I was commenting about my daughter in one of the toddler posts here, which reminded me that I had something else from her to post.
A bit of back story: Ever since she was a baby she found it hilarious to annoy my wife until she blows up, no matter the consequences for her. She got a bit tamer (fortunately), but still likes annoying her. She's now 4, and found there are a lot of more subtle ways to the entertainment she's after.
Few weeks back she was doing iron beads on a horse plate. My wife placed one bead as eye on the half finished horse, which my daughter removed. They then had an argument if that horse needs to have an eye, which my daughter pretty much ended by saying "it doesn't matter if it's really there or not, just use your damn imagination", followed by a lengthy rant about how mommy lacks imagination after she left the room.
Few days ago she made another horse. This one. She told me "Mommy wanted an eye. This pink bead is the eye", with that "that'll be good in a moment" smile.
When mom came back she proudly showed off the horse, and the eye. Which lead to the inevitable discussion about the location of the eye. Which she ended with "It's a magic horse, from a magic forest. Magic horses have their eyes up there. You should know what you're talking about before you complain".
