I have a preschool class where many of the students communicate using signs/icons. I would like to provide each student with those durable plastic boards that have Velcro attached to them so I can put on picture icons. I don’t mind putting the Velcro on myself, but I don’t even know what to search online for those boards.
I've gone through a lot of the tutorial and beginner info, but most of that seems to be for binding traditional books. But I'm wanting to make a customized binder (for my D&D sheets because I'm a nerd) and I can't find a lot of information other than "you need chip/gray board" and a few places that can supply them.
I found some 30-ply chip board from DickBlick, but I'm not sure how thick that is or how it compares to typical binders used for school or office work.
If anybody could offer any potential insight to someone that's a total newbie here, I'd really appreciate it! <3

I bag & board mine and store them in sheet protectors in binders. I think I'm a little odd for this, though.
What brand of bags & boards do you guys prefer? What are your storage methods?
Great for students that don't want to carry around scratch paper or to just jot down reminders for class (midterms, quizzes, breaks, etc.)
Edit: I meant to say notebook instead of binder.
