Add olive oil and chopped onions to an instant pot or pressure cooker. Turn on sauté mode and sauté for around 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients (except full-fat coconut milk and cilantro) to your instant pot or pressure cooker. Pressure cook on high for 15 minutes. Let natural release for 10 minutes then release the pressure manually.
Using two forks, shred beef in the instant pot/pressure cooker. Add coconut milk and stir to combine. For a less spicy soup, add more coconut milk.
Garnish with cilantro and enjoy!
*Note: To make this in your slow cooker, add all ingredients (except c... keep reading on reddit ➡
Nothing beats homemade meatballs smothered in creamy gravy sauce. The blend of flavors creates an intoxicating recipe that can only be described by tasting it.
Prepare meatballs by combining seasonings, pork rind crumbs, almond flour, and grated parmesan. Slowly add in a little of the whisked egg. I did not use all of it. Just enough to bind everything together, if it's too wet they don't roll well. Roll to desired size and place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Edit: Had a few people suggesting that this is fake for karma. Unfortunately, this is a genuine conversation I overheard in my city. Hull.
I’m fairly new to Reddit, been browsing for a while but not active, and I’m still unsure as to what karma is and why it’s useful.
Am I crazy, or are they kinda weird? I mean it looks cool, for sure. No doubt about that. But why would you want to wrap a filet in a thin layer of pastry?
Sorry - had this pent up for awhile. Just needed to tell someone.
It seems slow cookers were made for beef stew, so we couldn’t create a list without this all-time favorite in it. The magic comes in the time it takes to cook the meat, as it softens with each hour that goes by. There are so many different varieties of beef stew, so feel free to play around with the vegetables, but the following recipe is a classic.
What You Need
What You Do
Place the meat in the slow cooker first. Then mix... keep reading on reddit ➡
The way I would do it is a few methods. First I would cure as much of it as possible by turning it into biltong. This requires storing quite a bit of salt a head of time. But essentially you would cut the beef into 1 inch thick slabs, dip it in vinegar, then coat it liberally with salt black pepper and coriander. Then I would hang it up in my garage using either hooks or loops of cooking twine to hang it from a line. This allows it to cure and dry and ensures that it last indefinitely.
I would also pressure can all of the ground beef that I have.
The other option for ground beef is to make hamburger rocks which is where you cook the beef and then wash the crumbles to get rid of the fat and then dehydrate them.
Obviously the other options would be to make jerky or to smoke a lot of the meat as well.
This is how I would tackle this problem what would y'all do to preserve few hundred pounds of meat without electricity?
So basically I'm doing this new project, the beef nugget. It's done, but it needs to be buyer by people.
Giannis talked about Harden at the All Star break and now Harden clapped back. I hope this is a start of a rivalry between two extremely talented players
Lots of fat and protein. And potatoes are complex carbs.
Desalinate, Pressure cook, Season, broil, sandwich.
Reporter: Have you had a chance to go on Twitter and take a look at what Kevin and Kendrick have been going back and forth about?
Adams: "I'd seen something pop up in the feed. They were kinda bickering back and forth, yeah?"
Reporter: I'd say that's a good description.
Adams: "Ah, you know how it is, mate. They're both a bit bored, aye? They're not doing much, so they're probably just bored, mate. But it's entertaining for you guys I bet, yeah? You guys getting a little kick out of it?"
Reporter: It's interesting.
Adams: "I wouldn't say it's interesting. It's just some bickering. What's interesting is the political stuff. American politics. That's interesting. Not just two players bickering."
The recipe is pretty simple:
Put the corned beef brisket (I used a 4 lb flat cut red this time) in the insert fat side up. sprinkle the spice packet over the top
Add more peppercorns, mustard seed, bay leaves, celery seed (the amount is up to you)
Cover the beef with 6 cups of liquid. - this can be 50/50 broth / water, all water, or all broth.
*edit: as many have suggested (and I should have thought of) use beer for your liquid - preferably Guinness*
Manual - High Pressure - 60 Minutes - natural release (or if you're impatient, Quick Release - I don't think it really matters)
If you wanna do cabbage & veggies too:
remove corned beef and wrap in foil
strain liquid to remove large chunks and fat
place carrots, potatoes in liner, cover with strained liquid place cabbage on top
Manual High pressure 10 mins
Serve veggies with corned beef.
Another option if you like your cabbage kinda crunchy is leave it out of the veggie cooking step 2 and stir it in on... keep reading on reddit ➡
Been going to a local restaurant that offers vegetarian poutine. When I found out about this place, I loved it since poutine is usually served with a beef gravy. I’ve had it a few times and couldn’t be happier, especially since it’s listed in the vegetarian portion of their menu.
...found out today that you have to request the vegetarian/vegan gravy option. When I heard that, I lost my shit. Went off and spoke with the manager/owner. He said “you didn’t eat it, right?” He said they offer both a beef and vegetarian option but I pointed out that the poutine option I order is on the vegetarian menu. There’s no way it could be confused with some other meat option, it’s clearly marked as vegetarian.
I’m so annoyed because the people I’m with at dinner don’t care, they’re not vegetarian. The owner didn’t seem to understand the issue and I’m left annoyed, a bit speechless and shocked. He said they would update the menu and I plan to follow up to make sure they do but damn if I’m not just pi... keep reading on reddit ➡
That's the long & the short of it. If it's in any way helpful, what follows are some details about my life.
TL;DR version: I'm a trans woman who seeks to minimize conflict in my life, and I'm genuinely curious - if I kept living my life the way I do now, except stop calling myself "Miss Theremin" when I introduce myself to people... would we have no further problems? Like, if I just went back to "gender-nonconforming male," would it really all be OK between us?
EDIT 2/26: I'm still working through the responses. I'm trying to get back to everyone. I thank you all for your time in expressing your opinions, especially those who decided to read all of the following and tailor your response accordingly. I want to say: I spent most of the last two weeks discussing GC/trans issues on Twitter, and it made me question my position. I made this post because I need to change my manner of online engagement. To be frank: I've been wrong. I'm trying to be less wrong.... keep reading on reddit ➡
