Bill has a point. ASG is meaningless, with all the team struggling with having active roster players, bringing the best of the best together is a bad idea. The last thing we want is having teams decimated going into playoff. Thoughts?
70-year-old Leona Disseldorf was reported missing on September, 26th, 1958. Leona, who lived alone at 1000 South Brady Street in Attica, Indiana, had retired from teaching 24 years prior and, for the most part, relied on her social security check for income. When her check was due to arrive and Leona didnβt come out to meet the mailman, something she never failed to do, he was concerned.
After checking Leonaβs mailbox and finding the previous days mail still inside, the mailman recruited neighbors help to contact her. After knocking several times on Leonaβs doors, the neighbors and the mailman peered into a window to find no sign of Leona, however her 2 dogs and several cats had knocked over pans apparently in a search for food. Police were summoned and after breaking into Leonaβs home and finding no sign of her, she was reported missing.
Nothing appeared to be out of place in Leonaβs home. The only things missing, aside from Leona herself, were her purse and a small lapel watch that she always wore, leading police to believe she had left with the intention of returning home a short time later.
At 70-years-old, Leona was quite active. She was known to walk long distances alone, even to West Lebanon, 8-miles away. However Leona was also known to hitchhike, accepting rides from locals when offered.
Worried that Leona had possibly gotten injured on one of her walks, police and locals searched her regular routes including a rural farming property that Leona owned near Stone Bluff. Leonaβs sister, who had passed away a few year priors, had left Leona the 80-acre piece of farming property and Leona would frequently walk the property. But even after an extensive search, police found no sign of Leona.
52 days later, on November 17th, Bill Young and Don Hart, two rabbit hunters from Covington, Indiana, stopped to take a break atop a well covered in wooden planks when they noticed a foul smell coming from within. The well was 11 miles southwest of Attica and owned by a woman named Mary Hickman, however the property was farmed and cared for by her brother-in-law, Guy Grady.
Moments after Bill and Don arrived at the well, Guy and his son Gene, who had been farming the property all day, arrived at the well to get water for the radiator in his tractor. Also noticing the pungent odor, Guy helped Bill and Don remove the wooden planks covering the well. Peering into the 40 foot deep well, the men noticed the water appeared to be oily, and a strange bluish colo

After not seeing or hearing from Leota for almost 24 hours, Beverly was worried she might be hurt.
Beverly had known Leota her entire life, and had developed a close friendship with her over the years. When Leotaβs husband Robert passed away in 1977, Leota was forced to put her beloved rural Wingate, Indiana farmhouse up for sale. The Stevens decided to purchase the property and allow Leota to rent the home for practically nothing. After that, the Stevens helped care for Leota, running errands for the widow, bringing her groceries, and helping handle her personal finances.
After knocking several times on Leotaβs front door and receiving no response, David and his son entered the small farmhouse to search for her. When they entered, they found Leotaβs home in complete disarray. Drawers had been dumped out, cabinets were opened, the furniture had been knocked over, even the family pictures Leota had hung from her living room walls had been ripped from their spots and thrown to the floor.
Davidβs search led him to Leotaβs bedroom, and eventually to the connected bathroom, where he found Leota on the floor. She was covered in blood, naked, and her hands and feet had been bound with her bathrobe tie. Leota had no phone, so David and his son immediately went for help. Only minutes after, Beverly and her young daughter arrived at Leotaβs home and went inside. They too, found Leota on the bathroom floor, only this time, Beverly noticed that Leota was still breathing. A few moments later, David and his son returned with police.
Leota was taken to the hospital, however she never regained consciousness. Sadly, on October 20th, she passed away.
It was determined that Leota had been severely beaten in her head, face, neck, and chest less than 24 hours before she was found. Aside from the injuries she sustained, she also developed pneumonia, and the combination of the two ultimately led to her death 19 days later. The weapon used in the violent attack on Leota was never recovered.
A motive behind the attack was initially believed to be robbery, however after carefully going through Leotaβs few scattered belongings, Beverly told police that nothing appeared to have been taken. Leota had few things of value aside from a couple pieces of jewelry,

I (F) have been writing, revising, and poring over my book for 5 or so years, I honestly do not remember when I began it, or had the first idea, I only have back to the second or third draft.
I finished it this Christmas after the help of 2 friends. It is short, and probably inconsequential, but I am terrified to share it with absolutely anyone. As short and small as it is, it is deeply meaningful to me and contains some of my deepest struggles. I poured myself into it. Most people I know know I have written it, since I posted pictures of it bound.
If there's anyone else who has struggled with this and maybe has overcome it, I would love to hear from you. I want to share it, but then again I don't. Thanks :)
Edit adding:
WOAH guys thank you so much! I was NOT expecting to come home from work so such a supporting community. You absolutely made my day!!! XD μ¬λν΄!
Think about it, if you can send your sword or bow and arrows back to a plane of Oblivion then you lose a vital piece of evidence in a way that's untraceable.
Spook 75: Encounter
