Lmfaooo what a quote from Zach
Let's say I am getting a stock grant of $10,000 vested over 4 years (so I get $2,500 a year, so $625 every quarter). It says that I will be paying the taxes of this stock for this year, though the stocks are not fully vested yet. This is fine if I were to stay all 4 additional years.
However, the question is, what happens when I leave when I forfeit the remainder? Let's say I leave after 1 year, so I get $2,500 worth of stocks, but the other $7,500 will not forfeited since I no longer work for the company.
Do I get a tax refund the following year as this is a $7,500 loss? Also, this doesn't overlap with the annual $3,000 of credit if you lose money on stocks, right?
I've a physical test in 2 months and i need to reach about 12:30 in order to pass in the 2.4Km run. My current best timing is 14:30.
Will running with a weighted vest help boost my timing when i finally take it off for my test?
What are some of the benefits of running with the weighted vest
Edit: i should add on that I'm in the armed forces. There might be operations in the future where I'll have to run with a full gear as well as a weighted bulletproof vest all amounting up to 20kg. If i practice with a weighted run, it'll obviously help in some ways for the future operations right?

Hello there 👋
So I'm moving to the Baltimore area for work, and was shocked to find out how expensive rent is there. My salary is going to be 52k/yr, which doesn't go very far in the region, but I will also be given a sign-on bonus that will be paid monthly over a 6 month period. The bonus is about $700 a month. In addition, I will be given restricted stock that will vest at a rate of 20% of the award every 6 months over a 2.5 year timeframe. As most apartments require that gross income is 3x the rent, can I factor in the sign-on bonus payments/stocks? If so, how would I do this during an application for an apartment? Thanks for any advise here!
