H.R. 350 ACLU states " The definition of domestic terrorism is broad enough to encompass the activities of several prominent activist campaigns and organizations."

The upcoming weeks there is a new bill that Congress is set to renew warrantless surveillance to allow the spying on political opponents. As Schaffer from The Blaze explains in this pod cast this is a threat to our privacy and will be used to demonize the Conservatives or anyone who goes against the establishment. Please listen https://open.spotify.com/episode/3abjDcfnB6i6hdyc0uvNGk?si=HPyMwQ3gQ2-_7MXwfHg38A

H.R. 350 is a bipartisan bill that according to the ACLU states " The definition of domestic terrorism is broad enough to encompass the activities of several prominent activist campaigns and organizations."

This is very concerning - This bill will weaponize the Federal Government to legalize spying not only on the Right Wing but to any group that questions the party in power of government.

This bill targets the BLM and Antifa movements as well if they go outside of what the party in power deems acceptable. This is a Democratic and RHINO led effort pushed by the pundits at CNN.

Because of events on January 6, there will not need to be an actual threat to safety but the mere thought that someone could become violent over with an activist movement would be enough to shut it down. If you protested for the enforcement of Term limits a highly unpopular idea among lifetime politicians but popular by both main party members, you could be deemed a domestic threat and your privacy be violated.

With the word Racist being thrown around for anything can be offensive to a group regardless of whether it is racist or not, this causes a problem. As Adam Schiff states in on his website

β€œ Even though Americans today are more likely to be killed by white-supremacists than international terrorism organizations while on American soil, treating these terrorist acts, including racist or anti-Semitic shootings, differently than other acts of terrorism makes the public take it less seriously. This legislation will tackle that challenge by providing new and necessary tools to prosecutors and investigators to respond to the rising threat of domestic terrorism.”

If you are labeled as White Supremacists, then you are eligible to be investigated. The mere mention of relations between Trumpism (often referred to a White Supremist movement) was tied to those actions take by Wall Street Bets recently by Chris Cilliza / .

β€œ Except that this time, amateur investors decided to revolt against the pros. Using Reddit -- and a subreddit known as [r/ wallstreetbets](https://www.

LPT: Don't be scared by the word 'diet'. By definition, a diet is simply what you eat. Get on a 'planned diet' that includes foods you like combined with exercise activities that you enjoy doing. Same advice goes for getting on a 'planned budget' that includes expenses that you enjoy.

Seriously. I always hear about people being scared of the words 'diet' and 'budget', as if they're evil words. Like, are you crazy? You're already on a diet and a budget! It's just not a good one and is mostly controlled by your impulses.

You know what keeps people on a plan? Make it fun and feed your impulses PLUS your goals. You like chocolate? Fine, have a serving of chocolate dipped banana slices every day. Can't sacrifice vacation every summer? Fine. Put some money aside every month and save for it.

There is just so much stigma against these to words. Yet, 90% of people who are on planned diets and budgets are having MORE fun than the people with no plan. Change your impulse diets and impulse budgets to planned diets and planned budgets that include the joys of life.

In my 7th year as a Target, I have enough evidence to convict multiple gang-stalkers: they deserve life imprisonment as their actions meet the definition of Terrorist Activities in the Criminal Code of Canada || I cannot wait to be rid of them (they include family, friends, police, lawyers, judges+)

I have endured Organized Stalking and Harassment ("OSH") since my former sociopathic spouse learned of its existence in 2014 following my announcement that the children and I were leaving him. While it is absolutely true that some malicious government/law enforcement/judiciaries are involved in this "New-Age" Terrorist Group ("Group"), I assure you that OSH is not exclusive to them. Individuals with a variety of "skills" are involved; from those whom will happily torture your daughter's adorable kitten to those whom will happily hack your technology/delete files/commit fraud to those whom will beat you/arrest you/incarcerate you.

Many individuals seem to participate in the "Directed Conversation" strategy for sport: I believe them to be sociopaths because I can think of no other reason why they would invest so much time in the annoyance of me. Others, I believe, are threatened to participate. There are others whom are likely paid.

I have been studying my stalkers since they became too impossible to continue to ignore (2017) and I believe that there are multiple "compensation schemes" which keep these individuals involved: from some pyramid scheme designed to take down a target to contract-for-hire stalkers to perform a specific role ... and everything in between.

The list of strategies that is employed is expansive: the Group is international, highly-organized and tech-enabled. The reasons for becoming a target can be as simple as competing for a promotion/award to going through a divorce to the fact that one is a whistle-blower or political activist.

Where I am from (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada), this Group has infiltrated most government services, publicly-funded Not-For-Profits and corporations. They are in the school system, hospitals and victims services agencies. Why? Ottawa has a massive covert human trafficking operation that is maintained by a highly-educated, white-collar crime ring. Unbeknownst to my former spouse, my children were identified for this pipeline nearly ten years ago.

In closing, my former spouse recruited stalkers to emotionally/psychologically abuse me into multiple psychotic breaks so that he could claim I was mentally ill, take my children and "beggar" me. The longer I endured the Group, however, the more I learned of its participants and strategies. (I am a 54 year-old, highly-educated, experienced analyst/writer/speaker). As I began to publicly expose them, I went from a victim of domestic violence to a whistleblower to a t

[Discussion] Need suggestions to create a safety index definitions for various activities.

Hey all, I am working on a web project that I would like to include a safety index for various activities someone may be involved in, from sports, professions, and other hobbies or activities.

I have a basic scale of very safe, safe, moderate, dangerous, very dangerous.

I was wondering from a healthcare stand point, if you would agree with or change my assessment of what these scale items would consist of. Thanks

Safety- How likely you are to sustain physical injury or illness from the hobby

  • Very Safe - Injuries or illness are unlikely
  • Safe - Minor bumps or scrapes may occur
  • Moderate - Concussions or occasional broken bones may occur
  • Dangerous - May result in permanent illness or injuries
  • Very Dangerous - May result in serious injuries or death.

Some items I would likely want to also include a warning, such as foraging in which is fairly safe with the proper training but may lead to illness or death if you don't know what you are doing.

Considering how STEM fields naturally attract introverts, shouldn't managers at companies avoid or at least make their supposedly fun activities not mandatory? By imposing their definition of fun, aren't they doing more harm than good?

A tech company engineering director says how she hosts some team activities for employees to have fun together.

Link: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/news/should-engineers-have-fun-at-work-5042514/

You can also find a video on that page where a team from another company is playing some board games at work, and everyone is laughing and enjoying themselves.

I also saw comments from other users about how fun that workplace is.

My reaction to that post and that video was quite contrary to the majority of comments. I absolutely didn't find that fun. It is something I wouldn't enjoy at all. I communicate well during meetings, and I work well with my team to solve the tasks at hand.

But when almost all of the top tech companies have such supposedly fun activities for team bonding, or other reasons, I think it alienates people like me who are good engineers but don't enjoy such activities.

Another comment on that post, is relieving and shares similar opinion of mine: >For any software engineer truly suited to their job, the work required should already be "fun", in and of itself. If not, then said engineer is in the wrong line of work and should find something they would enjoy doing every day for the rest of their career. For many, being forced to endure such irrelevant social engagement is an uncomfortable disincentive they would do anything to avoid. "Community" isn't something you can impose, it can only be "nurtured"! It develops organically, not from what you think would be "fun" but what those on your team actually enjoy. You learn this by observing and paying attention. Then, when you learn what works, you simply do more of it. Follow through on this idea of imposing "fun" at work and you risk alienating all your best engineers.

Considering how STEM fields naturally attract introverts, shouldn't managers at companies avoid or at least make their supposedly fun activities not mandatory? By imposing their definition of fun, aren't they doing more harm than good?

What’s your definition of β€œsexual activity?”

Newbie here trying out the gray-a label and am getting stuck. I’m reading the definition about how gray-a’s don’t experience sexual attraction the same as other people, and so I look up the definition of sexual attraction, and it basically says that it makes you want to do sexual activity, so I look β€œthat” up...and it’s a little less clear. Most places that even bother to try to define it include things you do with a partner that would generally lead to climax, but then some other definitions include emotional components. I am all about emotional closeness but not interested in the other stuff except very rarely. I might best be described as heteroromantic gray-a...but because everyone’s definitions of β€œsexual activity” don’t match, I’m getting confused.

Is it just that we are kind of making this up as we go along since the default is sexual humans lol?
