READ THE POST RATHER THAN COMMENTING BASED ON AN UNEDITABLE TITLE
So I was curious about just how long it would take to hit level 50 on the battle pass so I decided to do the math out. It's all documented on this excel sheet. It includes fields for how many games you play per week and what percentage of missions you complete among other variables. It can predict based on how many games you play what tier of the battle pass you will get.
Important Note: “...The battlepass will take ~100 hours to complete. Weekly XP's also scale up in every week to smooth out the experience curves. Just to give you an idea, the first set of weeklies offer 28,350 total XP and the last set of weeklies offer 60,750 total XP...” -Riot dev below .
This post and the calculator have been edited to account for the new info from Riot. Overall, with all the known sources of xp, it comes out to 138 hours through the calc... keep reading on reddit ➡
My wife just got into Fallout this past year and, even though she called them Merklurks and Yogi Bears, I was ecstatic that she took an interest in and enjoyed the games she played through.
She’d been battling mental illness her whole life and this week she decided to take her own life. As hurt as I am and filled with regret and wishes for how I could change things, I know that in her mind it was the only way out and I could never know what that feels like.
I’m just happy to have gotten the chance to be with her for as long as I did, and hopefully suppress the pain she was dealing with inside for a time.
So kill a merklurk or a yogi bear for my girl.
We've read feedback from the community that leveling feels harder this year. We looked into how things compare so far to last year. For battle pass players of all levels, on average players have earned 1.95% more free levels than last year. If we consider only players who after a week were below level 200, on average they have earned 7.91% more free levels than last year. However, we recognize that players still feel that they wish playing granted more, so we have a few changes included in this update:
All these changes are effective as of this update. For sideshop gold earned through previous recycles, we will be granting the extra gold over the next few hours.
We’re back for a Transmission and that means it’s time for another update. The Age of Rebellion is still upon us, headlined by the return of Scarif in Supremacy, Co-Op and Instant Action.
The update releases on April 29 and we’ve got a lot to talk about, so let’s dive in with the details.
The list of Supremacy planets for the Age of Rebellion is spearheaded by the return of Scarif, a planet we know you’re incredibly excited to venture back to. Joining Scarif will also be a series of iconic Age of Rebellion locations; Hoth, Death Star II, Tatooine, and Yavin 4.
Each of these locations will also be arrivi... keep reading on reddit ➡
The game will come to Xbox one and then later to PC.
This is the "First" Battle Royal but it failed horribly and was taken down. Now they want to "revive" the game and bring it to Xbox One First.
This game will cost $5.99 at launch.... You get 1 FREE ROUND A DAY thats it! After that you need to pay $1USD per match or win to play again for that day.
This is a warning and if you are fine with this type of monetization then feel free but it sounds like a rip off
I'm not talking about underdogs here, there are plenty of examples of underdogs (who usually win because of superior strategy), I'm talking about battles where one side clearly should have won and it's nearly unbelievable that they didn't. I'm also not looking for examples of the Empty Fort Strategy, because that is actual good strategy in some circumstances. I'm purely looking for examples of dumb luck or seeming divine intervention.
Edit: Sorry if my responses take a while, it takes some time to look into the replies if some context/explanation isn't included.
Edit2: So, I've realized that this question is very difficult to answer because armies very rarely win on dumb luck, and if they do, they probably lie about what happened to look like it was their plan all along to look good historically. I'm still enjoying all the battle stories though.
I’m tier 23 I’m the battle pass and I already have 100 radianite points which is cool but there is literally nothing to spend them on unless you spend $100 on the bundle. It’s seems a little dumb to have the radianite points in the pass when you can’t use them on other skins that you can get from the pass. I’m happy to buy the battle pass because it’s a free game so it makes sense to make players pay for the pass but there is no way I’m spending $100 on the bundle and I think most people don’t want to buy the expensive bundle either. If this is the way it’s going to be in a few months people like me are just going to have heaps of radianite and you can’t even use it.
If you were able to time travel and observe (invisible and untouchable) any historical battle, which would it be and why ? Let's keep it simple and say it was a battle that was concluded more or less in one day. A siege or a prolonged conflict such as Stalingrad doesn't really work. For me it would maybe be Cannae for the scale of the battle and the tactics employed by Hannibal. Also, as brutal as it must have been, I would like to see how the legions fought on when they realised they were surrounded and a rout or escape was not possible. Men fighting to the death like that must have provoked fierce and desperate combat. Second place maybe Bannockburn (as I'm Scottish) and because of the outmatched smaller Scottish army beating the larger and better armed force using terrain and strong leadership to triumph.
So Battle of Leipzig was super battle. 4 most powerful land powers of Europe brought their A game to Leipzig, Allied Russia and Austria each had more then 100 000 soldiers and Prussia 90 000 soldiers and they faced French who had 170 000 men.
It was epic scale battle that lasted 4 days with all combatants suffering massive casualties. In the end French were forced to retreat while losing more then 70 000 casualties, for reference French suffered same amount of casualties at Leipzig as size of their entire army at Waterloo.
It was game over for Napoleon, Allies chased him to France and forced him to abdicate.
But when talking about Napoleonic wars this battle always seems overshadowed by likes of Waterloo, Austerlitz, Borodino and even Marengo (that was tiny battle for example when compared with Leipzig).
Now i understand that dominance of English language makes much easier for Waterloo getting such spotlight but even in countries tha... keep reading on reddit ➡
Already put a longer post of this on Twitter, with my usual post of wanting Raptor Cloak back. But let's be honest, Why is Conqueror Litterally fulfilling the Goal of these 2 old runes?!!?Why it being used by Assassins, Junglers and a lot of Mages?Because it does too much, You stack dmg, adaptively AND Heal... Just pick one, you can't have both.
Balance wise, atleast if the new Warlords proc condition or numbers is too high, You can nerf and make it harder to proc or lower the healing amount etc.
Same sht with Fervor of Battle, Lower it's uptime so it expires sooner, or the amount of stacks, or have it's individual stacks give less stats, but once you proc it or stay in battle for a while it gives something decent.
You can even make Warlord only be proc-able through Spells or Autos, same with Fervor.Or make Warlord be Omnivamp then change... keep reading on reddit ➡
Now, I have a 1600 battle pass and this post isn't about the arcanas or anything like that. It's about how the battle pass has impacted games in previous years vs this one.
In previous years, battle pass season was fun. Cosmetics aside, most people had access to great voice lines, more wager tokens, tips, etc. So the games felt a lot more alive than they do now. Now, barely anyone has access to interesting voice lines. All most people get are "Moo" "Yehaaw" and those silly ones, which aren't all that great, imo. Yes, Lakaad Matatag was annoying after a while, but it was also fun, and made for great moments in TI and pub games alike. I rarely see any voice lines being used, and sometimes it's like it's not even battle pass season. In previous years, you KNEW it was battle pass season and it was fun, because it was different. Locking the fun ones behind a huge paywall isn't OK. Do you think someone just buys the battle pass for seasonal effects or voice lines? No, they do i... keep reading on reddit ➡
Anyone else wish we could have a game that was from start to finish only double battles like Colosseum or gale of darkness. I always enjoyed playing those due to the extra little strategy of double battles and even in online play there is much more strategic options besides just type advantage.
