TL;DR: Car fast. No windshield. Gokart. Jeremy Clarkson.
Specifically the car is a 2013 Ariel Atom 3. It has ~2000 miles, the naturally aspirated K24 engine, and appears to have an aftermarket exhaust (put down the expanding foam). I just took delivery of the car 3 days ago. My first time seeing an Atom was when I paid for it at the dealership. I already know it's going to be asked: I run a business producing auto parts
I pixelated a lot of the background because I dont need people going all CSI to figure out where I live. The exterior: https://imgur.com/a/MMGv3Gx
This thing is way lower than you think it is. I have a picture here that sort of does it: https://i.imgur.com/1RbZxGy.jpg
That is a Ferrari FF next to it. I'm just 6 feet, and when sitting with the seat properly adjusted, the top of my head is about 2 inches above the top of the wheel on the FF. Even at my height, my eyes are only a few inches above the top of the dash. I... keep reading on reddit ➡
That's 316 days. 20 Atoms is in no way a good reward for that.
Considering that's probably the hardest challenge to complete (aside from killing the Scorchbeast Queen and a few others that seem to be glitched). It should be 1000 atoms. That reward will only be obtained by the most dedicated players.
I never thought people would see this post let alone have it get as much attention. Just as an FYI, I dont care if they do this or not. It would 100% lead to people AFKing to get the 1k Atoms. Regardless it was just something that popped into my head whilst playing. I'm also not looking for fr... keep reading on reddit ➡
From todays Inside the Vault:
>Q: If Daily and Weekly Challenges no longer award Atoms, will I still earn the same amount in the new system?
>A: There are fewer Atoms overall up for grabs in this new system, but you will still earn them as you increase your Season rank, as well as from our Lifetime Challenges, such as Character, Combat, Social, Survival, and World Challenges.
I mean this whole seasons sounds cool and all, but why nerf daily atoms?
This is what keeps me login in every day to complete and i guess many more players.............
And btw Lifetime challenges most of us veterans already completed them so you can't just throw that and say, "BuT YoU cAn StIlL GeT TheM FrOm LiFeTiMe ChAlLeNgEs!".
Free Atoms was one of the selling points of your game, don't take it back, and yes technically you will still get free... keep reading on reddit ➡
EDIT: double checked Fallout 1st, nothing added . Womp Womp
Im sorry but whoever makes the pictures for the Atom Shop, does a terrible job.
Some of the items just aren't very well shown off and a simple QOL feature (which by the way already existed in Fallout 4 loading screens) could be used here to show people exactly what they're buying and how it looks.
When I read UA I like to find ways to break the subclasses or make op characters, not to play them necessarily but so I can give WotC usefull feedback for problems that might needs fixing before publication when the survey arrives and I think I have outdone myself this time. 1.The Build: Tempest Cleric 2/Scribe Wizard X (some might see where this is going already) 2.The Combo: -Cast Fireball --> Change Damage type to Lightning/Thunder --> Channel Divinity --> do 48 aoe damage (if enemies fail saving throw). You can do this twice/day at lvl7 and trivialize those encounters/murder your frontline fighters if you dont pay attention. This is very strong at early levels but will become ridicolus at late game. a Cleric 2/Wizard 17 can do 240 aoe damage with meteor swarm. For a DM it would be a nightmare to prepare encounters for a party with this build in it and it would not be fun for the other partymembers that would feel redundant compared to the build. I know that not many camp... keep reading on reddit ➡

make sure to buy all the Fasnacht masks with toddcoin to go with the event thats been cancelled.
because 100% the atom shop will work flawlessly tomorrow
they didnt release the Fasnacht crap showing they are aware of the controversy but still refuse to even acknowledge the issue.
they even took down some $95 Fasnacht bundle from their merch store lmao.
it appears that Bethesda has responded to the issue and the event will return tomorrow (provided it works this time) and we will receive some damage control free items next tuesday.
The garage door isn't the one advertised, it's not the same size as the regular garage door, and it does not snap to anything.
Save your atoms.
Does anybody else feel like an idiot for continuing their subscription at times?
I love the convenience of what you get from it but something inside me just tells me paying such a substandard half arsed company extra money is wrong? I kind of feel like I'm contributing to the half arsed nature that the devs of this game have, if they have our continued subscriptions and atom shop payments then what incentive do they have to make an effort, they can't even be bothered to test basic updates.
But then again i guess that's modern gaming :/
Edit: thanks for the awards and great input so far, i appreciate people taking the time to read and get involved in this discussion.
The current challenges were less than engaging content. They required very specific actions unlikely to occur during normal play, so you had to grind them, I never intentionally finished any of the challenges. Any atoms I earned were coincidental. The new set up where I earn various rewards for just playing the game is sure to net me more atoms. I would guess that most players do not farm the daily challenges enough to have this new system result in a loss.
Just noticed that it’s up now instead of tomorrow.
It would probably persuade me to get it; plus, I’d be spending more atoms.
Edit: I see a lot of people saying that the time limit is intentional, purely as a marketing strategy to pressure buyers into purchasing atoms, and that makes sense. A decent compromise to this would be to make them available for longer periods of time for FO1st members, or to make them available all the time, but slightly higher prices. Though I know that’s a lot less enticing for the players.
It is either pure laziness, or in the hopes that we will try our luck and waste our ATOM points.
Here I am just wanting to know if my girl will go bald wearing the beanie from the Lumberjack outfit like she does with soooooo many other headpieces, and that information is unavailable.
So instead, I'm left not spending ATOMs because of the headwear baldness oversight which is the laziest thing I have ever seen in any game to date.. Either fix the damn baldness, or show us if we can pay-to-hair with ATX items! 😤
Hi, TOMT. For years, I've been trying to find what I believe was some type of sci-fi movie or TV episode that I believe I saw as a kid sometime in the USA in the 1990s, but have never had any luck with Googling and the like. My memory is fuzzy and I'm surely misremembering details by now, and getting some things just completely wrong, but I'll try to describe the image in my head the best I can as a starting place.
The setting is some type of featureless void. A woman is walking through it, and comes upon an impish, perhaps not-entirely-human boy huddled over, eating a squirrel or a rat or something like that raw, with blood smeared on his mouth. They speak, and he invites her to play a game that I think he called "knack the atom," or "knock the atom," or something like that. He tells her that if she gets it wrong, the universe may be destroyed, and he hands her something like clear blocks or shapes with which to play the game.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm fairly certain t... keep reading on reddit ➡
" The first batch of Atom DACs will be assembled, tested, and packaged this week. Stock will be available upon announcement. "
Just some info on people who are in a similar boat to me and have been waiting for an Atom DAC for so long they are now considering other DACs like Topping E30(not that there is anything wrong with that). I just wanna get it to match aesthetically :)
I’ve really been struggling to decide between these packs, and my current front runners are:
I want to choose something in the 40-50L internal capacity range, with a removable frame, and am not too interested in ZPacks and Gossamer for the pack.
Does anyone have any recommendations or comparisons between any of the packs if you own/have tried more than one? I’ve read a huge range of reviews of most of these, and they’re generally all quite positive, but I haven’t seen any comparisons.
I'm kinda surprised there's no news on these at all, but:
Any word on these? I know some Community Managers are on here but I don't know their handles or I'd have tagged them. These are relatively expensive items / bundles so it'd be nice to know what's happening with them.
I spend a good amount of time designing and budgeting my camp. Not going to scrap parts of my house just to fit some scorchbeast roasts into my fridge.
Just wanted to bring awareness to this statement made in the Fallout 1st community message sent months ago, promising "Exclusive Discounts" in the Atom Shop.
It'd be great if more ppl were aware of the fact we havent been receiving these promised discounts.
The new Fasnacht bundle is inexcusably expensive for what it is. A wallpaper, a floor and a collectron bot for 1200? Who can possibly justify that price. I love the game and have supported it with 1st and 1 Atom purchase in the past, but this is a kick in the nads for those who want to see it do well.
Seriously. I'm wondering if toward to the end of the life of this game the atom shop might start having something close to reasonable prices.
I'll admit SOME of the bundles feel somewhat decent value (such as the one that included the wood cabin) but it's so horribly inconsistent and for the most part I don't feel it's the case. I'd love to hear other opinions on this to see what the consensus is, especially about this new bundle.
I’ve really been struggling to decide between these packs, and my current front runners are:
I want to choose something in the 80-100L internal capacity range or more because you never know when you're gonna need an extra 20l for cast iron cauldrons.
Does anyone have any recommendations or comparisons between any of the packs if you own/have tried more than one (at once? Are they nested or stacked... keep reading on reddit ➡

I know... most people don’t give a shit, but some of us are OCD crazeballs that crave game completion. I mean it would be AWESOME to actually be able to do one of the - I haven’t counted but I’m guessing 100+ - Atom Challenges that are bugged and won’t complete! Hell even if it was just one got fixed every once in a while and “Joe” was like... “I fixed another one... have at it boys and girls!”...
... that would be great.
Has any one bought it yet? Any new with it?
