I know I’m late to the party, but I just finished the Steel Dawn questline. Story-wise it was better than I expected, I look forward to future updates when I’ll continue resisting the urge to punch Shin in the balls, and hopelessly wish Scribe Valdez could live in my camp for what Curie in FO4 would call “nocturnal experiments”. Or maybe just Netflix and chill, up to her.
My only real gripe is that, unlike in previous Fallouts, you get basically fuck all as rewards. Stimpaks, radaway, purified water, yippeeeeee! No BoS uniform, no BoS armor - and no BoS power armor. A couple of melee weapons. That’s it.
The only reason I can imagine for such shit rewards is the same reason for a lot of bullshit in this game - greed. If you want some cool BoS stuff, you have to wait until the Atomic Shop brings back the limited time bundle, and spend real money on it. Fucking hell. /rant
Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal have turned around the Washington Wizards despite everyone's doubts.
They have won the past 5 games:
104-91 against BOS
131-119 against HOU
130-128 against DEN
118-111 against POR
127-124 against LAL
What an incredible run by this team against quality competition. Russ, even though he misses like 15 shots a game, looks somewhat healthy and Beal is the real deal.
The best offensive team in the league the Nets beat the best defensive team in the league the Lakers 109-98 to extend their winning streak to five. They are now 19-12 sitting #2 in the East.
Just asking since bethesda plans to make the same stupid grind with the new covert scout armor. Grind to unlock plan. Grind to get the legendary roll. Cant trade said items atall. Im okay with grinding for the plan and im okay with not being able to craft a legendary version but the non trading thing is just too much. Either make it tradeable or make it like the secret service armour as in you can craft legendary versions.
Thats my take.
Whats your opinion about this?
Edit* i meant BoS recon armour. My bad
I recently learned that my job is allowing people to go remote full-time (leasing out a good chunk of office space and getting rid of home office designations). I’m from the NYC area, but I stayed in Boston after graduating college. So I have no family or roots here. My fiancé and I were saving up to purchase a home close to my work, but we have come to the conclusion that everything is overpriced and would be a financial strain if he lost his job. He’s from Indianapolis and we’re heavily considering settling down there. I make over six figures so we would have a very financially comfortable life and would actually have his family around to help raise kids.
My major concern is that the it will be too much of a political/social/cultural shock for me. I’m black and he’s white. I’ve lived very liberal areas my whole life. My parents grew up poor and busted their asses to put me through college so I could have a better life, so I’m acutely aware of socioeconomic and racial inequality. I’ve been to Indy once and had a pleasant experience. I thought it was beautiful and quiet place. I’m just worried that (for the areas I can afford to live in) people will treat me as less than or make me feel unwelcome, and that I won’t be able to build my own social circle there.
I was looking into purchasing (or building a home since that seems like a common thing in Indy) in the Zionsville/Noblesville/Carmel/Fishers area. He thinks Greenwood is a good option since it’s close to his family. I’m open to suggestions if there’s a better fit. I’m 50/50 on staying or leaving Boston so I’m desperate for some insight.
Edit: wow this unexpectedly blew up. Thanks everyone for educating me on your city and giving constructive answers. All of your perspectives are soooo appreciated and help a lot.

Edit: 'coerced' might be a better translation than 'blackmailed'
Edit: Rumor says he was coerced into match fixing by bookmakers when he was playing in LDL. After he joined FPX, he was blackmailed by bookmakers to do match fixing in LPL games. He refused and got exposed by bookmakers. Before FPX's statement, there have been many rumor sources about his LDL match fixing. The League's zero tolerance policy against match fixing has beco... keep reading on reddit ➡
Meltzer confirmed that Dallas is still under contract and for some reason, creative has not come up for anything for him to do.
Yes, he’s there. You know how they say creative has nothing for him? In his case, that’s actually true. Usually when people say that, it’s something else. I don’t know why he’s never been cut. They never use him [or] why they didn’t cut him and they cut all those guys that they cut in April. He’s still there, still got a job. No idea what or why or anything. [It’s a] big mystery.”
The 30-year-old Dallas was last seen at a house show in November 2019. His last TV appearance was at the Crown Jewel event on 10/3/19 and a month earlier would have been his last appearance on a weekly TV show.
In late 2019, Dallas said that he was going to go on a life changing expedition and fans would see a Bo they’ve never seen.
I've been running Ops for a few weeks and gotten no plans. I'm usually solo, a few times I managed to run with one other person. Never hit elder. Is it at all possible to get plans solo?
I get tired of server hopping trying to find a group.
Edit: I'm on pc.
Because I don't recall Christine ever naming Veronica in her dialogue, and I sure know Veronica never names Christine in hers (and I did a quick keyword search of their dialogue on the wiki just to check this and neither mentions the other). I don't recall anything that pointed towards Christine even being part of the Mojave Chapter either, I always got the impression she was from Lost Hills since she says ' which is an entirely different chapter so a cross chapter romance would seem extremely unlikely to begin with as cross chapter interactions are rare.
The stories the two give about the breakup with their ex's also differ rather quite extensively and don't seem to have any crossover beyond both being BOS (given that they aren't open to outsiders that's not anything of note) and that they both broke up with their ex. Veronica saying that her ex left the Brotherhood to get away from her parents. Meanwhile in Christine's story, well first off she obviously never left the Brotherhood since she's straight up tasked with killing Elijah for them, and she says she was forced to break up with her ex by the Elders and never so much as mentioning her parents.
Also in post Dead Money gameplay you have the chance to tell Veronica about Elijah and how you killed him, yet there's no option to tell her about Christine. Now this makes perfect sense if they never even knew eachother since why would you tell her about some random stranger who just happened to be in the same faction, however if Christine was Veronica's ex this decision makes zero sense since that'd make her at least as important to Veronica as Elijah was and if they went to the effort of including lines for him why wouldn't they for Christine too.
So the whole 'Veronica and Christine' thing doesn't appear to have anything backing it up and just comes off sounding like someone came up with the idea themselves and everyone just accepted it as fact (be it immediately or overtime, idk how long that theory has been going around) because people like to ship characters. Have I missed some crucial single note that's hidden away somewhere in OWB somewhere that confirms it (and thus probably retconned this in after the fact since it came out after DM, which would explain why you can't mention it to Veronica since they'd already finished with DM and wouldn't add new stuff to the old dlc when working on the new dlc) or is it just exactly what it currently appears to be, someones headcanon that managed to catch on... keep reading on reddit ➡
Didn’t see a thread so I took matters into my own hands.
Game day thread! Sleepy mods edition ;)
hint hint legendary modules
Basically I just wanna discuss an RP decision lol.
I’m tempted to do the quest “with our powers combined” after my character defects from the Brotherhood to lead the Minutemen in my rp, which he does after saving Danse’s life in my play through.
Do you guys think it makes sense for the Minutemen to declare war against the BoS? Are they a threat or a potential ally?
Pros: Maxson and Proctor Quinlan (yuck) get vaporized. Innocent Synths and synth sympathizers don’t gotta worry about getting hunted by men in power armor. Minutemen inherit a Vertibird Air Force. Unless stopped, Proctor Teagan will probably send another Knight or group of Knights to extort food from the locals.
Cons: Haylen turns hostile :( and there are plenty of decent folk on the Prydwen that get slapped. I’m gonna feel bad about sending Brandis and Madison Li back there lol. And also, the Squires get zapped... The Brotherhood may leave on their own eventually without bloodshed, and don’t really have open hostility towards people in the Commonwealth unless you’re a synth or railroad member.
What do you guys think? What makes sense from a story perspective? What’s downright more interesting from a narrative perspective?
Edit: Strong arguments for both sides, revised my pros and cons list
The fort needs a Vendor, and we need a place to buy Power Armor headlamp plans/mods. The Quartermaster would have stock similar to other fallout games, and would also stock plans and mods for all power armor types.
Edit: at Fort Atlas, my bad.
I've been to the purveyor, done daily ops, and asked around but I cant find one or the plans AT ALL. Is it even in the loot pool?
EDIT: The knowledge i have gained brings me harsh and abrupt pain. Please, no more.
EDIT 2: Why would you pay to give me a silver award? Save your money to buy overpriced cosmetics.
