Every time I point to one of the 9 regions of the abdomen regarding the location of something
Everyone is super confused.
Am I a werido?
I've included a link to another subreddit where I've posted this - I'm so creeped out and concerned. The first time it showed up on my four year old daughter's stomach and she said it hurt around it (it was pretty red) and my instincts were to have her soak in the tub and see what happens to it.
After she was out of the bath this "stem" turned white and soft, and I was able to pull it out with tweezers, apply neosporin, and it healed just fine. She has had excema since she was a baby and I thought she had scratched and caused a scab that simply grew in a weird way, but now tonight she has the exact same thing, this time on her chest.
Please help ease my mind, because it's 11pm and I'm freaked out by this. TIA!
Iβve been sitting a lot lately and lifting my leg causes some pain in the area where the leg meets the abdomen. Iβve added a picture explaining the area.

Iβm struggling here. My doctor thinks I might have acid reflux, but doesnβt know for sure yet. Theyβre actually pretty stumped. Itβs been weeks of me traveling to various doctors appointments and getting different tests. It seems like some of my symptoms can be explained by acid reflux, except for my biggest symptom: upper left abdominal pain. I thought by asking about this symptom here that I could find out if others with acid reflux, GERD, or similar have experienced this.
My pain is under my lower left ribs, so although Iβm unable to touch the area that hurts, my ribs also feel a little sore in that area. Itβs where your pancreas and spleen are located (I had an ultrasound and both are fine). The pain comes and goes throughout the day, and I think itβs related to eating, though sometimes I wake up and it already hurts before Iβve had anything to eat. It might be triggered from just drinking water in the morning. I also sometimes experience pain in a similar location on the right side, but thatβs only like 5% of the time.
Other symptoms: Iβve been burping a lot recently, something I didnβt do before. My throat sometimes feels like someone is lightly pressing on it, enough to be uncomfortable but I donβt have trouble swallowing. Iβve never had heartburn. A few times Iβve had chest pain like it will almost be a twitch in my chest that only lasts a second, but it will happen numerous times within a half hour. Sometimes I have to cough, but I definitely donβt have a cough - itβs like one cough at a time maybe 2-5 times per day. A few times Iβve had pains/discomfort in my intestines/colon area. My bathroom habits are regular and unchanged.
I was prescribed Omeprazole 20mg to be taken once a day in the morning. I took it for 6-7 days and the abdominal pain had subsided a lot. For some reason I didnβt think it was feeling better because of the medicine so I stopped taking it, and 2 days later the full pain returned, so Iβve been taking the medicine again and the pain is reduced again. I really donβt want to be reliant on a PPI medication in order to not have abdominal pain.
Whatever I have, I am 99% sure this is because I took 12 days of an antibiotic, Cipro (Ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone), and my body hasnβt been right since.
TL;DR - does anyone else experience extreme pain in their upper left abdomen under your rib cage, close to the pancreas/spleen area? It seems to be helped by Omeprazole (PPI) but I donβt want to be stuck taking it forever.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Something Iβve been wondering for a while. Also how in any other fight heβs been in he didnβt react like that (for example, at the sex club when the Tracis were fighting him.) Is his abdomen just sensitive? Is his software or something telling him he shouldnβt have been hit there?
Not sure if it's GERD or gastritis, but I feel like it might be because my stomach is inflamed/bloated or something, so I can't expand my lungs all the way.
Anyone else?
Hey guys, I'm WFH on my own projects and have been for some time. Sometime I go through a period of days/weeks where I gradually find myself getting worse sleep, and notice I'm clenching my jaw a bit in the morning and my abdomen/gut feels all out of whack.
I think I just need to get out and enjoy some good weather and hang out with some friends. But it's lockdown and winter in Wales, so options are zero.
Does anyone experience similar? I've got next to no outside pressures. Just my own will to work and get better at coding. I see some people say they like playing computer games to relax, which I'd love to do but I get too addicted and then that comes with its own problems...
It's like normally they mesh together fine but now whenever I move or breathe it's like they're not fitting smoothly. It's like they have to rub against each other now to move around.
(possible trigger for weight mention) Iβm actually at my limit. Iβve posted here before and everyone was very helpful and kind with providing me with more info as to what it could be, but after 5 months of visiting 3 different clinics and running all kinds of tests with completely different doctors, Iβm fully done.
I went with symptoms of crohnβs, which have been dismissed with an endoscope and a colonoscopy, but was eventually at the final doctors diagnosed with chronic gastritis and IBS. I thought this would be a start- finally getting somewhere- but I noticed I was only prescribed stuff to help with heartburn, and nothing else whatsoever.
This doesnβt help me. I have stopped eating almost entirely because I get the most painful icehot stabbing around my bellybutton and abdomen when I do. Iβve lost 20kg in just over a month from not eating. Iβm at the point where some days I physically canβt get out of bed because I have absolutely no energy. Iβm wasting away, my bones are visible, Iβm the unhealthiest Iβve ever been and Iβm truly scared. Some days Iβm sure I wonβt make it through the night, even.
But I canβt handle pain anymore. I donβt have the strength to nearly throw up every piece of food I have. A family member went to the same doctors for another problem and bumped into my gastroenterologist, who asked how I was and then told him that Iβm just βsensitiveβ and all these symptoms are likely in my mind and thatβs the final straw for me.
Giving me no help, no options, no painkillers, then suggesting itβs psychosomatic- and STILL giving me nothing further like SSRIs or SOMETHING has made me fully given up. I feel like itβs my fault Iβm in this pain. Iβm completely wasting away and underweight and itβs my fault for making up these symptoms to myself? I fully canβt take it anymore. I canβt. Iβd say I donβt want to live like this anymore but this stopped being living a long time ago. I donβt know what to do.
Which wrestlers did this? Can you find a Youtube clip of the gesture?
Costochondritis is a painful chest wall condition, caused by inflammation in the joints of the rib cage.
Iβm still waiting for test results from my doctor to rule out a few other things, but I came across this while googling side effects of Cipro and it sounds like a possible fit. No matter what I have, it is 100% from taking Cipro because I never had any problems before taking it.
Mounting my new speakers and dropped it. Also bumped into a floor standing speaker and knocked that bitch over. Anyone else cringe to the core looking at your precious speakers falling to the ground? Very minimal damage and hardly noticeable, but I know itβs there and I always stare at it. Maybe itβs just my OCD, but goddamn it hurts my soul...
Long story short, we have a new student in the pre-K room whose on the autism spectrum and I was positioned to be his shadow for today. I have zero background in special education or anything like that so I feel like I donβt know what Iβm doing. I recently learned that he has a tendency to bite when he gets frustrated π₯²
Would you say Ab Isolation is necessary if you are doing lots of Loaded Carries and Pull Ups, together with your usual Push Ups, Dips, OHPs, DLs, Squats and so on..?
I remember Jeff stating at one point that you should train Abs like everyday, but that doesn't mean through direct Ab training necessarily though, right?
Hi, I am working on my first book and well, the scenario would be as mentioned above. Will the character survive after being stabbed? Like, will they make it to the hospital after (hm maybe 3-6hrs later)?
There are times where my pacemaker feels like itβs pressing against a nerve or a rib? It hurts and it lasts for like 2/3 days and only hurts if I move a certain way. Is it possible for your pacemaker to shift and then shift back to normal?
