Classes shouldn’t feel “complete” with a soulbind/covenant ability, they should feel complete by level 50. Relying on temporary power (azerite traits, essences, soul binds, covenant abilities, legendaries) is absolutely shitty game design and does nothing to fix a big negative point of BFA which is that certain specs just feel shitty to begin with. I see a lot of comments like “just wait for soulbinds, just wait for legendaries”. Why should a spec wait for a soulbind to feel fun, when other specs already feel great/complete without them?
Shadow, Feral, Guardian, Frost DK, Arcane, and Subtlety are some of the specs that I feel need either major or minor revamps/changes. Shadow Priest is being looked at, but only because it was THAT bad and we really don’t know to what extent it’s being changed yet.
I think all specs have talents that need to be relooked at and redesigned. Too many specs rely on specific talent rows to fill a big hole in their gameplay, rather than ADDING to it (I thin... keep reading on reddit ➡
I'm Japanese and running japanese weekly tounrament at Taiwan server.
When playing in Asia server, Japanese player mainly use Taiwan server because connection from Japan to Korean server is very bad.
But in the latest patch, Taiwan server is gone, we are in huge trouble and JP community is really upset.
Blizzard please tell us why you delete TW server and whether it will come back or not.
Out of the top 100 guilds on wow progress 13 are Alliance, with 3 of them going horde next expansion. I heard rumours about a fourth one also going Horde. Another 3 are from the Oceanic servers where the faction balanced is skewed in favour of Alliance.
On my server, which was one of the top servers for competitive Alliance players, 7 out of the top 11 guilds went Horde or are going Horde for Shadowlands.
This faction imbalance also affects m+ where only 7 of the top 100 timed keys were done by Alliance teams.
At this point I honestly don't see how they'll ever be able to fix the faction imbalance. I don't want them to remove factions, but I really hope they allow us to do cross faction raiding and M+. We already got Mercenary mode for PvP, where factions should matter the most, so why can't we have it for PvE as well?
It got pretty old during the story of Diablo 3 to hear terrible dialogue by antagonists saying things like “YOU’LL NEVER DEFEAT ME!”
Could there be a more lazy form of writing than the dialogue in D3? It was so basic and childish that it felt like a Saturday morning cartoon.
I kept waiting for every boss to say “and I would’ve gotten a way with it too! If it weren’t for you pesky Nephalem!”
Also, can someone tell Blizzard nuance and subtly is a thing?
If everything is glowing and spiky and bloody and loud, then nothing leaves an impact.
I think they need to play Dark Souls a few thousand times and take some notes on subtle story telling, world building and what actual darkness and despair look like.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Blizzard accidentally uploaded the patch notes for the Anniversary event 2020 which will go live on the 19th.
The page was taken down almost immediately after it was uploaded so this was all I could get.

Would be great to have a place where we can all hang around and also slowly upgrade our guild hall with Reid trophies and so on.
A guild hall is something that would still be used even if we get 10 more expansions unlike garrison halls
Wanted to add this that might fix the problem of cities becoming empty.
Let's say you need to build a raid trophy for your hall, you go to that city trade market and there could be a new vendor there that handles all guild hall progression.
They don't need to and should not transfer a lot of benefits of a city into guild halls. Guild halls should be unique, a place to maybe get drunk, mini games as you wait for raid, or arenas , bgs to start or just talking shit on discord.
Imagine if there was a system that captured maybe a gif of boss kills and you could view it in your guild hall by clicking on that trophy, have a list of all the participants names, builds, gear and so on.
Incase my title is worse on here than it sounded in my head, basically what I’m trying to say is why not give x ability across the board to arms warrior (for example) and depending on the covenant it just looks different? I don’t know about other people but I’m choosing my covenant based on the best endgame content that only true WoW players understand (transmog) and I don’t wanna be kicked out of a raid or mythic plus simply because I choose the covenant I liked the most.
Arguably it took my a tad bit less than 6 minutes but still...
At a higher ilvl I'd imagine the Darkshore World Boss would be soloable.
Going into shadowlands with the whole level squish and therefore ilvl squish I honestly hope we don't see a crazy power creep. But the fact that we have 4 raid difficulties each being 15 ilvl apart, is worrisome.
Seeing how bad they fucked up the horde’s lore, im relieved the alliance didnt turn out to be a hot mess like the horde.
Like the last major Alliance plotpoint i could remember was thesend off to Varian and it was handled better than Vol’jin and Saurfang. Id say the only bad part is how they didn’t let the justifiable vengeful characters retaliate like Jaina, Genn and Tyrande, seems like missed opportunities for those characters to show their darker sides. Its almost like they didnt want the alliance to cause damage to the horde and the whole expansion played out as Horde vs Horde which leads me to my next point
It seems like someone on the lore team is a major horde fanboy that gave the faction so much attention and circlejerked the horde to the point where they ended up with a Mary Sue Garrosh 2.0 and made them go through 4 warchiefs
First and most important thing, flasks aren't necessary to clear any content , that is not the point of this post. I just want to know the community opinion on this.
Prices on Herod are approaching 300g per black lotus and it will only go up going into AQ and Naxxramas. During vanilla from player accounts lotus was amywhere from 50-100g depending on server.
Do you think Blizzard should intervene or should it stay as is? They did similar for devilsaurs (Increased spawn rate to counter mafias and market cornering) back in phase 2.
Why is Whitemane swarming with THOUSANDS of multi-boxing bots right now, causing queues for no reason? Region-lock the server already and manually ban the blatant bots everywhere.
I love Suramar, the nightborne lore, their armour and looks. But they’re impossible to play or enjoy.
I understand that the allied races weren’t supposed to be too complex but the early allied races look like blizzard spent about five minutes on them in total. The nightborne especially
They have the godawful ‘headache’ casting animations, minimal customisation and half of their hairstyles look like they aren’t even supposed to be there. The nightborne are so cool in concept and I feel like blizz could treat them like some of the fancier allied races (as the Zandalari, Kul’tiran onwards look amazing and feel great to play)
TL:DR I’d like Blizzard to update nightborne as they were wasted as an early allied race.
Edit: I’m mainly referring to the weird stances for female nightborne and that godawful ‘headache’ animation. When the race is mainly ‘caster’ themed, spell casting animations mean a lot and the night elf animations are so ugly.
I’d also like to clarify. When I mean the... keep reading on reddit ➡
I've dealt with a lot of incompetence from Blizzard. But this takes the cake. There are people on A52 who are pretending to be M+ carries selling runs to people. I have a lot of gold in wow because all I do is farm and I've been playing for 15 yars. so I figured I'd let them scam me so I could report them and hopefully get them banned.
Then about 15 minutes later, I'm logged out and banned. For 3 days.

As it stands, it will take a new player, alt, or returning player over 2 months to catch their cloak up to the maximum corruption limit AFTER they hit rank 15. Getting only 6 corruption per week (one from visions, and one from a N'zoth kill) is insane when people are already above 80 corruption resistance, and it's still going up by 3 every week. This is especially daunting now that there's a corruption vendor - all of these corruptions are taunting us since we can't we don't have the resistance to wear them. This is probably one of the most alt unfriendly power systems I've ever seen in WoW.
Please Blizzard, allow us to repeat visions, or get corruption upgrades from assaults. Make it a bit less painful for us. Please.
LOWER QUARTERS. 11.000 viewers.
Seriously, what does it take for blizzard to take a fucking second and think: "Hey people actually like this arena thing" ??
I can't farm my own herbs in Nazjatar anymore because of the trains of 9-10 druids swooping down and immediately depleting every herb. Many of these people are doing this for 10-14 hours a day.
Its ridiculous, either something needs to be done about the multiboxers OR zin'anthid needs to be hotfixed so that the patches wont get depleted so quickly, the only time there are plentiful herbs spawn is 3 am local time, which I can't make use because its so late.
Just saw this on the facebooks - an interesting take on how to stockpile food and essentials. All I saw in my local Costco was people ransacking the frozen and perishable food sections, plus TP and paper towels.
>All joking aside, I grew up in a war zone so while everyone was panicking buying all the freezer stuff at walmart yesterday I was grabbing the supplies that worked for us during the war. Halfway down the canned food isle I was grabbing a few cans of tuna, corned beef, Vienna wieners, and spam a guy bumps me with his cart, he looked like he was new to the country so I thought Syrian or afghani, looks at my cart then looks at me and says in Arabic. Replenishing? I said yup. He then laughs and said with a wave of his hand they're doing it all wrong. I started laughing and he said I guess you experienced it too. I said yup. I told him I'm always prepared for disaster just in case. He laughed and said if it's not one thing it's another it can't hurt. To put it into perspectiv... keep reading on reddit ➡
RNG vendors. Island expedition crates on a weekly rotation, but most of all, corruption vendors on a biweekly rotation cycling through 64? some possible corruption effects with only 6 being available. This means at minimum it could take 2 1/2 months for us to find the corruption were looking for. WHAT?
They keep talking about reducing RNG but then they go off and make the vendors RNG? I hope this stops with 8.3. If they keep this crap up expect to see the PvP vendor cycling through armor. This is such an asinine way to keep people subscribed.
Look at this above list and ask yourself if any of these can be balanced. There is absolutely no way this system can be balanced and I am writing this just as an example for warriors:
From the Lists (just keep in mind this is only 3 of the 4 and already I can see how absolutely impossible this can be balanced)
Spear of Bastion
Throw a Kyrian spear at the target location, dealing Arcane damage instantly, dealing additional damage over time, and generating Rage.
Enemies hit are tethered to Spear of Bastion's location for the duration.
This will be useful in PVP more than anything else. Baring it's tether ability being overrun by a player's movement this would be one of the most useful PVP talents I could think of to grab those pesky caster... keep reading on reddit ➡
Come on. Add some of the subscription money to hire some GMs for ingame checks and ban this plague.
Bobby Kotick (ActiBlizz CEO) gave a heads-up on a big 2000 employee recruitment push via Twitter: "It takes heroes to make heroes".
Heroes of the Storm's Orphea is pictured alongside a fairly select ensemble presumably aiming to represent core franchises, including Tracer, Sylvanas, the Innkeeper, and others.
A positive sign!
If any of you have done a lot of WSG recently you'll know what I mean when I say that people exploit it with no punishment. Specifically, someone who I've seen exploit in WSG on multiple occasions is Wonderdruid on Herod. He constantly gets out of bounds and takes the horde flag behind the alliance base waiting for the alliance flag to be dropped so he can turn in the horde flag. There are many screenshots and videos of him doing this, 100s of people who've said they've reported him and yet he is not banned and continues to exploit WSG, ruining the experience for everyone else in the game. By not banning him Blizzard is sending the message that they do not care about people abusing exploits in PvP which completely break the game. Blizzard needs to take care of this immediately and ban him, or people will realize that Blizzard condones cheating and it will become more common place. If you see Wonderdruid in your WSG report him and AFK out.
Do any of you have stories about Wonderdruid o... keep reading on reddit ➡
For example, Demon Hunters get fury/pain whenever they interrupt. Why not make this baselines for ALL classes?
People will interrupt more
I was leveling an alt this past week and I've noticed a really crappy trend as of late with Demon Hunters that are queuing in dungeon finder as tanks but switch to Havoc spec when they get in. It's leading to a very poor experience for the rest of the group especially as a healer because their health yoyos, they can't hold aggro, and they're racing around the dungeon pulling non stop leaving everyone behind.
I know the game already switches a player's spec when they get into a dungeon based on the role but please make it so that when in the dungeon - specifically only when using the dungeon finder tool - everyone's spec is hard locked to their role. Maybe have a short circuit that if a tank leaves and another player in the dungeon has a tank spec they can switch specs but for the rest their stuck. Now if a group goes into a dungeon without the dungeon finder tool that's fine, let them go in with silly specs I don't care everyone's in on it.
I've had at least 4 dungeon runs now at thi... keep reading on reddit ➡
A couple months ago, my account, as well as my husbands account were both banned for "Third Party Software". After multiple appeals and the canned responses, we finally just gave up. I included detailed information about my account activity - My only active character rarely ever used the AH, did virtually zero open world farming, and played maybe one BG over the life of my Classic career - none of this made any difference to Blizzard Support. I've seen what I think is a rather ridiculous trend of ban posts on this subreddit, which are then reviewed, and overturned. I've included some examples here:
When heroes kill specific other heroes, they'll sometimes have unique kill quotes as opposed to their generic ones. But I think Blizzard has the % chance of this happening turned way down, because I hardly ever hear them in-game. I went into try mode as Alarak and killed Zagaras and Fenixes 25 times and only got it to happen twice. I think it could add a lot more flavor if we heard them more.
Also, while I'm on the subject, what happened to missing ping quotes? They went missing a long time ago and never came back.
I went to Dairy Queen with my cousin, got a Reese’s peanut butter cup blizzard, and ate the whole thing!!
I didn’t even acknowledge the calories, I just ate it and enjoyed it very much.
Simple question - can you actually get a permban from Blizzard for trolling / griefing, being generally toxic?
I played today a quick match and I got matched with a guy named something like 'If you feed I'm AFK'. He just sent an arrow to his nickname and literally after first accidental death of our Tracer, he just stopped to play, swearing and offending everyone, saying he is gonna watch our as*es losing this match, calling everyone fat d****.
We were trying hard to win, but the guy was just moving from base to towers, hitting ocassionally minions and walking in the base for another 3-5 minutes, insulting everyone.
Now I'm wondering - can you get really a perm ban from Blizzard for bad behaviour and unfair behaviour?
I came back to play after a year break and looking at the amount of leavers, toxic players I feel like Blizzard abandoned this game and it's community...
I am deeply hoping this message will be seen by Blizz, so they actually do something about that, so thanks f... keep reading on reddit ➡
