Does your butt touch the backrest of your chair?
Following ergonomic guides they say that the butt should be in contact with the backrest of the chair. I have a leap v2 and find the seat pan is uncomfortable if I sit far back into the seat. I also find that sitting far back makes my hips feel really tight and painful (this is probably a postural issue of mine).
I kind of look like the dude on the left in this image Assuming I don't have lower back pain from sitting this way, is it really a big deal?

Potty chair with/without backrest
Hi! I am just wondering other parentβs favorite potty stools/chairs for children under a year? My dude is 6 months and sits unassisted and had started pooping very regularly in the mornings. I want to try to sit him on a potty at that time instead of using diapers. I see that babybjorn has a potty with a backrest and one without a backrest. Any favorites or tips from those with experience? Thanks!

LPT: If you have to climb on a chair to reach for something, let the backrest face the wall.
If you lose balance standing on a chair you will make a step in that direction. Having the backrest behind you might seem safer, like a handrail. But most backrests are to low to actually help you. They will prevent you from making a step to regain your balance and worst case you will fall over the backrest. If the backrest faces the wall you can step off the chair in any direction.

If you're having issues with the strength of the neck pillow, tilt your backrest.
Title. I just got a shiny new Titan and LOVE IT, although I found the neck pillow to be super firm to the point of straining. Once I tilted the backrest slightly back during a long work session and let gravity do its thing, I found the pillow much more comfortable and the resistance quite pleasant. Thought I'd post here in case anyone else was having similar issues!

FOR SALE: 2 stools with backrests
2 dark brown IKEA stools with backrests for sale. Pictures here. $25 each or $45 for the pair. I originally paid $75 each, but it looks like they're going for $85 these days. 30" tall from floor to seat x 19" wide. Total height is 42". Light scuffing on a leg of each (can be seen in photos). The seat covers are admittedly dirty - you can try to bleach them or buy new cooler ones. (IKEA sells the seat covers separate from the stools.) Pick up in Dickinson Narrows neighborhood.
Edit: Price lowered

Assembly question: is the backrest supposed to be uneven after connecting it to the seat? Or can this be adjusted to be more straight?

Spent $500 on a chair, waited 3 months for it, and it doesn't even work right, asymmetrical with the backrest shifted to the left but it can't move right because of the slide-in bracket on the right. What a let down.

Tarta backrest
Hi guys, does anybody have a Tarta backrest? The company that will be making my wheelchair has this available and I think it looks super cool, so for now I have chosen this option. Those of you who have this, are you satisfied? Do you have a special design on the back?

Seat warmer works, but only on the base, not the backrest.
Both sections used to work, now only the butt part warms up, passenger seat is fine. could it be a fuse, or is it just the plug/wiring?

Fixing new Leap V2 Chair backrest lag
I received a new Leap chair from the Steelcase store for home a few days and noticed that compared to the ones at the office, the backrest lags behind when I try and lean forward. (Not my clips but same issue, basically does this when it should do this).
Some brief research reveals that this is a known issue with the Leap, but not much about any options to fix it. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this myself? Would the issue be covered under warranty, or is my only option to return the chair (no free shipping from Canada unfortunately) and try again? Will be reaching out to costumer support tomorrow but want to gauge my options first.

Iβve seen all the buzz about oanda having big spreads and tons of fees recently on this sub. Newbie here about to open a demo account and backrest/demo until I feel comfortable. From the US, broker suggestions?
Iβve read plenty of books lots of them from the recommendations from this sub. The art of currency trading, currency trading for dummies, trading psychology 2.0, Japanese candlestick charting techniques, and the master swing trader. I know reading and more reading doesnβt make you some master trader itβs like sports, you can watch all the film in the world but until you practice it enough yourself you will struggle lol. I just wanted to feel like I had adequate knowledge before hopping into a demo practically blind. Also any just general tips for me? Thank you

Aftermarket Backrest options T100
Hello, I purchase a new 2019 Bonneville T100 and I am looking for backrest options. The entire setup from Triumph is a bit pricey. The sissy bars at dankai look great but are not made for that. Any ideas?
