i remember there was like this whole “brandy melville cult” on depop and you could sell “rare” brandy items for a decent amount, is this still a thing?

Even brands like Abercrombie and Fitch are super inclusive nowadays (if you only remember them from the 2000s and early 2010s, go look at their website, you'd probably be very surprised!), but one brand that has not caught up with the times is Brandy Melville. I always thought something was wrong with their one size fits all policy : clothes were made so that if you weren't the right size, you were SOL.

It's so irritating how this is legal, and how the CEO was never help accountable for his actions. Seriously, why is what he's doing legal?

I want to get some. I’ve never gotten anything from there before. I know they only make things in one or two sizes but what size do they typically fit? The website says waist 28 or 29 on the descriptions for most of their pants but I thought they ran smaller than that. I’m 5’2 and a 25.5-26 inch waist so usually a size 2. If anyone knows how their sizing works that would be helpful.

I’m a really small dude, and I often have a VERY hard time finding clothes that fit me in both men’s and woman’s sizes as everything is either too big or sized but made for shorter people, meaning the pants ride up or don’t go all the way down. Last year, I made a pitstop at a mall and found Brandy Melville. All of their clothes fit me like a glove, they were comfortable, weren’t too tight or too loose in the wrong places, I hadn’t had such luck with sizing since I went to hot topic. Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of the lack of gender neutral clothing, as dumb as that sounds. I wish brandy would come out with a mens line!

I don’t understand how I always manage to look so big in the mirrors of the changing rooms in brandy Melville. I’m trying on a pair of jeans and I just feel so fat. I fit in the jeans fine but when I took the jeans off. My legs just look so short and fat and I’m just so frustrated. Does anyone else feel the same about changing room mirrors?

Visiting here on vacation and seems as though the Brandy Melville on Granville Street always has a massive line curving down the street pretty much 24/7. Whats so special about it?

Hey guys! I recently thrifted this shirt that looks like it might be a dior knockoff. It has the monogram pattern but it’s printed on cheap fabric and doesn’t seem to be well made. It’s a tube top but the stitching is so weird, almost like by an amateur. The tag inside says Brandy Melville, but I don’t remember Brandy ever making something like this, or why they would have the Dior logo. Anyone have any idea what this is or where it’s actually from?

So I'm a pretty thin person that fits the definition of what a Brandy Melville shopper would be (5'3", 95 lbs). None of their pants fit me! I've always had trouble finding small pants that are geared towards smaller people, and when I ordered their lisette shorts, rosa sweatpants and cargo pants, I was shocked to see that they were all massive on me. The pants were easily 4-5 inches too large in the waist. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me? 🥲

I walk by this store on Granville every day and almost always see a long line regardless of the time or day. What exactly do they sell that is worth waiting in line for?

So of course you all clued me into what Brandy Melville is. What a hideously toxic and not even special brand.

But also of course I simply must find out if I fit into their ✨ skinni clothing ✨ before I go into inpatient eating disorder treatment within a few weeks.

At least I bought the jeans off of eBay.

Please don't be a thirsty clown like me contributing to a toxic, fatphobia brand that no doubt is also bad for the environment (fast fashion is pretty hard on our planet).

It will serve me right if the jeans come and do not fit (whether too big or too small) and I am left having to donate some junky piece of clothing I bought solely for my ego. I so totally fell into their trap.

GOD. I had only found oit recently that there was a Brandy Melville in my city. I had been dreaming since then of going in the hopes of it being a validating experience. For context, I’m 20, Canadian, and Brandy Melville is a USA store that is infamous for mostly carrying “one size” which, according to most bad reviews, only fits skinny 14 year olds and anorexics. So even though it’s not quite my exact clothing style, I really wanted to shop there. To either be validated or triggered. I ended up spending 120$ there on cloths that I dont need, just because I felt so goddang validated. I had picked out 5 items and only abandoned one and because of the stupid competitive ana brain I made sure to say outloud, when my bf asked, that I didn’t keep those last shorts because they were “too big”and I didn’t like the fit. (They weren’t too big, they were just elastic and loose fitted and they didnt look good on me.) It was even more validating that for the one thing they had different sizes of, a tennis skirt, the waist band (but not the under shorts) was way too wide at the smallest size and made me feel dainty.

Sorry for the triggering rant I just really needed to get it out of my system
