Mine are the MP7, the M110 SASS and the Mosin-Nagant.
My commute will be at about 65 miles round trip when I return to the office. For the past year, I have only been driving my 1992 4Runner which I plan to keep (and love). But, the 4Runner only gets about 12mpg and isn't that safe by today's standards. In my 20's I enjoyed having a fun car to drive (MKVI VW GLI 6MT) but I think I'm over the go-fast lifestyle.
I feel like I would enjoy the tech in an EV but also want it to make sense financially. Also, I'm a tall guy at 6'7". I feel like there will be many more options for EV in the coming 2 years, but feel like I need something for the highway now.
I also considered leasing to bridge the gap and allow more EV options to hit the market but realize that can also be accomplished just by buying and selling later if I so choose.
Is the Bolt a better commuter car than say a Mazda 3 or CX30 on 12k miles per year? Are there better options than the 2022 Bolt EV?
