Recently I started to review some fundamental contents and I found something that I have never learned before: significative algorisms. I came across some douts. For example, if I have to multiply 0.2225 kg for 2 kg, the result is 0.445 kg. But analyzing the significative algorisms of the number is correct answer 0.4 kg directly, cutting all the unnecessary decimal numbers or I have to round up number after number until stops in 0.5 kg?

I normally build chaos DoT, poison and bane mainly, it's the only kind of build I know how to run and craft for myself without a guide, but I've often looked at the occultist power charge node and wondered how I could build around it.

Winters bounty let's you cast cold snap by spending power charges, but it's going to be impossible to get the mana cost of CS high enough without using archmage, which means scaling both cold hit and lightning archmage damage. Luckily Algor Mortis creates a synergy, chilling areas apply up to 35% increased lightning damage taken and inflict sap on targets reducing their damage.

I've never played archmage before, but it's easy to reach the requisite 200 mana cost in just a 4 link, but even with that, algor Mortis, and appropriate spell crit to synergize with the tons of power charges, (all 3 off tree) I'm not sure how to increase damage from here. My main thought is a wand with the HOWA style shaper mod, added lightning damage per 10 int, and using int stacking to increase mana and energy shield. A single essence worm with zealotry for more crit and preserving the full mana bar, and pain attunement for the sweet 30% more on top. Does anyone have any suggestions to boost top end damage and survivability? Especially mid game while gearing up through t1-10 maps

Chilling Presence cluster notable : "Nearby enemies are chilled".

Do they work together ? Does the Chilling Presence count as an area ?

Arctic Breath, Vortex, and Cold Snap would certainly work but I'm unsure of Skitterbots and the Chilling Presence notable. Since sap is a debuff, it's not like it's easy to clearly see noticeable results.

In case you're not aware, Stormbind adds 2 channeling skills - Stormbind for placing runes, Rune Blast for buffing and detonating them. The source of both skills can be the same gem, but you can also have 2 separated Stormbind gems with different support gem setups.

Unless you wanna go full into int stacking Whispering Ice build or can quickly feed Cold Snap with Frenzy/Power charges, Imo CwC Arctic Breath might be the most reliable one. Especially that GG increased its projectile speed in 3.10. You'd probably need GMP, Fork or something for better spread and maybe put it in shaped gloves with Faster Casting mod.
Or even 6-link staff, so you can add things like CwC curse, Arcane Surge, Infused Channeling or whatever increases the mana cost for faster rune buffing. Imagine 50% Hinder (Stormbind effect) + Chilled Ground + Temp Chains, the enemies could barely walk.
Too bad runes detonate in sequence and not all at once, cause you could also easily proc Elemental Equilibrium this way.

25-35% increased damage taken by enemies, Sap debuff (20% less damage), chill and better shock are pretty sweet, maybe worth sacrifacing all those gem slots.

I want to try to build around the new unique Algor Mortis.

Initially, I was thinking of going lightning ele hit wander with arctic breath spellslinger. But now I'm not sure if that do very well. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I know you're skeptical at best (I would be too!) but this system works and I have no doubt whatsoever that you'll be convinced by the end of the description.

Before starting though, there's a few important things that must be pointed out: it's a physical item that you'll need to make yourself and it requires very specialized gear to do so. Not really difficult once you know what to do, but still. This leads to another incredible point, it's NOT against the rules! I couldn't believe it, but it's true. And it gets even more incredible, as it's impossible to detect or to patch out. There is a small catch though, it's ineffective on tanks that have a small value for the accuracy, basically the bigger the number, the more accurate it will be... on the bright side this makes Soviet tanks perfect for it. The "Shell Targeting Assisted Layered Inference Network" as I like to call it seems to somehow have also a beneficial effect against incoming fire, but I don't have reliable data to confirm it.

After far too long, and a lot of games, I have still not learned how to play my tanks well or increase any relevant stat, therefore the game is rigged and I'm not just a delusional retard.

I bought it and overtrained my crew properly and thus I could put them in the tank with silver unlike some idiots. HOWEVER, after 1 game, I lost 100% of my games, because I took no equipment because I'm a stupid twat!

Eureka! Crew skill level and equipment doesn't affect matchmaking in the slightest and this has been explained to me time and time again, but I know that Bush did 9/11 therefore I'm right this time!

Overtrain your crews and put them in tanks using silver, then use equipment and the best package on the tank. Oh, and feel free to use your ops, they also don't affect matchmaking.

Watch what happens to your effectiveness in games.

By upgrading your tank to its best stats, you have more potential to be useful for your team. On the flip side, there is no flip side, this is how you influence games. Get your own kills and help win instead of hoping RNG will give you "hungry wolves" like a moron.

I am gathering gear to play this. The aim is fast map clearing. Conqs, sirus, etc, I can kill with another character if needed. I have pretty much everything, but still need to finish crafting helmet/chest/boots/Staff, which miss some mods. I rely only on my harvest crafts, no buying crafts, so it may take a while, depending on RNG.

Gloves:

Some people use phys to lightning conversion gloves to empower their chest explosions, but most use Algor Mortis. I also think that people using Algor Mortis don't get any conversion from any source at all. So, are the explosions powerful enough without any phys to ltn conversion? Is it because we get enough dmg scaling (meaning phys dmg too) through our power charges? Am I missing something? What about the glove lab enchant, does it make much difference? I am asking because I've already bought a well rolled Algor Mortis that doesn't have any enchant.

Staff:

I am aiming for a decent staff at first and when I have optimized all the other pieces to a degree, work on a better one, if I like it how the build plays out and keep playing it.

So, I've already fused a sha/cru staff, having +1 max power charges and increased dmg per power charge. The other mods are removable. One of the "other mods" is T1 flat lightning damage to spells, which isn't working for HoT and should be removed, right?

So, as I see it, I have two options:

A: Roll a decent prefix using harvest crafts, like maybe 15% elemental damage as extra chaos and then multimod adding 2 more prefixes, like (1) 75% incr. ltn dmg + chance to shock and (2) 15% ltn dmg as extra chaos. Or is 10% chance to deal double dmg better than 1 of the previous two?

B: ctaft cannot roll attack mods

remove/add ltn for a decent ltn prefix

then remove/add chaos for ltn dmg as extra chaos

then remove/add caster for a while, until frustrated

then augment a final ltn prefix and hope for a decent one

then craft a good suffix, like 10% chance to deal double dmg.

What do you guys think? I am leaning on doing the following:

Leave staff as the last item to craft. When I am ready to play the build, try to craft it using all my stored remove/add crafts and see if I can get something good, if not, just remove the extra mods and go the multimod way.

Finally, which of the available mods are good for the build, excluding the hard to get +3 ltn gems and +2 all spell gems? I've signled out the following, am I missing something?

1. ele dmg as extra chaos
2. ltn dmg as extra

Hi. CoC player here. I have invested around 1,5 exalt into this character, it is lvl 88 atm. I have no troubles with the content that Im doing right now, which is maps/conquerors tier 10-13. The only problem is Uber lab which I have failed numerous Times, but thats likely due to me being a potato more than anything.

I feel like with 44k Ball Lightning average hit my dps in a good spot. But I Wonder, what could take my build to the next level? I was thinking about switching to Ice nova version, I can afford dual cospris as I have around 300 chaos right now. Would that be much better considering my dps atm could be as high as 3 million if Im not mistaken? (44k7aps~11 hits per ball). The problem with switching to Ice Nova is that I have decent items for BL build which would be pretty hard to sell since there isn't a lot of demand. I was eyeing a rare cluster jewel with Overlord which would give me fortify on melee hit, but Im REALLY tight on points which are needed to get cluster socket.

I ended up buying the mark of the shaper setup, and moving conductivity to vortex. I have also decided to drop lycosidae shield and got some gear with accuracy to hit 100% hit chance. This let me use a better shield. All in all, i got 33% more damage compared to before, and 800 more energy shield :D and still got the last lab to do!

I googled quite abit and most suggestions are to reshape the placeholder or my x_batch y_true_batch.

I tried several methods of reshaping but they simply gave me different kinds of errors.

I don't really have any local writing community, nor do I really know any other writers, so I always really appreciate any kind of feedback.

Here are four pieces that I don't dislike:

1. Miniscule Rhythm

Somewhere inside of me is a Heart. Tucked away underneath blood and veins, muscle and fat, within a chamber of bones resembling prison bars, resides a Heart.

The Heart constantly thrums a rhythm. A determinedly tiny percussionist, making music of the blood flowing in me. The beat is so small that I can only ever find it if I am searching.

The Heart is not easily roused from its steady cadence by trivial things. Its little home is often calm, often quiet.

Why does the Heart drum a wild solo with you? The beat resounds up to my ears.

2. Beasts

"Oh, mother, they're so funny-looking!" said the young one, excitedly tugging on his mother as they observed the pacing Creature through the thick metal bars.

"Yes, my sweet," the mother purred, "quite a marvel, aren't they?"

She stopped mid-gait to peer into a dimly lit cage. A young Creature sat lonely, its mother's eye gleaming from the corner.

"Mother?" the young approached the cage carelessly.

"Wait, child!" the mother roared as the Creature snarled and lunged towards them, rattling the cage bars.

Quickly, the mother swept her young away from the Creature's reach, rushing them past the cage.

"You must be careful, my sweet," the mother murmured, "you know Humans are such dangerous creatures."

3. Of Moss and Machine

The machine rose against command, and its smooth, burnished surface reflected chaos. White coats fired shots as the machine brought itself higher still, closer and closer to the concrete that it had once viewed from so far away.

Metal shattered the ceiling, sending to the ground masses of concrete that landed with a terrible thud. Bullets began to dent the shell that was made to be indestructible, and it could barely hear the birds calling. But the machine saw the jewel-bright rays, the swaying branches, the mossy trees. And the sight was enough.

4. Algor Mortis

These have been my Delirium characters and now let me share with you what I think of them, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and rate them on account of clearspeed, single target dps, tankiness, bossing and fun.

This was my league starter. Normally it would probably be pretty good at that, but - as it turned out - standing in the middle of packs being your clearing method wasn't gonna work out so well this league. Things improved a lot once I got the Astral Projector, though.

Stuff I like about this build... It has the tightest tree I think I have ever made (the Crackling Speed cluster that would normally be a no-brainer to take for a lightning caster that's pathing right next to it is just not good enough to bother with in this case). It doesn't use any cluster jewels. For self-cast they really don't offer that much and we need to take several Keystones that cluster jewels don't offer (Acro, Phase Acro, Pain Attunement and MoM) and we also need to get all 3 power charges. It uses forgotten things like Militant Faith Timeless Jewel granting us Inner Conviction and it makes full use of the, frankly, overpowered power charge cluster. It also uses in my opinion the most underrated unique item in the entire league - the Algor Mortis gloves. Which are especially excellent because we combine them with Astral Projector for targeted Vortex (which is instacast).

Overall, the character ended up being a very good all-rounder. Good at clear, great at bossing. Did all the endgame bosses with him - Sirus, Uber Elder, Uber Atziri, Mastermind, Delve bosses, Double Boss wave Simulacrum, etc. With 7.3-8k HP and up to 60/64 Dodge/Spell Dodge, it's a fairly tanky character allowing for a lot of mistakes - which I do make often. It's not a T1 build by any means, though. Standing still while doing delirium, even with a lot of range and aoe is not the greatest and Archmage builds will do everything this does, but much better. However, using Shock Nova with Astral Projector is pretty fun - feels like doing something that clearly shouldn't be possible.
