The only reason to nerf Dinhs or black d'hide is to make kills on people who don't even want to be in the wilderness in the first place, easier. How is that healthy for reviving PVP? It's just creating a bigger divide between PVP and PVM.
Good job Jagex.
Heist's design philosophy has been a little iffy imo from it's very conception (After all the entire base concept of the league is now 'dead, it's not a thing anymore' as the developers put it.) but it's implementation into the main game feels almost purposefully constructed by the developers to infuriate anyone who interacts with it.
The rogue harbor is once again a mess of MTX and particle effects because it's been turned into a multiplayer town again, this coupled with the new texture streaming means you'll drop to 20 fps randomly even while starting up contracts or emptying out your inventory.
The leveling, Oh god the leveling. Most high level contracts require several levels of investment from the rogues, which means that you'll have to drop back down to doing ilvl 68 content to level them. And because you're working with level 1 rogues who probably have no gear, doors as a result take eons to open, with it being completely normal to spend up to a minute after every lock down just waiting for your rogue to open 3 consecutive doors.
NPC's still get stuck fighting crap, despite being given orders to unlock doors or disarm traps. I can't express just how infuriating this 'gameplay experience' is to have to run back 2 rooms and clear it each and every time you want your rogue to open a door.
This wouldn't be so bad, after all GGG prides themselves on allowing the playerbase to play the game however they'd like, and have implemented several of their other league mechanics into each other in order to give the playerbase a greater freedom to play the game how they'd like.
You don't need to do delves in order to get fossils, just like you don't need to do breaches or legions to get splinters. There are certain facets of those mechanics (usually boss fights) that require a level of interaction with the mechanic in order to get their drops, but no mechanic forces you to interact with it to gain it's generic rewards.
However heist is different, heist is special after all. All anomalous gems, alternate uniques, and trinkets/rogue gear have been HARD LOCKED behind heisting. You cannot get any of these from any other mechanic.
This really does seem like a developer, or maybe several at GGG saw the insane amount of backlash heist got, and worked specifically to force the playerbase to not only interact with their beloved heist mechanic, but to make their experience as miserable as possible every step of the way.
Per Nick Baumgardner Source tells The Athletic Michigan and Jim Harbaugh are close to finalizing a five-year deal -- expected base salary is $4 million. With incentives, he could get it back to $8 million. Buyout is expected to be low.
Harbaugh hasn't signed. Is expected to soon.
As convenient as it is, I think these kind of comments are just scapegoating another player base that they've generalised and do not/can not respond. This is not unlike Western K-pop fans blaming their Korean counterparts for toxicity in idol culture.
Apparently, because they can't understand Chinese opinions further, it's okay to pin the blame on them, because they've created a hypothetical scenario where they stand on the moral high ground.
What's worse is that they don't acknowledge that other regions (yes, even yours) could have similar preferences. For example, Lunar New Year skins continue to be rolled out but Christmas skins haven't but it's not like Riot haven't put out the statistics to back up
their business decisions the idea that even NA prefers using other skins over Christmas skins.
I realise that Riot did very little, if anything, this year for Christmas specifically. They didn't even announce the skins were on sale. But it becomes a gimmick if people just want a Christmas skins for the sake of having them around. If you do enjoy Christmas skins, I suggest supporting the many artists out there who have the most creative designs.
Is this borderline racist? Probably not, none of the comments really have harmful intentions. But it does read like bullying. Something hasn't gone your way, you don't want the responsibility, there is someone you can dump the blame on, they can't fight back - it's just the easiest solution. Please stop.
Edit: tldr; Some of these comments have shaped my thoughts better. Don't be mad at China for having preferences that do not reflect your own. Complain to Riot, not about China.
Edit 2: Side question: Why is it that China is always on the "bad guys" side (edit 3: in terms of League)? Why can other East Asian influenced skins Spirit Blossom (Japanese) and K/DA (Korean) have such positive response but when it comes to Lunar Revel or Immortal Journeys, it always comes off as just the token skin line that appeals to Chinese fans?
A commonly propagated myth is that characters use the same base model for specific sex and size categories. E.g. tall females like Jean and Ningguang would share the same basis, as would small females like Diona, Klee and Qiqi. Keqing and Barbara would supposedly have the same butt, and so forth. Considering the persistance of this myth I decided to do a simple comparison of the model files in Blender.
The character models were downloaded from official sites. Many but not all character models were acquired this way (due to models not all offered in one single hub, MiHoYo please fix and send apologems). An MMD importer addon was used to import the .pmx files in Blender.
Characters were distributed into several groups based on preliminary sex and height sorting. Male tall: Diluc, Kaeya, Tartaglia. Male medium: Aether, Venti. Female tall: Lisa, Jean, Ningguang. Female medium: Amber, Barbara, Fischl, Keqing, Lumine, Mona, Xiangling, Xinyan. Female small: Diona, Klee, Qiqi.
Obscuring elements were removed to improve visibility of body morphology. Naturally, all clothes are character-specific, as are the associated animation skeletons. As such, these were not compared. Shading was set to flat instead of smooth to view polygons properly. Models were repositioned arbitrarily to compare certain points of interest.
Treat the following images as NSFW (chest and butt comparisons). Examples are not exhaustive but provide sufficient information to draw conclusions.
While accessoiries are usually separate mesh groups, most of the clothing elements are part of the character model rather than dressed up on top of a base model. Mesh groups of many elements perfectly align with other parts of the model despite the vertices not being connected to them, likely to prevent incorrect smooth shading of sharp edges in the game.

UPDATE: GIVEAWAY CLOSED. WINNERS HAVE BEEN DRAWN for both portions. Congratulations u/gooberpsycho for winning the Reddit portion! I will be reaching out to you shortly.
Hey keebers, It's me again. To celebrate my bday, I wanted to give back to the community since it's been a little over year since I joined the hobby and I've met a lot of good folks along the way so I'm paying it forward. Giveaways will be split into 2 portions, and are open to everyone, but international winners outside the US will pay their own shipping. US winners will have their shipping covered by me. REDDIT PORTION: Up for grabs here is my 1st keeb, an Aluminum Tada68 with Cherry blues soldered on an alu plate. I'm including a brand new alu plate that fits the case I bought last Oct from KBD Fans, but never got around to switching out! Winner just needs their own keycap set. I'm hoping this goes to someone new to the hobby that wants to try something other than a gaming mechanical keyboard :) Winner will be picked via Reddit Raffler and announced Monday, Jan 18 PST. DISCORD PORTION: Winners will be picked via K-2SO (Giveaway Bot) by end of today, Sunday, Jan 17 PST. Please note that you're only eligible to win 1 of the giveaways there.
