My army reserve unit is deploying to the middle east soon. I want to ensure my Soldiers are able to communicate securely among each other without worrying about either state or criminal actors intercepting their communication.
Soldiers will have access to their smart phones but will not have local phone plans. Will they still be able to use Signal just via WiFi, without an actual cell phone number?
Do you have any advice on ways I can implement secure communication between Soldiers? Note: we will not transmit operational information or use it as any form of official communication, I just want to make sure Soldiers can communicate securely between themselves.
Probably a long shot, but I have some stuff for sale/trade in an attempt to get an RTX card. Please help a brother play cyberpunk this holiday season 🙏

I saw a post recently saying Diamine Oxblood is an austere ink. I couldn't agree more. Maybe it could be called dramatic, or intense, too? I really like this idea : I use my fountain pen for writing notes for work and an austere ink makes me feel like a boss (I am not a boss, and don't particularly want to become one, but you get the idea... )
I work for a bank if it can provide any more context, ha!
So, beside the classic black inks (and Oxblood, obviously), what are some austere inks that you like?
Edit : these are my personal notes, nothing related or seen by customers or for any official value.
I really like the look of this Hunting Horn, but I cant figure out what build to go with. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me come up with a decent set and some deco builds for this weapon. Thank you hunters!
Hi, today I am selling my black austere Alice keyboard that I built recently. It's a great board, but I am not a fan of the layout. I am asking for $650 shipped.
Built with Lubed and filmed alpacas V1 with TX 60 gram springs on an aluminum full plate with durock v2 stabs lubed with Krytox 205g0 on the housings and dielectric grease on the wires
I have a grey desoldered Austere with TGR PCB available, looking for trades for winkey 60s/TKLs, particularly F1-8X/Unikorn/Jaguar.
Please comment before PM, chats will be ignored.
My deepest thanks to everyone who enjoyed yesterday's short cyberpunk story. If you enjoyed that one, I have a feeling you'll enjoy this one even more. At a little over 9,000 words it serves as the centerpiece of my new 15-story sci-fi anthology.
This story takes light inspiration from Harlan Ellison's "All The Lies That Are My Life," a lot of inspiration from an experience I had on a forum a few years ago, and mainly attempts to begin constructing a fictional Colorado as compelling and lifelike as Stephen King's fictional Maine.
That said, please leave any feedback you have for this story down below. I really appreciate it. Writing this anthology took five long hard months of dedication and grit, and this is the main story here. I can't wait to hear what you think of it. Enjoy!
