Hi team
Panasonic's launching some new machines this year. Here's the link:

I can't find anything about them that's better over the past generation, so I was hoping you'd help me spot the value.
Hi everyone! My wife is celiacs, so obviously bread is a problem. No store bought bread does it for her, so I am looking at buying her a bread maker for Motherβs Day.
I notice online thereβs normal bread makers, then thereβs gluten free bread makers. Whatβs the difference? Also, what is the best , affordable , recommended one from you all? Thanks!!!
I am European, and the bread situation is steadily driving me into despair (I don't live close to Seoul and outside baguettes nothing else seems particularly edible unless I am in the mood for sweets...). I've been thinking about getting a bread maker (one that could make proper bread with crunchy shell, including whole wheat, not the cheap soft toast bread which I detest...), but I run into the problem that most brands sold here seem mostly unknown in English - no reviews for Magic Chef, Wiswell, μ€μ±μ¬, no English manuals, and I am frankly worried they are designed to produce the same sweet candy bread that seems to be the staple here.
And then most of the English reviews I see are for American models - which, setting aside the rough 50% added cost when factoring shipping and import taxes, also come with different voltage. I have bad experience with voltage converters (unreliable, bulky, extra $$$) so I'd rather use something that works without one (sigh, those Zojirushi machines do seem nice...).
So I'd really appreciate advice from folks who have experience with bread makers here, doubly so if you got one of the Korean brands. Extra tips on where to buy bread maker supplies in Korea won't hurt either.
I make bread but not all the time. I just am curious what is great about a bread machine? I tried googling but just shows me what items to buy. Sounds dumb, but why buy one? How much does it help?
If you do recommend, what product to start with?
Thank you!
Thought I might get one of these to amuse myself with during lock-down. Seems like you can get a decent one for around Β£100 but do folk actually use them or does the novelty wear off?
And is the bread any good?
I tried the organic country loaf which is a sourdough and the cranberry walnut loaf
i always get sad you never hear anything about her ruining the bread maker. schmidt was so excited but it was never brought up again. anyone else notice that?
My family in-law from Japan sent us a 100v bread maker, and I've read that it's best for 100v Japanese appliances that get hot to use a step-down transformer from 110v (American outlet).
My question -- would a 500 watt transformer be sufficient for the bread maker which use 370 watts? Or, would I need to quadruple (4 * 370 = 1480) the wattage of the appliance to be safe? In other words, get a transformer that is at least 1480 watts.
The reason I ask is that the transformer I'm considering purchasing states the following: "Power tools, laser printers and heating appliances like coffee makers, toasters, microwaves, lasers, Halogen, Fluorescent bulbs you must leave a margin of 4 times." (The 4 times is a reference to the wattage).
Too many choices and reviews seem to be all over the place.
The smarter the better (automation), but quality is the key.
