My memory is pretty blurry and I’ve tried to find this for so long with no luck.
In my 5th grade class, so around ‘99, we did a module for... I’m guessing language arts, and I can’t remember the name of.
It lasted for several weeks with different story vignettes about a protagonist (maybe multiple protagonists, probably a kid but I can’t remember,) on a voyage.
Some details I think I recall include meeting a woman with eyeliner tattoos / permanent makeup, a two-headed llama (google suggests the Dr. Dolittle’s push-me-pull-you), and maybe some time in the desert?
In class, there were tapes the teacher played with the story— and audio book I guess. Each chapter had a lesson that tied to logic or physics or maybe even math like patterns. There might have been coordinated worksheets, definitely assignments. It was so much fun and I remember feeling so engaged in the story!
Thanks I’m advance. This one has been on the TOMT for years!
I think Yamcha might be the great fit in the night shift activity being a hero when sayiaman is sleeping at night... it will kinda make sense... Even if Yamcha isn’t a Z fighter or doing training anymore it doesn’t mean his will to save people is out.... I think Yamcha being a hero will just become rumors... I think because to people who he saved don’t know his identity since his speed just make him a blur to them... Also they will think it’s sayiaman or something... that might get the attention to Gohan ,but he will just ignore it. Due to the person behind this is a good guy ,so he doesn’t mind about him saving people when he is asleep.
I just realized that Hulu finally has the dub! This is definitely one of my favorite animes, so I’m going to savor it 🥰😭🥺💕😊 would be so awesome to have someone to message back-and-forth about it! And NOT spoil anything of course lmao
Here’s a quick and dirty guide detailing the fastest way to get 100 daily activity points, not only providing the guild the max of 100 of activity points per day used to summon Soren, but to unlock every daily rewards chest as well:
2: Challenge A Boss: Start a fight in the campaign. Once the fight begins, immediately hit Pause, and Exit Battle. You do NOT need to finish the fight or even win to get credit for this quest. +20 points
Gift a Friend Companion Points One Time: Open your friends list, down in the lower right hit “Send & Receive.” +10 points
Move onto the Dark Forest tab.
Begin 3 Solo Bounty Quests: Open the bounty board and fill out at least 3 solo bounties. While you’re there, you might as well do your Team Bounties as well, as those are needed for a weekly quest. +10 points
Begin a Battle in the King’s Tower: Enter the King’s Tower and begin a fight in any available Tower. For finishing your quests the fastest, immediately pause and exit the fight after it begins. +10 points
Begin a Battle in the Arena of Heroes: Go to the Arena of Heroes and challenge any player, but preferably one you know you’ll win against just for extra daily diamonds if you go up in rank. You should have at least one free Arena fight available per day, so this doesn’t even use a ticket. +20 points
Take Part in a Guild Hunt Once: Go to Ranhorn, go to the Guild Grounds, open Guild Hunting, and challenge either Wrizz or Soren at least one time. Only one fight is necessary, and a Quick Battle counts for the quest, but do as many fights as you want/can if you want those rewards. (Hint: you should want those rewards.) +10 points
You’ve now contributed 100 activity points to the guild, and unlocked all of the daily chest rewards without using a single resource.
TO THOSE CONCERNED ABOUT HOW THIS WORKS WITH THE MYTHIC TRICK LATER IN THE GAME: Collecting your AFK Rewards does NOT interfere with the trick at all. The only way you could possibly mess up your progress for the trick is if you COMPLETE the fight in campaign mode. So long as you are able to pause and exit the fight, your mythic gear countdown will remain unchanged.
VIP 6 offers additional bonuses that can increase your efficiency while doing this. Today on two separate accou... keep reading on reddit ➡
My sister is looking for this book she had during her childhood (80's and 90's) for her daughters.
She remembers solving puzzles and mazes in a fantasy setting with castles, moats, cliffs, dungeons, and dragons, using tools like shoes with wings and keys to overcome some of the challenges. It was brightly illustrated.
If there are any questions of more details, I can ask my sister and see if she can dig up from her memory.
Hey all! I'm looking for a flash game I used to love playing, been wanting to try it out again for a while but no luck finding it.
I recall playing it on Kongregate a while back, and that you would have a character that you decide what they do on a day to day/week to week basis, building stats and going in adventures, to become stronger, and leading to an ending based on how your character grew.
Thanks in advance!
This was all found in the latest text string posted by /u/Ginsor here.
Here's some details on the Tribute Hall, which comes out on the same day as Solstice of Heroes:
> The Tribute Hall: A golden hall of wonders created by the Emperor to celebrate your legacy.
> Treasure Chest Tribute: A tribute containing components of a vault, a storage device commonly used by the Guardians of Earth.
It sounds like we collect tributes relating to different characters and enemies to then presumably unlock certain loot. There are loads and loads so I won't copy and paste them all here, but I'll try to summarise a few of the noteworthy ones.
There are tributes for every enemy type.
Some tributes can "simulate" enemies like Acolytes and Hobgoblins
One can simulate "delights found within the Leviathan raid" (Year 1 Raid gear?)
Some can simulate different ammo types, one can simulate Orbs of Light.
There are also tributes for statuettes of a few major characters (Ikora, Zavala, Shaxx, Mara Sov, Saladin etc.)
There's one called "Memory of Ta'aurc", whether we wanted it or not.
There's a tribute each for Eater of Worlds, Insurrection Prime and Gahlran (the Crown of Sorrow boss). Can't find anything for Riven.
There's a note next to every tribute stating that "Cost may be reduced by delivering Boons of Opulence to the Visage of Calus", so presumably we're going to have to earn and buy these tributes during the event from within the Tribute Hall.
Let's see how many we can come up with that are very short but also helpful/accurate!
As the title says. This game collects the daily amount of steps and moves them to the game. Then you can spend it in many ways, for example on a mission, open a guild chest or open a gate to fight with bosses. Ofc, we've included normal RPG things, such as PVP, dungeon, buying items/skills etc. So you can still do your normal things like a go to school/work/store, train, walk, dance, jump, etc. and keep making progress. Let us know what you think about this kind of gameplay :)

Out of a lot of time spent playing GW the best, most exciting play time was hosting hero battle death-match tournaments using a gvg scrim to fight a last-man-standing match at the flag stand, with each player bringing 3 controllable heroes. We used fun home-brewed rules such as the player must play a monk, and each hero must be a warrior primary with only attack skills, or the player and each hero must be warrior secondary with a hammer equipped. Figuring out the best combination using highly unique rule sets was fascinating.
In 2009, the use of heroes was within gvg (and HA) was disabled, coinciding with the introduction of named henchmen replacing the previous generic henchmen. However, this also disabled the ability to use heroes in a GVG scrimmage.
I have a question for the community, is there any way to convince the devs to allow heroes in gvg "scrims" once again, or provide another option for some type of hero battles? I would invest my personal resources, time / money, to make it happen if it were possible.
One of the main reasons I got a GoPro in the past was to film various underwater life while snorkelling, whether it's fish, turtles, coral etc. One thing that I noticed was that theres always a lot of shake due to waves and you'll probably only get around 4-5 usable seconds of footage out of a minute of filming as you try your best to stabilize your arm.
My question is, does the Hero 7 stabilization help with this at all? Has anyone been snorkelling with it with the hypersmooth on?
and maybe related things like 10/20/50/1000 omnislashes with the jugg relic (for example) could also be included. its awesome having the medal upgrades in there now but its still so quiet. just the occasional rampage or aegis steal. achievements need to be celebrated. in the same vein we should have "____ was commended 25 times this week!" to positively reinforce good behaviour in pubs!
Here are my hero’s:
Also, what hero’s should I focus on next? Finally, how do I get PD to proc more often? My other hero’s seem to beat him to towers or enemies and kills them before he can attack and so rarely seems to proc his skill.
