I've been looking for this bootleg for the Longest time and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'd prefer the proshot, but I'll take anything at this point. If you have this boot, or know anyone who does, please let me know!
I'm also open to general trades as well!
I love comedic musicals. Any suggestions? Are the older ones online anywhere, like in PBS Great Performances????? I saw Xanadu three times. Avenue Q twice, Book of Mormon once.
Avenue Q: The Musical - Original Broadway Cast Recording
Hello! I was recently traded an Avenue Q boot from 9.24.06 (Broadway). Unfortunately, the mega folder I was shared is missing the first part (VOB), the file is most likely entitled VTS_01_1.VOB. Would any kind person be willing to gift me this? I can also trade for it, if necessary. Please PM me if you have this part! Thank you so much!
(Sorry that the characters go out of frame so much)
Hey yall! I'm looking for the avenue q proshot listed above. I have a YouTube rip copy of this and im fiarly certain a higher quality of this exists. If anyone has it, please let me know :) i'd be happy to trade
Anyone have this tracks? Especially the transitions and underscore tracks. Tnks
Does anyone have a good quality boot of avenue q? I would prefer the OBC if possible. Thank you!
This or any other recordings with Rob McClure. Really only looking for videos not as interested in audios. I'll send you my list over PM if you have this show. Thanks!
Looking for this recording or any other Avenue Q performance with Rob McClure. If you have it let me know and we'll set up a trade! :)
Hello I am looking to trade for Avenue Q or Lion King West End or Broadway. If interested here is my list I have over 50 different bootlegs of high quality. Please don't send low-quality rips from youtube.
It has relatable themes and the first few songs are novel, but after that the songs are boring and forgettable
If you did, cool! I'd love to hear your thoughts about it.
If not, you should totally watch it, its a Broadway Musical about a guy who comes out of College thinking life could only go up-hill, but he soon learns that life is more difficult than he thought. Its a comedy, it talks about modern problems, but it has puppets (some people don't like puppets), and there is a "graphic" sex scene between said puppets... But I really enjoyed it. If you want to watch it, you can buy tickets for it, as it is still playing in some places, but you can also watch a shitty cam version of it on YouTube (like I did) if you don't want to spend money to see it.
Nothing against Avenue Q, it’s one of my favorite musicals and I would personally go see it over Wicked if I had to choose. What surprises me is that Wicked is a Broadway mainstay that had everything needed to win the Best Musical Tony from an memorable score, impressive set design, and huge star power from Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. I guess what I’m getting at is how surprising was it back in the day that a smaller scale show such as Avenue Q beat a large scale, theatrical force such as Wicked?
Hi guys. I'm looking for someone who knows more about Touhou than me (and believe me, I don't know that much) to help me with writing an Avenue Q-like Touhou skit for fun.
It's title is "Everyone is Gay in Gensokyo".
It's meant to be satirical, so it doesn't have to be completely accurate.
Here's a draft of the beginning:
Reimu puppet: So, Marisa, haven't you noticed there aren't many guys around?
Marisa puppet: What are you talking about, Reimu? There aren't men in Genskyo!
Remiu puppet: Um... why?
Marisa puppet: Why, because we're all gay!
Reimu: ...excuse me?
Marisa: Haven't you heard?
Everyone's a little bit lesbian
Everyone's a little bit queer
Today I'll give you a lesson
On why there are no men here.
Everyone here's into yuri
Like lillies that grow in the grass.
If we feel a bit
Lonely and shit
We go to someone - and tap dat ass!
Reimu: Even me?
Marisa: Well, you ever felt like sucking dick?
Reimu: ... no?
Marisa: Well then you're gay!
Reimu: Wait, what? No, you can't just say that! That's a sweeping generalisation!
Music back on
I'd like to add verses about the other characters, and maybe add some inside Touhou jokes. Can anyone suggest some additions?
I recently began thinking about this show again, but I found out that it had its last showing in May 2019. Is there somewhere I can still see it (preferably in NYC)?
So just found that Avenue Q is back! and i saw it a few years ago (thanks to an LSC post) and would really love to see it again
for those who dont know, its a musical, with the muppets, but about porn and getting a job.
but its only back for 1 week
and which days? https://hackneyempire.co.uk/whats-on/avenue-q/
Has anyone here seen the musical "Avenue Q"?
I am asking because I want to know if it's worth the money
The tickets cost £13 per person (with £3 booking fee which only applies once and not per ticket).
Also, I will be 16 when it's on and I am probably the most mature 16 year old you'll find so there's that just in case.
I fell asleep on the N train yesterday morning, missing my stop at Atlantic Avenue. As I was going back uptown at 36 St, I thought I saw a Q train leaving the station. Was this a sleepy hallucination, or do some Q trains run up 4th Avenue during rush hour?
That's all I can remember about this movie! I think there may be an instance of domestic violence at one point. It was playing on a plane very recently, but I can't remember anything else. Please help me out!
You all do not understand how sad I am that they closed the curtain for Avenue Q back in April 2019. What are they going to do with all the puppets?
I'm at work with some down time so I'm not watching anything atm but I was listening to the Avenue Q soundtrack. This is one of my favorite musicals. I've only seen it once and wish I got to see it again before it closed. "What do I do with a BA in English" makes me laugh every time I hear that song XD
u/moorenoodles - Thank you for the awesome Captain Marvels card! I love the art on these. I actually have a binder that I collect these things in, excited to add this to my collection! Thank you so much for thinking of me :D
u/ninajyang - Thank you for another wonderful card and all the goodies. My favorite are the cat butt hole stickers XD I'll be replying soon. Have a wonderful trip if I don't catch you before then :)
u/adalt99 - Thank you for the postcard from your museum trip! I have not been there yet. We'll have to check it out next time we're in Boston :)
u/stephanietay x6- Seriously, I think you might be the most under appreciated member on this sub. Your always sending surprise mail with extra goodies. I love seeing the stamps that come with your mail :) Thank you for sending this, I just mailed you something yesterday
u/trustmeimagirl - Thank you for the Tangled postcard! Rapunzel is my favorite Disney Princess :D I haven't actually seen this card before so I was super excited to receive it :)
u/sosococomomo - Thanks for the adventure time card. I always love your little drawing on them :)
u/dwimbygwimbo - So nice to hear from you :D Loved how pretty this card was! Where did you get it from. I'll be replying soon :)
So I'm going to be leaving NY within the next month or so and still need an Ave Q playbill to complete my collection of the ones I've seen - I lost it awhile back and haven't been able to replace it since, and the show is going to close this week anyway. Would anyone know where I might be able to get/buy one of these, or if the theater might be okay with giving these out (the few days I've checked back in at the theater, it was a non show day or a surly New World Stages usher, not someone actually affiliated with the show...)? Or if anyone has a spare and might want to sell it?
I've been searching for this boot FOREVER and I can't seem to find it anywhere! It's really rare, so I'm willing to trade very unfairly for it. I'd prefer the proshot, but I'll take anything at this point.
