The Phoenix Suns now have the best record in the early goings of the season, much like they had last year. However, with a combination of added veterans in CP3 and Crowder, young guys stepping up big time in Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges and Cam Payne, as well as the bench being a net positive, it appears this might be sustainable. What do you guys think?
Devin Booker shoots more 3's so their TS% ends up being about equal.
Not really 2 players that would be compared often but the comparison really highlights the type of season Randle is having.
Booker is having a bit of a slow start to the season stat wise while Brown is exploding.
Booker: 23ppg/4rpg/4apg on 58% TS
Brown: 27ppg/6rpg/4apg on 62% TS
Who would you rather have for the future?
In the 3:20 period when Booker sat, the Suns were a whopping -19. Now, for context, the Suns were already down during the moments when Booker sat and most of his +/- is derived from clawing back a 31-point deficit into a close game. But still, this is a mind-blowing little bit of single game +/-. Bookerβs usual backups, Langston Galloway and Jevon Carter, were -19 in the 3 minutes they shared the floor.
Just imagine him sitting beside Michael in one of Deanna's old outfits, looking at the screen, and moaning "I feel pain!"
Hopefully whatever happened during the lose ball isn't serious. If it was enough to get him on the bench I doubt he will play tomorrow. He didn't seem to be in a crazy amount of pain. Injury is the only reason I could see for him not being out there.
31 Pts, 5 Reb, 5 Ast, 11-21 from the field

Idk why he decided to tweet this but its fricken hilarious.
That being said, I will be reporting anyone who calls him Devin so tidy up r/nba, these guys aren't your friends.
Any questions can be directed toward the new self-proclaimed enforcer of the Book Rule, u/babyyodavan. Thank you.

> According to @ryenarussillo, itβs the βworst kept secret in the NBAβ that Devin Booker already wants out of Phoenix.
Thoughts? Where do you think Booker would fit in the best?

Update: He just got the INJ tag on Yahoo
Randle and the NYK is one of the biggest suprises for me this season. With his new role, Randle is performing really well and they have 3-3 record. Sure he has many turnovers as well with 4.5 tpg, it is a good leap by Randle.

He played like ass, fumbled that dunk attempt. What a way to waste a great Ayton game. Doing everything we want from him and we lose. Ugh.
This morning when i first looked and picked up Booker, his expected points was 5. Theyβve now updated it to 12.8, which suggests ESPN believes Josh Jacobs is going to sit out, correct? Cannot find any news that heβs officially out though.
A game so nice, I had to post it twice! (Wrong score the first one my bad)
Probably the worst game Iβve ever seen from Book. That Kardashian curse is hitting Simmons and Booker at the same time.

No one is quite sure yet what exactly is injured or the severity, but he seemed to hobble a bit towards the bench after a wild loose ball play where Will Barton seemed inadvertently to fall on him. Keep in mind the game was on the line so I highly doubt D-book would do this if he was just tired or slightly in pain. Just keep and eye out in him and Iβll try to update this if I get any news, feel free to add to it in the comments.
Click for a video of the injury, angle isnβt the best but it will have to do
Edit: Seems to be a hamstring injury and is βunlikelyβ to play tomorrow - https://twitter.com/FantasyLabsNBA/status/1352856607907049472?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet
Edit: He is ruled out for the game tonight
LaVine: 27ppg, 5.3 assists, 64% TS
Booker: 23ppg, 4.1 assists, 58% TS
Zach is unarguably performing better than Booker through 15 games, it's not even close. Is he now the better player? Who would you rather have on your team going forward?
Change my mind!
Imagine if it was the other way around. If PG said that to Book, and Book bust his ass and gave him a Loss in LA...PG would be the laughing stock of the NBA, again.
