Seriously, when I see this I rush to message that ill give out free ones, just so some scammer can't make 30-50 unearned plat off of a new player. Ive not been playing long, and I see this daily.
Please fix this =).
Sorry if this is a common one, im a long time lurker and this is my first real post on here.
These are the records in games under 32Β°F for all the NFC contenders:
Rams (since moving to LA): 1-1
Saints in Brees era: 0-4
Seahawks in Wilson era: 0-2
Buccaneers (all time): 0-14
combined: 1-21
Packers in Rodgers era: 19-5-1
Exactly what God and Curly Lambeau intended. I'm sure Lombardi agrees π

edit: Wilson and the Seahawks are 1-2. Didn't account that Seattle at Minnesota in the 2015 playoffs was outdoors. Still, Wilson is 0-5 in Lambeau
I am totally not saying that as a way to mock the DTG cycle we will inevitably see.

Quick question, does anyone feel that due to bad executive function, you get easily taken advantage of? I feel that because I am so in my head, I can't think quickly enough to make a decision. This also means that I feel I can't be assertive, and when I do it is usually too late and I have lost all power.
However, I also feel that when I do realise what somebody is trying to do, it is AFTER the conversation. I realise I said something stupid, or agreed to something that is not beneficial for me?
Does this happen for anybody else here?

Edit: Firstly, I am a little overwhelmed with the responses, I never expected this thread to get so many. Some of the advice has been great so far, I can see it really helping me. With that said, I have to clarify that I have NOT yet been diagnosed (I currently have one for dyslexia though). Me linking being taken advantage of and ADHD is purely my own conjecture.
What follows is one of two conclusions that I can think of:
My opinion is that #2 is unacceptable, and so whether people like it or not, sex and gender definitely do matter in sports, and saying so should not be considered transphobic but simply the result of natural biological differences between the sexes.
edit: my favorite reply so far because it's common sense + from a trans individual: https://www.reddit.com/r/changemyview/comments/kcquld/cmv_if_trans_females_arent_banned_from_competing/gg0qrb3/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Why aren't we allowed to talk about how a literal C student 8th grader is capable of passing the test for a real estate license? Why aren't we allowed to talk about the ease at which you can get this credential contributes to the fact that there are many scumbag realtors trying to close as fast as possible and only looking out for their own interests?
Why can't the realtors in this subreddit admit the industry has a problem and is rife with bad eggs? If the "good" realtors simply said, "yeah, the field is saturated, the credential is too easy to get, and the field full of bad eggs, please do your homework to make sure you find a good realtor" I and many others in this sub would be okay with that sentiment.
But we get the opposite, it's nothing but angry realtors covering their ears and sticking their heads in the sand, berating people, because they feel their livelihood is being threatened if we even talk about this subject. And at that point, when you're engaging in denialism and attacking others for even bringing this issue up, you are doing the same thing the bad realtors are doing, aggressively looking out for your own interests, at the expense of naive homeowners.
How many more "I got take advantage of by my realtor" posts do we need on the front page of this subreddit before we're allowed to talk about this subject without getting downvoted by the realtor brigade? It's a biweekly thing at this point, some poor redditor, first time homeowner gets fleeced by his realtor, and then his/her only options are paying a lawyer a minimum $2,000 on top of the thousands he already lost to go after somebody who could by all means just skip town and not pay. It's really a shame. We NEED a PSA on what red flags to look for so people can start looking out for their bests interests as a homeowner and not get taken advantage of by these high school dropouts looking for a quick buck after their knife selling career at some MLM company didn't work out.
People complain that Counterspell is annoying, but it's much more restricted than people generally think. For people looking for how to get around multiple Counterspellers, allow me to provide some insight.
First: Counterspell only has a range of 60 ft. If the Counterspellers (wizards, warlocks, etc.) are in the back lines on the NPC's turn, the NPC can just back up and use a spell with longer range. Many spells have a range of 120 ft, likely for this reason. Even Forcecage has a range of 100 ft, keeping it out of the range of Counterspell.
Second: Counterspell requires line of sight. Many other spells don't; for example, Shatter does not specify any need for line of sight. A caster can stand in a Fog Cloud or in Darkness, obscuring them to the point that they can't be seen, and cast spells in the general direction of the targets. This is great with Cone of Cold, for example. Also, again, Forcecage doesn't necessarily require line of sight to where you want to build it.
Third: Upcasting your spells forces the counterspeller to either upcast themselves (burning their own high level spell slots), or risk a roll (potentially wasting a different spell slot on a failure). To the NPC, having a Wizard use their only 9th level slot on a Counterspell is much better than them using it on Meteor Swarm, even if it means they don't get to use Power Word Kill or Time Stop.
Fourth: Counterspell consumes someone's reaction. This means that a. someone can't Counterspell more than once till their next turn, and b. they can't Counterspell if they have used another reaction, such as Attack of Opportunity or Shield. This means nothing if the attacker is alone, which is why a smart caster would NEVER be alone. They'd have minions or allies to trigger AoO or fight casters to force them to Shield, or have lower level casters draw out counterspells with fireballs or force the party to eat the fireballs if saving them for the high level caster, who may only use Ray of Frost on their own turn.
I've seen post after post of people on the DnD Facebook page, usually DMs but sometimes players (both roles I currently play), complain about Counterspell. Many people say it's the one spell they'd remove from the game. I think those people just haven't read the spell or thought much about its limitations, because while a useful spell, there are MANY ways around it. It's much better at stopping someone's escape (plane shift, teleport) than actually stopping an offensive spell. To be cl

We met up with him and she has been talking to his friend the entire night and flirting w him while she expects me pay for the entire night.
I feel so degraded and used. I drove an hour to this date and paid over 100 bucks to have her flirt w some other dude and also invite her brother for βfree drinksβ
Im just sitting here feeling like a 3rd wheel on my own date.
Guys have feelings too girls.....
Edit: this was not a first date. We have been seeing each other on and off for a while now. After a few dates I decided I want to keep this casual with her.
She has been hot and cold and I wanted to give it one last chance. Safe to say she totally shot herself in the foot last night.
This whole inviting her brother and then calling her brothers friends to our table was a pure surprise that caught me off guard. I would never agree to it.
The only exit was right infront of our table. And the waitress is friends with the group. Paying and leaving without making it obvious was almost impossible.
I was put in a very uncomfortable situation. I chose to continue to drink and talk to people (there was atleast one dude there who was cool)
I decided to just take the hit and not see her. Luckily, i called another βfriendβ hooked up with her and spent the night passed out next to her.
This was different behavior from her. The brother part was bad but not the worst.
The really bad part was her talking to some guy next to me the entire time and asking him to come get drinks with her brother.
I really felt βfat and not attractiveβ next to this dude who was handsome. Feeling like a 3rd wheel on my own date and getting others to join is a first and a last for me if I can help it.
Primarily for those who voted Leave or who were subsequently in favour of leaving the EU...
what are you most looking forward to as a result of us being independent from the EU?
This post was made just to share my opinion
As the title says:no matter how much it was evolved piggy was originnaly made just to take advantage of grannys hype
-the characters had no creativity
-the first stage was almost a complete recreation of grannys map
-the only thing original was the story
Im not trying to say that granny is totally original or that they should sue piggy. All i am saying is that piggy was never intended to get this big and was probably made for a quick buck
Edit:Keep in mind that this post was made by someone who genuinely dislikes granny so dont think that i am some granny fanboy trying to protect it
edit:i wasnt expecting this post to get this big so i might not be able to reply to all comments

>RJ Barrett says having no fans at MSG may be an advantage for NYK because opposing players always come to the Garden looking to have big games in front of the crowd. I think heβs right. Other coaches/players have said over the years that opponents always want to play well at MSG

>Point of clarification re: RJ Barrett's thought below: he isn't saying the he doesn't love playing at MSG w/fans. He does. "MSG is the best place to play, in my humble opinion." He said something that dozens of other players/coaches have said re: teams getting up to play at MSG.

(The Disney trilogy isnβt included because it would have little bearing on this challenge.)
Yoda has received a box set of all six Star Wars movies that he can watch on any sort of device within the Jedi Temple. He treats them as fact, and while he cannot use the movies themselves as evidence if he needs to prove something, he CAN still use their information to his advantage. In an ideal situation, he would have Palpatine exposed and the Jedi Order saved. How would he go about this?
Throwaway Account
First I (29f) just want to establish that I am not the direct beneficiary of the favoritism. My child (3f) is and it's by my older brother Mark (35m). Ten years ago Mark was engaged to his high school sweet heart, Melissa (35f), but he caught her cheating with my other brother David (33m) and the engagement was off. We were all deeply empathetic to Mark and made no secret how angry and ashamed of David we were but David said that he was in love and never meant to hurt Mark.
Eventually our parents decided to forgive David because he and Melissa were expecting and went to the wedding. David asked Mark and I to attend, and said he would really like for us to heal as a family for the sake of the first grandchild. Mark obviously wasn't going and I, still conflicted, opted not to go but sent in a gift. Instead I spent the day with Mark and he told me that our parents and I were free to still have David in our lives but from that day forward he was dead to him.
The only time Mark agreed to be at the same event as David was for my college graduation and wedding. My dad has accepted that his sons will never be close again, but mom still has her hopes that one day there will be a reconciliation. During the pandemic my husband and I hit a rough spot and when I was venting to Mark, not asking just venting, he direct deposited me a couple thousand and started doing it every other month since May. I was grateful but insisted that I didn't need that much and wanted to pay him back. Mark refused and said that any money I gave him he would put into the college fund that he set up for my daughter.
To save ourselves the drama my husband and I decided not to tell my parents or David, but my MIL brought it up and now my parents, David and Melissa know that Mark also set up a college trust for my daughter and that, since Mark is childfree, she and any other children that I may have will be the sole heirs to his estate. My mom is upset that I am taking advantage of Mark's anger towards David and thinks I'm selfish for letting Mark play favorites against my nephew (9) and twin nieces (5). My parents are trying to get me to talk to Mark into giving some of his fortune to David's children because they're innocent in all of this. I agree that they are innocent and that playing favorites isn't very fair but my husband doesn't want to risk Mark taking away his support. AITA?
Edit: Just to be clear. I didn't tell my MIL, my husband did because she was thinking of
