever I see on Brickseek in terms of inventory. When I get there and ask for help, 100% of the reps I speak to are confused because they see the item as βin stockβ but canβt find it anywhere - they end up apologizing and telling me it must be somewhere in the store and they donβt have a way to track it. I ended up finding a product that had 9 in stock for a great deal, but it only profits me $6-$13 depending on the buyerβs location. This really didnβt seem to be worth my time..
Okay, Brickseek is a huge hit or miss kind of thing. So I figure I canβt rely on Brickseek, and try local department stores and thrift stores. Most items that I find in department stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx will only leave me with a $1-$2 ish profit, even if the item was on clearance, and the shipping is First Class (I havenβt checked out any clothing or shoes, seemed like it would be more difficult to sell due to sizes). Thrift stores like Goodwill seemed to barely have anything worthy of selling, and it doesnβt give refunds in case items donβt sell. I donβt want piles of inventory just sitting in my home for years again, Iβm still trying to get rid of things in the house.
So what am I doing wrong here?
Do I simply need to dedicate time as if Iβm a full time flipper (which I canβt, I have a job that pays very nicely)?
Where do you guys normally source to sell on Ebay? (not amazon FBA, still need to learn how all that stuff works, time is very limited for me)
For RA, the items

If brickseek or your other sites show in stock, GET IN LINE, DO NOT CALL!
I got off work today and my local Walmart showed 6+ in stock that had just updated. I immediately called and spoke with, no joke, a lady named Karen in electronics. I politely asked about the consoles and was met with a quick βNO WE DONT HAVE THEM WE WONT HAVE THEM WE DONT KNOW WHEN OR IF WE WILL EVER GET THEMβ ... so I said alright, Iβll drive up here anyways just to see if anyone else is in line. Low and behold I got there just in time to be number 6 in line, with people who had been waiting since yesterday. We all called corporate and said the inventory checker showed in stock but the manager was refusing to bring them out. A short 10 minutes later, the manager comes out with her βjuicyβ stamped face mask and says βalright line up, we have 6 PlayStationβs available...β
People, these Walmart employees are sick and tired of hearing about PlayStation and Xbox. Do not expect them to give you reliable information over the phone. Chances are, if you see in stock, so do 100 other people and theyβre probably lining up as you dial the number to call. They will not tell you βyes we may have some comingβ or βI think we have someβ they want to avoid the lines of angry people demanding a PlayStation. Do not get in line yelling and causing a scene like some people do. Be calm and polite and just let them know that you will wait however long it takes. If you see stock pop up, go get in line. Wait a few hours in line if you have to, if it still shows in stock, do as we did and call corporate and let them know there is an enormous line waiting for consoles to be brought out, and that they are refusing to do so.
Best of luck and happy hunting.. DO NOT GIVE UP, Persistence is key.
Looks like lower than CCC low. Only saw it at 1 Target in my area, I went to check it out and found 1 copy on the shelf. I did not purchase it so for sure one on Hilliard Rome Rd in Columbus OH if anyone is around there. I don't ever post these so sorry if I screwed something up. Hopefully some other areas have better luck and it starts spreading. Brickseek

I checked out my local Walmart since Brickseek showed βLow Quantityβ. Itβs not far so I thought it was worth a shot. The lady was super nice after she realized I wasnβt upset they didnβt have any. She did inform me that they received 4 that day and were receiving 8 tomorrow. Sounds like they are just selling them as soon as they arrive.
I did notice a new display was set up for a demo unit. Iβm assuming this is the βLow Quantityβ that hasnβt been moved to the correct inventory status.
I do feel that after the holidays theyβll be a little easier to find especially if we are starting to see daily/weekly direct store inventory.
I found this Dewalt tool set on clearance at Loweβs. It is a company wide clearance according to the customer service rep, I travelled to another store that had it in stock and they had the clearance price as well, albeit unadvertised. I was also able to score the additional 10% veterans discount bringing my total before taxes to 134.55. Can provide proof for mods if required as deal is unadvertised. Good luck!!!
Brickseek is showing the correct price
Lowes has BLACK+DECKER 12-Amp 7.5-in Corded Electric Lawn Edger for $35.98 (usually $89.97) in stores where they have in-stock, I think they are getting rid of Black & Decker's to make way for Craftsman edgers. Some HomeDepot stores are matching this price, got one for HD this morning (receipt attached)

I'm only seeing it for $125 but it's out of stock. You will likely have better luck at the store, in person.

Is it Walmarts policy to make it as hard as possible to find Neca products at their store?
Here's what happened today: Checked a SKU on Brickseek for twopacks and see it says 3-4 available at a local store. I asked an associate when I arrived if they can check and they say they have 4 in stock in the electronics section. So I walk my happy ass over but low and behold they don't have a single one. I ask a electronics manager if they're possibly in the back and they said they don't keep those types of items in the back, if it's not there they don't have it. They refused to check altogether to check in the back for an item that was confirmed to be in stock. This isn't the first time this has happened to me; it's occured at Walmarts and Targets. They refuse to be helpful in anyway.
After seeing that post on here of all the stock just sitting in the back of a Target, I'm beginning to think that happens a lot more often than should.
I just saw someone commenting that they found one at Lowe's again... I grabbed a couple last year after someone posted, so I'm returning the favor in case any of you are looking. I just went onto the Lowe's site and looked up the product number:
You can look up stock for it at your local Lowe's, go to https://brickseek.com/lowes-inventory-checker/ and use product #430194.
Note that the spiral aloes they carry are tissue propagated by Monrovia growers. They're less robust than seed-grown, but they'll often have pups as a hormonal side-effect of the chemical soup they grow these things in! (I ended up with about 8 spiral aloes last year after buying 2 pots of them, ha ha-- sadly they won't KEEP pupping, it's sort of a one-time thing so maybe they're more like weird conjoined twins-litters?)
I was at Walmart today and noticed they had a lot of their grills on clearance. A lot of the ones that are still in boxes were being put on pallets for what I assume is storage for next year. As there were some already put on top of the racks in the lawn and garden area.
Using the Brickseek inventory checker (https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/) I found they had the air fryer model priced at only $300.00 but showed zero in stock showing on both Brickseek and Walmart.com. So I just upgraded my Pro Series Model 1818 with the Airfryer model.
I found an employee to get a pallet down and price check the grill. He scanned it and it showed $300.00. My local WM also had the standard/basic 36" for 150.00 and the 28" with the 2 side burners for 200.00. Obviously all stores are different but with Brickseek you can search your area and see if you can find what you want. And it may show out of stock or low stock (as it did on BS and WM when I looked) but the store had a few of all models mentioned.
Thanks for the heads up from whoever linked to deals.consolekits.com! I had to drive nearly 100 miles round trip, but was able to find a store which had SF2 for $199 and the risers for $46. Bought those, and took to another OOS Walmart that had the cab in the system for $74 and the risers for $11.
This situation blew the Customer Service people's minds. They weren't sure, so called a manager who just said to do it, and typed the code for override. The other two asked how I found out about this, but no way I was giving away the secret! I said "a friend" told me.
All told I went from $270 purchase to something a little below $100 after tax for cab and riser! This cab will be fitted with retropie very soon.

Get it while you can!
So this past weekend I did a Memorial day cook on my Camp Chef Smoke Pro. The weekend had started with me doing a cleaning of the smoker( scraping and sucking up the bits with the shop vac) as best as i could.
Well when it was time to cook i was able to get about 2.5 - 3hrs worth of rib time on before i noticed my high smoke setting starting to climb. Before i new it the smoker was reading at 385 on high smoke. I opened the smoker to dump the heat and i power cycled the until to set if maybe the IT novice in me would fix it.
To no avail the smoker when turned back on to high smoke, ramps back up to the high 300βs. Low smoke as well. I read someone had something like this happen to a minor degree and they had the idea of opening the lid just a little to let out some of the heat so this is what i did. While watching the thermometer i decide to set the smoker at 300 and see what it does. When i did that the temp dropped all the way down to 220.
Now i am not really complaining cause i have had the old girl for about 4 years now and i got her for $99.00 from a brickseek deal i found so i think i more than got my moneys worth out of her. But i guess my question is would it be worth it to replace the parts or new buy a new one? I dont know really if camp chef is a great brand or what. I just bought it cause i wanted to try a pellet and i had $100 to waste. I am have way thinking its the controller or the internal thermometer. If it is are there 3rd party parts that can be used? Looks like the internal thermometer for camp chef sucks. At least according to their website.
I want to switch from gas to charcoal and have been watching the local inventory and pricing on Brickseek and in person for months now waiting for prices to drop since winter is coming. Christmas stuff is is now out yet my local Lowes still have a significant area for display grills both inside and at the front outside and even in an isle for boxed grills.
At some point.. and that is coming soon in Maine, its going to be too cold for the average person to grill. Does anyone know if Lowes/Home Depot ever puts these on clearance at the end of the season or do they just save them for next year? Anyone have experience in the northeast and know about when this happens? I find it hard to believe people in mid October are willing to pay full price for a Weber kettle just to store it over winter and miss out on a new upgraded model likely to come in the spring.
I know walmart and target already blew out their stock, but both of them locally were already out of stock or didn't carry the premium/master kettles.
I had to drive a couple of hours but it was worth it.

Ive seen some expired links that some machines have been 75 bucks in the past. Anyone know of any in the same range now? Maybe they will drop for black Friday?
I was bumming around Lowes after work today and saw they had the Roost 9V batteries on clearance for $9 each. I was going to buy a couple and price checked them at the front when ringing out. They were only $.01 each.
When I obvisoully went back to grab all of them and came back to the front the POS wouldn't let me ring them out. The associate said they were RMAC, so they couldn't sell them to me. Not sure what changed in those few minutes, but I felt cheated.
Maybe some of you will have better luck.
It looks like Target may have now put many of the 3DS games on the initial stage of clearance in stores. I'm currently seeing 30% off on a lot of them. If so this will likely go up to 50% off and then 70% off in the coming weeks. Some games are not included, such as the Nintendo Selects titles.
For example some games that are marked down:
^ (There may be others)
note: some of these may currently be cheaper on the Target.com sale, at least until the discount increases
Iβm about to start conducting retail arbitrage, but Iβm uncertain how to find a good source for providing local deals.
BrickSeekβs free side shows local stores and supposed deals, many appearing quite lucrative. However, the data seems rather suspect.
For example: it showed a local (not online) Loweβs deal with childrensβ walkie-talkie radios for under $4, retailing elsewhere for over $19. The deal had been updated only a few hours earlier.
When I went to the local Loweβs site, however, not only were the radios out-of-stock, but were also listed at the same $19 price point found elsewhere on line. Now, maybe another RA seller bought them out, but that doesnβt explain the price point. Nor does it explain how the next 9 closest Loweβs all showed being out-of-stock at $19.
Iβm tempted to get the premium package, but is that information any more accurate? Or more reliably timely?
Iβm just not sure if BrickSeek isnβt selling premium subscriptions, with the same lack of accuracy that the free part has.
Personal experiences (or advice) with BrickSeek?
So I recently was able to purchase several Nest E smart thermostats for cheap from Walmart, and wanted to share it here. Walmart sells 2 versions of the Nest E, one with just the thermostat, and another version where the Nest E is combined with a Google Home mini. Both MSRP for $169, but whereas the Thermostat itself is full price, they appear to be trying to clear out stock of the Nest + Home Mini combos, and certain stores are selling them at clearance pricing. To check if this is the case in your local stores, do the following:
Go to the Walmart Brickseek website (just google that)
Fill in the SKU and your local zip code, and hit search. The SKU for the Nest + Google Home Mini combo is 991980757
You will get a list of the closest Walmart stores, how many each store has in stock, and how much it is charging.
For instance, my local zip is 21044, if I do the search, most stores have it for $169, but store #2412 in Ellicott City has 10 in stock and are selling at $124. Store #2290 has it at $70! But has none in stock. They had 2, but I drove down there last week and bought both of them.
I first heard about this deal on a Lowe's Nest thread on slickdeals, when someone mentioned certain Walmarts have these even cheaper. This is an especially good deal depending on where you live. My local utility will actually give you a rebate of up to $100 for smart thermostats, for up to 3 thermostats bought, so I am actually able to get these for free after rebate.
Note if you do find a local store selling it for cheap, you actually have to drive down there and buy it in person. Make sure they get the Nest + Google Mini combo box, not just the Nest thermostat, as those are not discounted. It also doesn't work to order one from their website with pickup at that store. If you do that, the price is still $169. I guess Walmart.com is actually sort of a separate entity from the physical store, so if you order one online, it will go with their online pricing, not the in store pricing.
Obviously if you can bag a Nest E AND a Google Home Mini for under $100, it is a great deal. Hopefully this is helpful for those of you in the market for a Nest E. You can give your local Walmart stores a quick check via Brickseek and see if you can get a discounted thermostat!
Edit: OMG my Reddit Gold cherry broken! From a humble post about Walmart and thermostats! Thanks kind fellow redditor!
