Intranasal people: Anyone found better relief with frequent (daily, every-other-day) dosing rather than infrequent (bi-weekly, weekly)? (I'm worried about urinary tract / bladder problems with daily use.)

I've read about every thread in this sub regarding compounded ketamine taken intranasally. Doctors' dosages and dose-scheduling seem to be completely random. Some borrow the pain protocol (multiple times a day), some do 40-60mg daily, some do that every other day, some do that twice a week or once a week, and some prescribe more---80, 100, and up---more with similarly random scheduling.

I think taking it every day sounds like a risk for building tolerance and inviting the urinary/bladder side effects. Even with Spravato---84mg of only esketamine twice a week for four weeks, then once a week---resulted in "a higher rate of lower urinary tract symptoms (pollakiuria, dysuria, micturition urgency, nocturia, and cystitis)" versus placebo.

The only intranasal studies we have are the 2014 Lapidus et al. study with 18 people and the Spravato studies. The 2014 study did two treatments, 50mg a treatment, separated by seven days. And Spravato, of course, is mostly once a week.

So, I'm curious if anyone has found better relief with daily use. If not, it seems less risky to me to do once or twice a week. I'm really worried about the urinary/bladder problem.

[5e preferably][CST][Online][18+] Player looking for a role play heavy bi-weekly/weekly group

Hey, looking for some bi-weekly/weekly games, preferably one that everyone is more interested in the role play aspect. My schedule with my job is pretty hectic during the weekdays so I'll typically only have weekends off to play. Don't have too much D&d experience, I've only taken part in a few campaigns so far. I've got a discord account, but if you want to use any other platform for running a campaign I'm fine with that also, just let me know!

[LFM][5E] Need 1, maybe 2, For bi-Weekly/weekly sessions. 8pm EST to 11pm on Tuesdays.

Hopefully I tagged this correctly this time.

Hello everyone. I've lost 2 of the 5 of my original group started about a year ago now, of which I was a DM fresh out of DM school. We are about to finish our current arc and decide where to go from there (possibly errata some background/start new characters and head to Matt Mercer's Tal'Dorei). I'm looking for at least one replacement. Some quick requirements:

  • A functional microphone and Discord.
  • Roll20 of course.
  • Non-evil character in mind

Some quick notes on myself:

  • My NPC's suck but I want to work on that with this reboot
  • I don't do voices, but I try to make up for it in other ways
  • I'm down for some 3rd party stuff as long as it doesn't seem entirely broken
  • I have a few houserules/adopted rules
PS: Another member of our group is running sessions between my bi-weekly sessions, so it works out to be almost weekly. My current arc will end this coming tuesday, one way or another, and I look to be booted back up late august or after Labor Day.

Theme of the Week poll - Weekly or Bi-Weekly?

Good afternoon everyone! Before I change this week's TOTW I just want to ask your opinion on something.

Should TOTW be weekly or bi-weekly?

Weekly allows for more frequent ideas to be explored, but can also lead to a burnout of ideas.

Bi-weekly gives more opportunity to explore themes in depth, but runs the risk of people losing interest.

What do you think?

How to identify bi-weekly vs semi-monthly payroll based off date entries

Hey Reddit,

Im having a rough time figuring out this problem. I was tasked with identifying payroll frequency, based on paystub dates. The user will enter in 4 dates (4 most recent paystub dates), and i need to identify if these pay dates are on a semi-monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, monthly, or annual pay frequency. I can identify the weekly, monthly and annually by using the variance between the days, but im having a hard time differentiating bi-weekly and semi-monthly.

Example dates im using to solve:

2/1/2019

2/15/2019

3/1/2019

3/15/2019

the variance between these dates is 14 days (thanks feb...), so i dont know of any other way to identify.

any help would be appreciated. Please lmk if i need to include more detail on this

Bi-Weekly Questions Thread [Edition #56] - ReDream(?) Edition

Welcome to the r/vitahacks Bi-Weekly Question thread!

Please post all questions here instead of starting a new thread in the main board. THIS WILL BE ENFORCED

3.69-3.73 USERS: It is HIGHLY Recommended that you downgrade to 3.68 or lower. Plugin/Application support for 3.69+ is POOR. Other than h-encore^2/Modoru2.0 downgrade, DO NOT EXPECT SUPPORT for plugins/Applications running on 3.69+

Before you post a question please note:

-The vita hacking guide covers everything from 'what is homebrew' to hacking the vita and installing essential plugins

-For a comprehensive database of all available vita homebrew, please refer to VitaDB, or use the much improved VHBB application to download homebrew directly to your vita (VHBB is not currently supported)

-Rule #1 - "No discussion of piracy/backup/warez/dumps" is strictly enforced; there are other resources to discuss this subject matter

3.71 / 3.72 / 3.73 Users:

- h-encore^2 is here. Installation instructions can be found on The FloW's Github page here

-The 3.71 update broke Modoru (added checks in lv0). DO NOT use Modoru to downgrade from 3.71/3.72/3.73. You will softbrick your console. The softbrick will require you to restore your system with a PUP file from safe mode

-SKGleba has released 'Modoru 2.1' that will allow you to downgrade from 3.71/3.72/3.73.

3.69 / 3.70 Users:

-h-encore^2 replaces Trinity

-3.69/3.70 users can still safely downgrade with Modoru

Firmware Guide:

Vita Firmware Version Available Hack(s)
1.03-3.57 Update to *3.60 or 3.65
3.60 *3.60 Henkaku/Enso
3.61-3.63 Update to 3.65

3.69-3.70 h-encore**^(2) (with Modoru for downgrade)

Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #101: War

#LAST WEEK'S THEME: CLASH OF THE UPDATES

#Gold

gpg9000

An absolutely stunning build depicting marine wildlife and the update aquatic. I loved how, although it was upscaled and you didn't use the actual mobs from update aquatic (as in you didn't spawn in fish), I could immediately tell you were trying to make those types of fish. Although they might be a little different, they were close enough that I knew exactly what you were trying to do. The landscape underwater was very well made and the hills in the background did well to fill in the rest of your build.

Stunning build, great job!

#Silver

ExtremelyAsianCactus

I loved the simplicity of these builds. I feel we have all come to expect large, grand builds with buttons everywhere and trapdoors, etc. And don't get me wrong, those builds are amazing. But, there's something charming and beautiful about a build which does none of those things and manages to look just as good. I feel you picked a perfect block for it too. Concrete/Terracotta is, in my opinion, the easiest to make the flat buildings with, possibly because they're so colourful. Small complaint with the build though. I feel you could have added more colour in it. You had a couple bland buildings with sandstone and white terracotta. I feel another concrete building would have just drilled i nthe colour update a little more.

Awesome build though!

#Bronze

Xypherians

Something about the first images threw me off, with the somewhat chaotic 1.4.2 update and the extremely large and (in my opinion) bare redstone update room. However, as soon as I hit the 1.6 update room and onward, I loved what you did. Any feedback I could have given you for those first rooms, it seems like you did them on the others. I love how the cart weaves in and out of the different features in each update. I also really liked the variation between rooms. None of them seemed like replicas of the others and had builds that reflected the update itself, which is what it should have been.

Great job!

Honourable mentions

For example, the Winchester Mansion, known for its stairways that ascend into walls, a closet about an inch deep, a β€œdoor to nowhere” that opens to empty space. Homes and spaces such as these evoke a lot of questions, one always being: What was the purpose? Most of these types of houses are local landmarks and have a distinctive theme or artistic look about them. While many of us are probably wondering just what the architects of these houses were thinking, it goes to show that there are many ways of thinking 'out of the box' about housing and that there are few limits to our creative abilities. Eccentric homes can be found all over the world and range from cave dwellings and tree houses to soccer-ball-shaped shelters, toilet-shaped homes, and portable domiciles. This weeks challenge i

Bi-Weekly Questions Thread [Edition #57] - 'HENlo' Edition

3.61-3.63 Update to 3.65
3.65 *3.65 H-encore/Enso or 3.65 H-encore then downgrade to 3.60
3.67-3.68 H-encore or H-encore then downgrade to 3.60/3.65
3.69-3.70 h-encore**^(2) (with Modoru for downgrade)
3.71-3.73 h-encore^2 (with Modoru 2 for downgrade) MUST USE MODORU 2.1

Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #100: Clash of the Updates

#LAST WEEK'S THEME: DUNGEON

#Gold

Clyran

I really love how big and epic this build felt, despite it not actually being a enormous build (compared to some monstrous stuff that is posted on the subreddit). So congrats on fulfilling your promise that your build would be "Mighty" as you put in the title. It certainly seems that way to me. I will say, at first, I didn't like the blackstone floors with the cobblestone, but the more I've looked at your build, the more I've really started to enjoy it. It also gave a bit more variety, making your dungeon more than just grey. On that note, the mushrooms also provided some nice colour and weirdness to the dungeon. Very well made!

Great build!

#Silver

Isa4635

I never realized how little I've seen of ice caves and how much I love them. I think for some of those first images with the ice in the caves, it's the best "simple" cave I've seen in a long time. Nothing too fancy, just some nice shapes, with ice here and there. Also, the inclusion of some man made supports, tables and chests filled out the rest of the space. The big thing I didn't like with the build was the last room. The throne was great! However the rest of the room seemed so flat and plain, with just stone brick walls going straight up with nothing else really.

Still a great build though!

#Bronze

Xypherians

The builds above were pretty simple while I found this build was a little too chaotic. Personally, I find there's a fine line between good block variation and bad block variation. With stone for example, I find you can can get away with block variation by using other very similar blocks like andesite and cobble stone. However, other times, people use some vastly different blocks and in those cases I find it's really hard to focus. This build is pretty much right between that line. Your fist image thankfully had a cool layout and the blocks weren't too chaotic. I loved the paths and traps down the caves. They weren't the most elaborate, but they still made the cave seem dangerous which was fine. The last photo went back to the chaotic blocks, however for me, it was only the abundance of magma blocks that made it hard for me to focus on what I was looking at. I think you could've kept them there, however I did find those blocks a li

Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #99: Dungeon

#LAST WEEK'S THEME: FLOWER VILLAGE

#Gold

Team_ElJay

We don't always say that bigger is better. The bigger someone builds something, the more they have to detail and make nice. This build is certainly big, but everything in it is well built and well planned out (at least it seems). I love how everything ties together. The houses with their own flower gardens feel connected because of the paths between them. If there wasn't a path, or there was too much room, it would feel like looking at multiple builds which aren't related. But the paths, the walls and the nature makes this feel like a village.

Great build!

#Silver

SkreeTheBuilder

I really loved this build and how it showed us what happens to each colour. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for small details in builds. The coral in the "barrels" using trapdoors was an excellent idea (I think others may have used it too, in which case I say good job!) and the hanging banners with their respective colours was another great touch. I also really liked those vats with water in the blue hut. Not sure if they were supposed to be water or dyed blue water, but either way, it worked really well!

Good job!

#Bronze

FoundationGames

I really loved the layout of this village. Mainly the cliffs actually. I've said this in the past and I'll repeat this again: I love nature builds. And for some reason, cliffs with drooping leaves never fail to impress me. Remember, there are more judges, so this isn't a cheat code for builds, however as I usually write these up, I will always give a good review to some cliffs and drooping leaves :).

Okay where was I?

The flower farm in front of the cliff was a fantastic way to fill in that gap and I really liked how you curved the flowers. Made it more interesting but it wasn't chaotic in a way that I wouldn't think it was a farm. For your dye factory, I personally didn't like the exterior that much, though I understand why you chose bricks since I immediately knew it was a factory. I did however love the interior of it.

Good build!!

Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #98: Flower village

#LAST WEEK'S THEME: CONVENTION

#Gold

Mr_Psyda

Really loved the shape of this convention center. It's "easy" to build a square structure and add some detail. Easy as in, you can most likely get away with it if you've had a little experience building. While it may not look the greatest, it will almost definitely look passable. However, to use a shape like this requires even more skill, in order for it to look somewhat natural but also look nice at the same time. And you 100% did that here.

Fantastic job!

#Silver

Ds8100

Another cool shape, not as intricate and weird as first place, but still not a box! What really made this build stand out was the interior design. I always find that it's hard to make a large interior section without parts feeling bare or repetitive. Your large convention area was neat to look at because it was full, but also because you chose different colours for different parts, breaking it up. While there's still some areas a little bare, my eyes don't go to them immediately because of those colours (which draw my eyes away) and those parts are also well built, so congrats on that!

Good job!

#Bronze

Evan-McMinecraft

First off, this build did something we all like: scenery outside of it. Now, although this is just a normal world, I'll take that any day over a superflat world, mainly because it just looks like it belongs more. Now, to the build, I really liked what you did, even if it was a little smaller than I would have expected. I liked your colour palette. For some reason, granite worked really well here (at least to me) which I wouldn't have expected, and dark prismarine was a good block to use for some contrast. Finally, while your interior didn't have too much, I did like the boots everywhere which tied into sock convention. Was an easy and effective way of showing us what your convention was about.

Good job!

If you are looking for which brokerage to use, which fund house is more capable and trustworthy, which investing platform to use, which insurance company is reliable etc., you may want to read the reviews for banking and financial services, mutual funds and asset management services, brokerage products and services, and insurance products and services. Generally speaking, there is no best company, or fund, or bank. Answers are always subjective to your personal needs, but those threads a starting point for you to look at what other Redditors have to say about a company, product or service. You, may then ask a more specific question about what product or service to buy, once you are able to frame your personal situation.

NOTE If your question is "I have 10,000 rupees, what do I do?" or anything similar. There is no single answer to this question, but we will also need A LOT MORE information if we are to give some sort of answer

  • How old are you?
  • Are you employed/making income?
  • How much? What are your objectives with this money?
  • What is your risk tolerance? (Do you mind risking it at blackjack or do you need to know its 100% safe?)
  • What are you current holdings? (Do you already have exposure to specific funds and sectors?)
  • Any other assets? House paid off? Cars? Expensive partner?

The Estates-General Convention of July 01, 2020 | Bi-weekly questions and answers thread

Please use this thread to ask and answer questions that do not require a full post to ask or explain. This saves space as well as order in the subreddit. For other players, please check in here occasionally and try to answer any upcoming questions.

Appropriate comments here are things like gameplay, release and mechanics questions, submodding help, installation issues and similar things.

Things that are better off in their own separate post are for example discussions about mod design, bugs, tutorials, AARs, full submods, news and generally things that should be seen and commented on by many others.
